   On 5/26/2023, we arrived for 5:30 reservation and was taken to first table at the open entrance door. Asked to be seated anywhere else at this approx. 20% occupancy time, the hostess said that that was our assigned table. After asking again to be reseated, we were taken to the furthest table in the corner of the floor. We watched the seating of subsequent patrons and found no persons being “assigned” at the entrance table. This was the first time that profiling or age discrimination seemed to be apparent to us, since the prevalent age and family activity level was in 20’s thru 40’s, groups of with whom we frequently associate. We are an active mid-seventies couple and were quite surprised at this situation. On a positive note, our server was delightful and we appreciated her service and attention.

   The wait staff did an amazing job, they also followed my request from my reservation booking (bring champagne to the table upon arrival) which was a lovely addition to our anniversary dinner. Wait staff was awesome, and knowledgeable about my gluten allergy. They kept our drinks fresh and did a wonderful job of checking in on us while not hovering around the table, our waitress in particular did a great job of visually checking in and reading the conversation at the table to know when to hop in and check on us vs. let us continue chatting uninterrupted. The food was lovely, and I found some of the dishes to have a unique flavor profile which was great!

   Overall, great atmosphere and the food was good, great service. Wish they had more options with regard to gluten free, given the price for food. I had the burger and it was really salty, couldn’t eat the whole thing. I would give it another try though, it was a cool place.

   Great meal of burgers, salads and a catfish sandwich. Drinks are unique and delish. Especially the Negroni. Service was on point and dessert was delish.

   High Top Table was very uncomfortable for a senior disabled with a bad back and hostess Saud she would not change our table. However, 2 people who came in after us sat down at table next to us and were changed to a regular table..manager said he did not have another table for us! Go figure. Food was delicious though!

    We had an absolutely fantastic Mother's Day Brunch at Butcher and Barrel. The Pork Belly, Shrimp and Eggs was fantastic! There was so much flavor going on that I didn't want it to end. Everyone else at the table had the Popcorn Chicken and Waffles. They all said the chicken was perfectly cooked but that the breading could have used more flavor. The service was also fantastic. This was the second year we have eaten Mother's Day Brunch here, and we will be back for a third.

    This was my first time at a True Blue location and the first time for my partner at this specific True Blue location. The food, the service, the server (Katy), and the variety of food were all excellent! I recall leaving full and very happy and satisfied with the experience at True Blue.     Decided to try this location for my bday dinner and they did not disappoint. Our server Michael was the greatest and very knolwegable on the drink and food menus. I decided to order something out of my norm which was the bacon cheeseburger. Literally the best burger ever as it was was cooked to perfection. I will be returning soon.

    My son and I (he is 2) have turned this into our Wednesday father/son dinner spot. Service is exceptional and the food is great. But it isn’t just great for $5/burger night. This is one of my favorite spots in town for any occasion

    Ordered Steak Frits. Meat was overcooked. Waitress said they would bring another steak cooked medium rare as ordered. When the replacement steak finally arrived, my dinner guest had finished his entire meal and I finished my salad and fries already. Replacement steak was still overcooked but I ate it anyway. French fries were served cold. Dinner partner had to wait for replacement fries which came promptly and were hot unlike my steak. Overall very disappointing meal.     One of Wilmington's best places for burgers. Way cool ambiance, attentive waitstaff. This was a business lunch, so no alcohol, but the bar is awesome.

    Hostess was polite and seated us right in time. Our server was extremely busy but he was still attentive and provided excellent service. I must say the sautéed mushrooms were outstanding and there is a great local beer selection too. We have dined here before and have enjoyed the smash burger special. This time our burgers lacked flavor ( less bacon?) and the buns were dry. My burger in particular only had a few shreds of lettuce and virtually no sauce. I hate sending anything back so I ate it with 1/2 the bun. We’ll try again and will go later in the evening. Perhaps the rush at 6:30 had something to do with it. Again, it was still a good experience. Great place and service.

    We had an amazing time celebrating my guy’s birthday! Ashley gave us amazing service and kept us laughing. She was very busy but took extremely good care of us and made sure to take the time to explain the menu to us. We will be back when we’re in Wilmington. Highly recommend. We had filet mignon, tostones, herb salad, and bacon cheddar Mac. So so good!

    Service was terrible. Waite 45 minutes for 3 hamburgers and it wasn't that busy. Asked to have the appetizer brought out with the main course and they brought it out first. We sent it back, then waited 30 minutes for the burgers. We asked to see the manager and he never showed. This was not the first time the service was sub-par. Don't think I will return.

    Service was extremely disappointing. One of the cocktails ordered had a strong fishy smell which was odd but the server provided no resolution and almost argued. Expected more of a fine dining experience but maybe they were short staffed.The food was really good.

    The food was excellent. Crab cakes and steak and eggs. Yum. Beautifully plated. Cooked perfectly. Restaurant is nicely decorated, super clean, open environment. Music was louder than I would expect in a restaurant, but it did not detract from the experience. Waiter was fantastic and attentive. I plan to visit regularly.

    Have a meal here! You won't regret it. From the second we arrived, we felt welcomed, AND that was with a cranky 9 yo in tow! Our server (he name fails me) was superb! She was attentive, kind, knowledge, patient....as well as the hosts. We arrived half an hour early and they sat us immediately (this is a BUSY spot on a beautiful Saturday evening as well). We had the bone marrow, steak fries, bok choy, bacon mac and cheese, the seafood cocktail, and a burger for our 9 yo. HOLY MOLY! It was all delicious! Like, I was pretty blown away about the quality of the food and the overall experience. My husband ordered an old fashioned, and was asked if he'd like it smoked. He opted for the smoked cocktail. I am not a bourbon girl at all, and I tell you, that drink was amazing. Have dinner here.
