   This was joke...the first thing to come up when googling button down is a place to reserve a table. So that’s exactly what I did I reserved a table for me and my friends at 9 as that was the latest availability they had. I called the next day to confirm the reservation and ask about any guidelines, ie, how long did I have the table, did it cost money to reserve, and if anything was included or if this was a simple table reservation like at a restaurant. Well days go by I hear nothing so I call twice more and again NOTHING. Now on the day of my event my friends and I show up to the club WAY too early for a club but since that was the time on the reservation so be it. I ask to speak to someone about Table reservations and I’m directed to Jenny. Well Jenny did not have my reservation and didn’t even know you could reserve one through OpenTable. WHAT?? How is that even possible. I explain it’s the first thing to come up when googling and show her my confirmation email. That is when she proceeds to tell me she doesn’t know where that phone number in the Open Table app leads and that she’s in fact been booked out for weeks. She tells me she had tables on the other side of the bar Button Up but those tables required a $350 tab and weren’t on the side I wanted. I’m so confused as to how a company launches themselves on a reservations site like this and their booker doesn’t even know it exists!!! I feel like with how easy it was to reserve a nonexistent table I couldn’t possibly be the first. I decided not to settle for their $350 dollar table and left instead going anywhere else that knew what they were doing. If they are going to allow you to book tables in a matter of seconds then they should at least know what is going on. I really expected better service after realizing the mistake and am disappointed that when they had tables open they didn’t try and accommodate my friends and I. Instead they left the tables empty in hopes someone else would pay.

   Terrible staff and I didn’t even get to eat their food since they didn’t tell me where to get the table for my reservation way to treat a birthday boy.

   We got there very early because we had to get to a concert, so the place was empty. They knew nothing about a reservation from Open Table, so that whole system doesn't work at all. Luckily it was no problem getting a table right away. The food was very good. We didn't have much time to stay, only about an hour and 15 minutes total which they were very good at accommodating our need to rush. Sometimes places take offense when you tell them you are in a hurry. But everyone was very nice. We would go again.
