As usual the food was outstanding, however this is the first time I would say the service was only okay. The restaurant was very busy for a Sunday night but having to wait 30 minutes after being seated to get a drink was a little disappointing. Our server was friendly and helpful but seemed to have too many tables to deal with. I still give the restaurant high marks and will definitely be back again.

We’ve been here in the past and our experience before was really good. However this place is very expensive. We recently went for Valentine’s Day. I put in a reservation in the Beginning of December.. when we showed up they stuck us at literally the closest table to the entry door, so we kept getting bursts of cold air. This was very disappointing to me seeing as how early I was to put in my reservation and still get a crappy seat. Then we got our food. Girlfriends filet Minton was burnt on the outside and my steak was rather tough to chew and cut. When you spend over $100 on just two mediocre size steaks that kind of quality is rather disappointing.

Visiting Mnpls for weekend. Great meal at Butcher and the Boar. Bone Marrow App was great. My wife’s scallops looked like they should have been on a magazine cover. My NY Strip was great.

Prices are high but.... the level of service by the server and his assistant was amazing.

Very easy to find, just across the street from Buca. There’s a large bar area where it is very loud. The main dining area gives a look into the kitchen area. Service was team oriented and well done. We always have the sausage sampler to start and that could be an entree for most. I had the salmon special and my husband had the pork chop. Large portions and more than enough to fill you up. Must try the fries. Great experience and will keep coming back.

My husband and I tried both of the butcher's cut special that they provided on Saturday night and all I have to say is hands down this was the best steak we've ver had. It was a 40 day dry age rib eye with baby carrots and Brussels sprouts that stole the show that night for us. Every bite tasted like melted butter in our mouth. This piece of steak was HUGE! The proportions are huge with their main entree. We were so stuffed and had to pack our food home and this was without even ordering appetizers. It was really pricey but because of the streak being so amazing, the experience out weighed the cost. Definitely going back for another date night.

The food was very good, the dishes were simple but deeply complex with spices and seasoning. The mushrooms tasted good, the long rib was soft and plentiful. Risotto with salmon was to die for. The noise level was fairy loud, a lot of were there, so its to be expected. Service kind of slow, most regretful thing to say is they forgot my request for my anniversary.

Both the food and the service were outstanding. A member of our group had a food allergy and our server, Michael, was super attentive in making sure she knew which dishes she could eat and which ones to stay away from. My dinner was one of the best pieces of steak I've ever eaten.

Food is awesome. Servers are quick and attentive. The porterhouse was enough for 4 moderately hungry guys to share with an appetizer. You won't be disappointed.
