Lovely little restaurant in the Poconos. Consistently great food and friendly attentive service. Everyone enjoyed theirs salads and entrees and we had a lovely time visiting with a dear friend. We tend to get a bit carried away when they aren’t slammed as it’s such a comfortable place, that we chat and enjoy the food and lose track of time. Thank you Butter fir yet another lovely evening.

Lovely little spot in canadensis Drinks at the bar were terrific, try the cherry jam, old-fashioned We had the pork chop, which was delicious, and the veal chop, which was terrific. The girls both had the Bronzino, which was very good, but I would have liked it better if it were T-bones in the kitchen or at the table side, but the flavor was great. We will return.

What a charming place! Quirky, like the rest of the Poconos. Amazing service from the waitstaff, who were so kind as I was dining alone. Grilled Caesar was really good, burger was cooked perfectly - could have used a bit less mushroom topping. Hand cut fries - delicious. Highly recommend!

We made a reservation which was great, because that's literally the first thing that was asked, which was a little irritating. Only because there was no "Hi, how are you or anything just do you have a reservation" after being seated our experience was great, service was excellent and food was delicious. Would definitely return.

Mark is exceeding expectations these days!! The salmon with kale and red lentils was out of this world. Bruce had the pork chop which was succulent and beautifully cooked. Drinks and wine sooo good! We’ll be back soon!!!

Butter was excellent! Chef Mark did a wonderful job. We had the cod special and the lobster pasta with fresh peas. Both meals were delicious. We started a sushi flatbread which could have been a stand alone entree. Our server was delightful providing just enough information. Try a cherry sour as an aperitif! Too full for desert but they had some nice options. We will be beach!

Just as delightful as our first visit. My wife had the crab stuffed sole and she loved it. The Avocado and Tuna tartare was good but not great. However chef made up for that by making the Peas and Lobster Cream pasta even better than the first time. Drinks and service were once again delightful. Thanks Butter for a lovely evening.

The server was excellent at explaining food items, especially as someone in our party is gluten free. The noise level can get a bit tough for conversations when the place is packed but overall the vibe was really nice

It’s very small so any group of people adds to the noise level AND also makes reservations a must. But what a wonderful restaurant in an out of the way part of the Poconos. Grilled Caesar salad was superb and both the Baked Shrimp and Lobster & Peas with pasta were wonderful. Compliments to the chef, his wife the hostess and the bartender who provided perfect cocktail. As we are very new to the region, I can say right now that this will be a regular spot. Not a thing I would change.

Although the food was relatively good, the service was very slow. This is a small restaurant but it seemed as if they had one chef for everyone. It took over an hour to receive our meal. Unlike other restaurants though, they were happy to let us share our dinners. There is not a lot of choice in this area, so if time is not important, I would have dinner here.

We had a wonderful meal. The food was creative and well prepared. Our server was very nice and was trying to do his best. But you had the feeling it was his first night. I can forgive that.

The servers were very nice and attentive. The food took almost an hour between ordering and tableside which I feel is way too long for a restaurant which was less than one third full on a Saturday holiday weekend. The veal chop which was proposed and agreed to be cooked to medium was fully blood rare I think it still had a pulse. I spent $230 on a bad dinner. Never again Butter.

Food was delicious. My stake special was cooked exactly as requested. The sushi pizza was an unexpected huge hit, would definitely order again. Making the reservation online was super easy. We'll go again.

Chef Mark's creations are amazing. Everything is so delicious and the presentation is perfect! I had the Butter burger, which is the best burger I've ever had. My husband had the pimento burger on Texas toast, and raved about its flavor. Our daughter had the pasta with lobster, served with more lobster than we've ever gotten while dining in Maine! Cocktails were spot on and the wine an beer list satisfied all. In addition, the breakfasts (if your wise enough to stay at the host Frogtown Inn) are unbelievable!! What a lovely and hospitable place.
