Buster's Place Restaurant is an oyster bar and restaurant that serves up great, market fresh seafood and other dishes with some Cajun flair. There are a range of options on the Buster's Place Restaurant's menu including apps, soups and salads and mains.
The place to start at Buster's Place Restaurant is some of the shucked gulf oysters, fresh or grilled. Apps include onion rings, mozzarella sticks or the jumbo wings. Big salads include a Gulf shrimp and crawfish tail and the grilled yellow fin tuna. Mains range from the catfish filet platter and Cajun crawfish etouffee, to baby back ribs and grilled sirloin.
First time to try Buster's in Covington. Liked everything about it from the front to the back. Friendly staff, full of smiles and laughter. Prompt with serving, timely prep of food and the taste was "out of this world". Could not have gone anywhere that would have matched up to a terrific lunch with family.
Outstanding as always, such a fun place to be...good food, fun enjoyable overall a good time to have
Charcoal oysters great! Service was fast and friendly
Good food! Great service!! So much fun! Wonderful specials.
Definitely would go again if I was in the area. Great Oysters, friendly staff, good service.
The restaurant is cold during the winter. When I mentioned it to the server she said "Well, it's an old building"
Busters was indeed an experience.
But not a great experience!
I had the oysters, grilled, and they were dry and rubbery,
with cheese , butall without much taste. The
Food was generally too spicy & overall mediocre..
Service was good.
We enjoyed the Fried Catfish, dinner salad was a disappointment.
I lived in New Orlans from 1961 to 1972 off of Franklin Av Busters is like the ones around where i lived GREAT the Wife and I loved it I told our son who was with us BUSTERS IS LIKE OLD OLD NEW ORLANS
EVERYTHING WAS GREAT, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF OUR BEER MUGS, THEY WERE NOT FROZEN OR EVEN COLD, AS YOU WOULD EXPECT IN A SEAFOOD RESTAURANT. THE GRILLED OYSTERS WERE SO TINY I HAD TO SQUINT TO SEE A FEW OF THEM. THE OYSTERS ON THE SEAFOOD PLATTER WERE MUCH BIGGER, HOWEVER SOME WERE OVERCOOKED. OTHER THAN THESE FEW ISSUES, EVERYTHING ELSE WAS FANTASTIC. THE FRIED CATFISH WAS AWESOME, AS WERE THE SHRIMP! ALL OF THE DESERTS WERE TO DIE FOR, ESPECIALLY THE CHEESE CAKE! OVERALL, I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT.
