   If I could give it a 10 I would. We celebrated my husband’s birthday and it was the most pleasant experience from the hostess to the waitress. They were so warm and inviting. Now the meal was DELICIOUS! And the muffins were the devil. We could’ve eaten 100 of them. Thank you By George for such a satisfying evening. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his birthday.

   The food was good. The atmosphere was underwhelming. There was supposed to be live music. It was not music at all.

   Enjoyed a nice brunch at very nice restaurant built in a historic building. We enjoyed the food very much.

   The food is excellent and the service, if you get Iris as your server, is impeccable. We enjoyed the Candler Breakfast, several omelets, the chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits (amazing Creole seasoning!) and the lobster roll. Both meals we shared the lemon blueberry pancakes for the table...something i highly recommend. Delicious and a comfortable and bright space in downtown.

   Service started out ok. Then got food. It was over cooked but still flavorful and not dry. Then service was none existent. Had to flag down someone to give us the check. Waited another 10 minutes for it.

   I can’t say enough great things about Bye George! Every time I visit, the host staff welcomes me warmly and seats me promptly. I come so often they even know me by name! David provided outstanding service — he didn’t miss a beat. This time, I decided to try the salmon instead of my usual favorite, the shrimp and grits, and it was fantastic. Of course, I still indulged in the delicious cornbread — the best in the city! Thank you for making every lunch such a wonderful experience.

   This was our first time at this restaurant. The service was outstanding. The food was delicious. Specially the mussels! They were very tasteful. The drinks were delicious and the dessert as well. The restaurant is beautiful and the building worth checking it out! Will definitely recommend!
