Good food and good atmosphere and band was good as well!!
I would recommend making a reservation for around 7 pm place fills up fast.
We are from Milwaukee,wi. I was in Texas on vacation for my birthday. My husband had chicken and waffles I had fried chicken wings. Our food was really good.
As always Buttons hit the spot! The Sunday Brunch was awesome and my husband had chicken and waffles which are always great! We made reservations and had less than 5 minutes wait! Great service! Will definitely be returning soon!
Loyal Full Attention Band featuring Paul Cannon fans who decided to come out and support the guys. Also the food and drinks was outstanding our server Sean was excellent he took care of us. We met the owner/ operator and had a pleasant conversation outside on the patio.
We enjoyed the food, service, and ambiance. The band that was playing was really good, too. Looking forward to going back.
Worst experience! I have visited this restaurant several times over the years and it has been great! It has been a year or so since I’ve visited and I must say, it has gone down hill! We made a reservation for 9:15pm and there was chaos at the hostess stand. People who had made reservations had been waiting more than an hour to be seated, which made my husband and I nervous. Our wait was about 30min but there was some confusion when it came to our table. The hostess left us standing in the middle of the dining area without instruction. My husband and moved over to the wall and out of the way. We waited for about 5-7min as they tried to figure out the issue. We thought about being seated as we only came for the live music and peach cobbler to close out our date night. After being seated we were greeted by our server who seemed as though she was rushed. It took a while for her to bring our water and we quickly ordered our cobbler in fear of her rushing away. She brought the cobbler after 10min and dropped it on the table as if she had an attitude. We noticed there was no ice cream on it so it took another 10min to flag her down to ask why. She then informed us that the ice cream machine was broken and had been for about 2 weeks. I’m from the south so peach cobbler isn’t the same without ice cream. Why couldn’t she tell us that when we ordered?! I asked for a box and the check and we left. The cobbler was great once I got home and put ice cream on it! Unless something changes, we will not be back.
While the new jazz band, Natural Change, was excellent and food was good, the service was lacking
Would like to see a cut off for children. It seems strange to see kids in the restaurant at 10:00 pm listening to live music.
We chose to spend our 25th Wedding Anniversary here. The food is amazing. Sean was our waiter and he took care of us like family. The music was provided by the group Natural Change. I could not have picked a better place to celebrate.
Avoid on weekdays
Delicious food, great ambiance and stellar service & entertainment!
Great music and atmosphere, just didn’t enjoy the food.
Good. Just good
Our visit to this restaurant was very disappointing. The food that we ordered was cold, and we did not order off of the buffet. We had to send our food back to request fresh food. The waitress had an attitude and did not seem to want to refill our glasses while walking by us several times. They’ve been better before, but the food and bad service ruined our Father’s Day meal. I’m not sure that we will return back to this restaurant as there are too many options to settle for something this.
I made my Reservation for 11:30 and when I got there at 11:30 they told me that where I wanted to set it was taken already by the customers that was waiting at 10:30. I put in my request where I would like to set, I even told the lady that called me to confirm my reservation. Why do you have reservations if you do not honor the request . I was very unhappy. All the reservations you set that day at was not honored, because another person came in with reservations and she was told the same thing and she had to sit and wait. What kind of service is that. Next time I think I will make my reservations at another venue.
Overall experience was good but I did witness a physical altercation with staff. Management handled the situation well.
Nothing negative to say , overall a wonderful experience . Great Food, sexy Music and nice ambiance.
As always the food was great. The service was extremely horrible and 3 things we attempted to order they were out of. Even though the food is always amazing, customer service and politeness is more important to me
The food was great and the service was good. will be back.
The brunch was delicious. There was a good variety of foods, fruit and dessert. We enjoy the ambiance at Buttons. The greens are off the chain!
Button's never disappoints. I have had the Sunday brunch countless times and leave miserable from overeating every time. Great staff, great food, you don't feel rushed and everything is fresh. No matter how much I eat, I manage to save room for warm peach cobbler. Go to Button's, run to Button's, slide into Button's. However you get here you will roll out with a full stomach.
The best Chicken and Waffles! Live music definitely tops off the experience!
I would recommend this restaurant. Seated upon arrival, pleasant service with personality, Our waitress Latosha was the best" hands down" she very attentive, always with a smile, very personable and very efficient. It was on Saturday evening (6/9/18) and it was excellent. The food was beyond excellent and the atmosphere was perfect. Lively and romantic. , price was great. The restaurant itself is a gem. My wife and i travel alot. Atlanta, Miami , California Houston Kansas and carolina, just to name a few places but I highly recommend Buttons Food and Music in Forth-Worth.
Every chance I get to enjoy Buttons I do .
Good Food and even better service. Our Server, Kenneth, was spot on. Good conversation and excellent guest service. Certainly a credit to your establishment. Food was tasty. Salmontine was my choice...grilled salmon over a bed of pan fried potatoes and creamed spinach with artichokes. Delicious. My friend enjoyed the pot roast. Music was excellent...big Jazz fan here. I'll be back for sure.
Absolutely outstanding!!! Food, atmosphere and service was spectacular!!!
We came from out of town (6 hrs away) to eat there for my mothers 82nd birthday. Was disappointed after we got there when staff told us they could not sing "Happy Birthday" song to our mother after we were specifically told at the time of booking our reservations they would sing Happy Birthday to her.
Chicken is very good... get the fried chicken ***
There were no ox tails. However, service was excellent and music nice. A little loud but nice. Salmon was good too
“Z” is the best waitress and we look forward to her each time we visit. Pricing is a bit high, but overall its a nice outing.
Granted the food was super fantastic and the band was great...The band started 1 hour late...played 3 songs and took an hour break!!! It too would be wonderful if when the band is on break...the music played is cohesive to that of the band....
`Night went BAD AFTER being ask to leave by HOSTESS. Saying our table was reserved for another guest. I also had placed RESERVATION for my table. We were charged for LIVE BAND sur-charge fee but not able to enjoy our night out because of bring ask to leave.
We went there for a 20th Anniversary. I had stated this on my reservation, but the restaurant was not aware of it. We then told the waiter we were celebrating an anniversary; he had us write it down and he took it to the band. To me a 20th Anniversary is huge!! When the band announced it, she just said Happy Anniversary (and mentioned my in-laws names), did not mention it was the 20th etc... I know a big deal can't be made about every requested announcement or celebration, but I felt more of a celebratory announcement would have been better suited. A song dedicated to celebration would have taken it above and beyond.
Waiter was horrible, instead of serving was flirting with my guest, spilled hot sauce all over me.. waffles was cold on a $20 entrée--- made reservations back in May for birthday could not see stage---- was seated late-- reservation was for 8 PM--- and not in front of band.. not sure if I Will never book an outing here again!!!!!!!!!
My first time to this location. I’ve been to the one in Addison and DeSoto. There wasn’t as much energy here as it was at the other 2 locations. The food was not as good as the other 2 locations, need a little bit more seasoning. But our waitress was good and friendly. Seemed as no one was feeling the band. I hope to come back when I’m in the city again and give it another try.
Great experience! Food and entertainment was good and our server Tasha was awesome! Wonderful place to have a good meal with good music. Will definitely return!!
Good food , good fun...live music is always in order...and it was very good
I made a 7pm reservation for 8 for Mother's Day through OpenTable, but turns out they closed at 7pm. Shouldn't have been able to make the reservation if closing early. I received a confirmation text Saturday afternoon and confirmed it. At this point I should I have been notified by phone. While sitting in the parking lot of Button's Sunday evening, I received a phone call. I did not answer, but upon going in, I was told by the hostess that they had just called me. At this point, again, I should've been notified about the early closing. A table was available, as the restaurant was nearly empty. The waitress came and got our drink orders. When she returned with our drinks, she informed us that the brunch buffet was available all day (??), but they hadn't replenished it and everything was scarce and a bit dry.
This is how I found out about the 7pm closing, because at this point I still don't know about it! It was 6:57, and I saw that HH was over AT 7pm. I rushed to the bar for a drink. He said HH was all day. I went back to my seat bc I figured there was no rush since it was all day HH. The waitress returned and I told her I didn't know HH was all day. She said, that it was all day until 7...that 's when we close! We all looked at each other for a moment. She said the kitchen was closed as well, but they could still make our food. We were able to get one drink in from the bar, but we decided to leave and find somewhere else to have dinner. On MOTHER'S DAY....THIS was NOT okay! Very disappointed in Button's.
Terrible! They took a 6:15 Reservation when they close at 7:00. No one at hostess stand, staff was ready to leave, hostess appeared from the back flustered, would not make eye contact. Once we finally got seated, the waitress was honest enough to tell us that we probably don’t want any of the food on the buffet since it’s been sitting around for so long. We didn’t realize the full menu was not available for dinner. We made a good choice by getting up and leaving at that point. I don’t think we will be returning.
We were so very disappointed in the Mother's Day Brunch. The food was just barely mediocre. We have been here one other time and ordered off the menu and got great service and good food. This time when we got the bill it was $112 for 4 buffets which were on the menu for $21. When we asked the waitress she said "Oh it's $28 for Mother's Day". Way to raise the price (and not tell anyone) and provide lesser quality! My 28 year old daughter even said "Ya'll need to find a different place, that was no more than a $15 brunch." We won't be back!!
