Our food was cold which was odd since there was only two tables dining. Entrees were amazingly delicious. Great service. Sugar cookies for dessert were too hard for my liking. They do a great job at meeting the covid dining restrictions for everyone’s health :)

First time here - Ashley was great - so attentive , knew her menu, checked in often to see how meal was! We were only ones there for a bit - very covid safe !!! Clean.
The meal was delicious. Caesar salad was to die for ! The short rib- tasty and fell apart beautifully
Fish tacos were spot on- perfectly cooked and yummy

Food and service very good. Great neighborhood spot though would love to see a burger on the menu to go with those truffle fries.

We highly recommend this restaurant; we’ve been here a couple times for dinner and we also celebrated our wedding dinner here. The owner and staff are AMAZING! They go above and beyond to make sure their guests are happy and satisfied, more than satisfied!!! The food is incredibly delicious! The staff are so kind, so amazing!
One doesn’t find a place like this easily, as great as Buttercup! So, go eat at Buttercup and enjoy the food, the place, and the service. They are excellent, excellent, excellent, excellent!!!!!!!

The smell from the kitchen was so strong, 3 days later my clothes still smell like cooked food. Bottle of wine starts at $65!!! but the place is not white tablecloth restaurant.

I always enjoy the food and atmosphere at Buttercup. We ate outside but I always find it quiet enough to talk inside. We loved everything we ordered and our waitperson was great. I recommend Buttercup all the time and have bought Gift Cards for clients who bought homes in the area.

The food here is always amazing and the service is even better. We started with the arancini and Buttercup salad which we loved. The fish tacos are the best in town, and the halibut was great as well. The food is all so fresh and you can tell it was prepared in-house. Love this place!

We ate outside so the ambiance and noise were different from being inside. The food was excellent as was our waitress.

Chicken is incredibly moist and fish tacos are fresh and tasty. Overall the food is outstanding!!

Pasta bolognese, and the short rib entree were delicious. Tried the Arancino to start which was tasty. Had a couple of nice cocktails and some red wine. Will be going back soon.

Only issue was $3.00 charge for not fresh bread plus butter.

Delicious food in a covid friendly environment!

Interesting menu. I had the mussels (outstanding), endive salad (good ) and sprouts (good). We shared the arancini starter (very good). A fun place to go with a nice sized patio and plenty of heaters. Great for sharing!

One of our favorite places. Staff is amazing and food/drink is fantastic.

Superb service and great food... what could be better? We started with a couple drinks and the charcuterie board... fish tacos and chicken with green, potatoes and carrots followed. God was well-prepared and tasty. A wonderful experience.

Love the outdoor seating. The menu is varied and excellent. Atmosphere is great aside from an occasional loud truck that rumbles by on the street nearby. Sharing a dessert with my spouse was a great ending to the meal.

The food is consistently good. The service is consistently lacking. Everything else: menu, price, ambiance is good enough to overcome the choppy service which is why I continue to go back.

Outside dining was so great! Heat lamps, well-distanced from others and great set up. The staff was amazing. Food is always delicious but it tasted even better since we haven't been out a lot during Covid. Go before it gets too cold. Such a great night out.

This was our first dinner at Buttercup and we will be back. Fast, pleasant service. Food was great. We sat outside and we were close enough to the heater to be warm enough. Highly recommend Buttercup for great food in the Western suburbs.

Our first time to Buttercup and we loved it! Large outdoor patio with table spacing and protocols in place for covid restrictions. Our server was excellent, prompt, knowledgeable and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious - the halibut may very well be the best I have ever had! We are thrilled to have dined at Buttercup and can’t wait to go back, and/or get takeout sometime!

Amazing service which always makes dining out better- the food- from apps to desert were all amazing and flavorful. Presentation was flawless, wine delicious.
