Buttons Ft. Worth has always been a favorite spot for me and my friends. Unfortunately, it has been a while since my last visit. But let me say, it was just as I remembered! Great food. Great vibes. Great service. Great music. The band was amazing! And I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the greens were made with turkey instead of pork. I will definitely make it a priority to make the next visit sooner.

The Sunday brunch buffet was amazingly stupendous awesome scrumptious. The music was just too loud...if the bass guitar and drums would have been at a much lower decibel it would have been enjoyable. I will go back but not if there is love music

1st of hostess was burping in our faces after not even acknowledging our presence while on the phone. Service once seated was so slow we thought about serving ourselves. Had to wait for glasses to get a mimosa, then there was black unidentified specks in one. It was replaced by lady who appeared to be in mgmt not out server. Food was not special. Ordered chicken and waffles. Chicken overcooked and hard. Portion on salmon was minimal, we still ended up eating elsewhere because we were still hungry and unsatisfied. It was our anniversary and drove from Frisco, TX. Because we had went to the closed location in Addison years ago and thought the experience would be good. So disappointed and embarrassed because I suggested the place, ruined anniversary and I ended up in tears. Never will recommend and in fact will post my experience and tell others about it.

This is a place to enjoy when you're not in a rush. I've made 2 reservations for after 8pm thus far. Both times I've checked in 15 min prior and waited over 30 min past my reservation time. There isn't much seating in the waiting area. If you stand outside you run the risk of getting passed over. The hostess calls your name from her (both times) booth which is inside. Both times I've come, there have been at least 20 ppl waiting to be seated. The food for 2 comes out quickly. The food to my husband and me has been okay. We definitely favor the fried chicken over other dishes. Both of the desserts that I ordered were half eaten....not to my liking. Not sure about the food time for large groups. The atmosphere is GREAT for a mature hangout place. I will definitely return for the atmosphere; not so much for the food.

The place is run down, ripped seats, sticky table, and they're rationing out food. They served me a 1/2 of a chicken breast, abd I work in food industry, so I know it was cut in half to make 2 plates. Unclean dining area, with seats with big tips. My date actually got sick after the meal, either from the horrible drinks we had or the under cooked chicken she had.

Button's never fails to please with excellent chicken and soul food. The live music is local and jazzy, sometime good sometime -meh-. Don't try to have a long converstion though, it's VERY LOUD. Service can be spotty when they are busy.

Had the Salmontine. Salmon grilled to perfection. The spinach and cheese did not agree with my stomach later so I know to skip 'tine' part on my next visit.

I enjoyed my visit to this restaurant on more than one occasion. Some of the menu items changed but the menu was not updated so I was a little disappointed when they server was telling that certain options were no longer available. In the future, I hope the menu is updated so that customers can know exactly what the are getting for their money. The entertainment was great!

I have always enjoyed buttons in the past. Good food music and dancing if you would like to. When i made reservations I requested to be close to the band. When we came in we were literally sat by the door with people coming in blocking our view. I had told the hostess that I had requested a table close to the band and would have appreciated a call to let me know that would not be possible before I ggo t there since they had a large party coming. The host just rudely told me it was what it was and they large party took precedence without regard for our needs. The manager came up to us and said and acted the same way. I did not feel valued as a customer. However we did have a lovely waitress that was very attentive and treated us well. The food was good as well. I just feel like we were put in the back and our experience was not what it could have been if we could actually see the band. I would have honestly taken my friends elsewhere if I had known where we would be placed.

Great way to celebrate my birthday. A friend from out of town joined me and was very impressed with Buttons. Wow! the entertainer on Friday night was awesome, great voice, great music. I was happy that she sang songs that I could relate to and sing with! People enjoyed themselves and it was good to be in the crowd, fun evening. The food was great!. . . greens could have used a little less salt. God bless.

I'm from out of town. This was my 3rd time visiting this restaurant for brunch and the first two times was amazing... fabulous food, great service, good music. This third time, i came with other out of town friend which i recommended and the service was awful, the food was just Ok...I was extremely disappointed and embarrassed that i made the recommendation. I hope this was a one time situation.

I booked a reservation for 845 and arrived about 5 minutes early. We were greeted by a crowd flowing out the door and the sounds of an r&b group blaring. We were told that there were 7 parties to be seated before us. We were finally seated at about 925. Honestly, if I make reservations, I expect to be seated promptly. The reservations were made early, not last minute. When we were finally seated, it was at a high top in the bar area right next to the restrooms. We were told that those were reserved tables, but during the middle of our meal we watched people sit right down next to us without reservations or being on the wait list. We informed our waitress and the assistant manager who had brought our food and then, they took those people’s order. Now to the food. Luckily, the band went on break when our food was arriving so at least we could eat without the blaring of poorly executed rhythm & blues. We had the fried green tomatoes to start. There were three of us eating and the waitress explained that the dish was small so we might want to order 2 so everyone could try it. I wanted everyone to try so we ordered 2. There were three slices of tomato on each plate so one would have been plenty. The tomato was under seasoned and the dish was overcomplicated. The tomatoes were covered with ham slices and an over easy egg and they laid on top of a gravy that was the highlight of the dish. It seemed upside down. The tomato should be the star. Entrees: I had the shrimp, fish, and grits. My friends had the oxtails and pot roast. There were two large shrimp on my dish accompanied with three fillets of fried fish that I’m pretty sure wasn’t farm raised. It was fried nicely, but fishy. There was also a creole style shrimp sauce that contained salad size shrimp. The grits were watery as opposed to creamy and the entire dish was topped with, you guessed it, an over easy egg. The oxtails needed more gravy and pot roast was average at best. I’m from Nola. I expect better. I say boo
