Had an amazing experience during dinner for my birthday! Wally was amazing! We had an amazing time and really enjoyed the food and portions. We had a later reservation but that didn’t take away from the service, food or overall experience. I will definitely be back!

they play really bad covers of hit songs at astronomical levels of volume. bold and audacious choice of music considering the unsatisfactory quality of food. there was more pomegranate than foie gras on the foie gras toast. second class vibe and poor food quality all leads to an unpleasant dining experience.

Took my kids for a classic Chicago steakhouse experience, and the Butcher and the Bear did not disappoint. The meatball appetizer and focaccia with beef tallow candle were fabulous. Steaks were cooked perfectly, and the bone in strip special was exquisite. The chocolate cake for dessert capped off a perfect evening.

The food and service were great and the cocktails were fun and delicious. One of the best steakhouses I’ve been too in a long time.

Great meal. Steak cooked well. I liked the pre sliced option. Loved the seafood salad. Our server, Katherine B, was wonderful.
