My fiancé and I both got terribly sick after our meals, we got completely different meals but both ended up ill. Service and all else was great however after this I do not see us returning.

A bit slow service upon arrival. But Butter horns are perfect bread, salad with granola strawberries and shallots was different but really good (I will duplicate)Walleye cakes delicious tomato bisque great, spaghetti was good, short rib burger was a bit overcooked like well done but good flavor (would’ve been perfect if medium), I took salmon to go and it was delicious! Overall really good cooking. I will visit when I’m gone again.

We had out of state guests visiting & scheduled brunch reservations online. We all enjoyed a wonderful meal, pleasant staff and a fun, relaxing experience. Butterhorn’s is always a win-win!

Food was excellent as was the service. My Margarita was a bit odd tasting but they use OJ which was not good for me but the did bring me another without the OJ. Bottom line food was great.

Great dinner and service at this local Bismarck spot! Tuna Tartar, Walleye cakes, soup and salads all on-point. My one critique — an Oregon Chardonnay from Willamette really should not be described as Bourgogne.

I love this place. It’s old building, clean and modern decor is beautiful as well as comfortable. The staff are attentive and thorough. The food is carefully prepared and full of flavor. The butterhorn rolls are so fresh-the very best!

First I want to say I don’t review restaurants often. Secondly, I’m from Chicago and have a high standard for good food. When my wife suggested a good brunch on our last day of our roadtrip I scoffed at the idea of wasting any time since we had 12 hrs to drive still, but she insisted I wouldn’t be disappointed. She was MORE than right. The butterhorns and their accompaniment were amazing. A not-to-be-missed item. Homemade jam, icing, and cinnamon butter were a perfect match for the warm buttery goodness. We also tried the seasonal coffee cake which was awesome! My son got the biscuits and gravy which were scored as the best he had ever gotten and he gets them a lot. My wife had the Cali Benny. An absolute dream of eggs Benedict with a creative flare of avocados. I chose the corned beef hash. I have never had anything like it before. It was tender, flavorful, and filling. The potato hash with carrots included was something special. The waitress, host, and manager were all attentive, polite, and professional. If you are in the area, this is a must try! I hope I come back through Bismarck someday to experience this restaurant again. I may have to detour just so I don’t miss it.

The food was expertly prepared, the ambience was wonderful. There was a great energy in the restaurant. We don’t have any food like that anywhere else and Bismarck the wait staff was amazing.

I enjoyed a fabulous, decadent brunch that included the fantastic orange cream lefse (naturally gluten free!) and a generously-sized pair of slightly sweet and spicy house-made sausage patties. The ambiance and decor was delightful, including high, white, pressed tin ceilings and a beautiful carved wood bar. The staff was super friendly and attentive. This place is a gem.
