Best campfire old fashioned! Food is great
No place is perfect but your place was outstanding.
The entrees we all ordered were creative and very good. Service was very good. Did not feel rushed. Restaurant ambiance was relaxed, open and airy.
Delicious food and nice atmosphere. Will go back to try other items on the excellent menu.
Restaurant week menu was great! Loved the deviled eggs with smoked salmon and the braised beef was very tender and huge. My wife enjoyed the scallops. Too much for us so we took dessert home (after eating the ice cream)!
Enjoyed the restaurant week menu. Great choices, great food!
Beef short ribs. Beef short ribs. Beef short ribs.
Food was really well prepared. This was my first visit, and we’ll be back.
Wine list could use some work, though. Choices were few and quality lacking.
Food was meh, but the service was awesome.
My first time at Bushel and a Peck snd it was a great dining experience. I found the menu had a wide range of selections and my meal was delicious.
Great experience with really nice outside seating
Despite several open and already set tables, we were taken to a dirty table. The hostess immediately noticed and went back to identify which of the 4 or more clean tables were available for seating. We waited several minutes. The server came over quickly, but we were not yet ready to order drinks, so she went away and did not return for at least 10 minutes. We ordered drinks, which proclaimed fresh lime juice but were clearly made with bottled sour mix that tasted terrible. We tried to drink the cocktails but could not. The server took our appetizer order and answered questions about the menu. We then ordered sandwiches (which were delicious— the rib eye dip and the shrimp salad sandwich). Our sandwiches arrived before the appetizer, which we clearly no longer desired. All in all, a fail for our first highly anticipated visit to Bushel and a Peck.
It was restaurant week. Crowded and service was slow. All food was spectacular. Perfectly seared scallops on a bed of corn, bacon and potatoes. Calamari was crisp and fresh. Dessert was a fresh peach and blueberry cake with ice cream that tasted as good as my grandma used to make! I can’t wait to go there again .
We had the restaurant week specials. The short rib was fork tender, and the scallops were large and tender. The mashed potatoes were excellent. The corn and potato hash was outstanding. The calamari was crisp with nice dipping sauce, and the deviled eggs with smoked salmon were a blend of deliciousness. Our waiter was prompt and courteous despite being quite busy.
Bushel and a peck was so cozy! The food was good and the place looks amazing, favorite new spot in clarksville.
Where to start. Our server was uninterested in being an actual server.
The drinks took forever. The margaritas were good. Just took forever. The menu makes no sense. I can buy a half pound of shrimp for cheaper then adding shrimp to a dish. Which makes no sense.
The chicken and waffles dish is a mess. Who needs mashed potatoes with chicken and waffles?
The shrimp po boy was good. The chicken sandwich is ok. The shrimp salad sandwich was good.
Overall the service is what brought everything down. Not the first time this is the case. In the back room there are no blinds so the sun is right in your eyes.
To me it looks like an owner with lots of money but no actual plan on how to run a restaurant and how to properly train the staff.
Won’t be back and will be telling all my friends the same. So much potential just lack of execution.
I moved out of state 10 years ago and this place made me SO nostalgic for all things Maryland, due to the fab decor. It was my first time dining here and the atmosphere was relaxing, modern, and just so enjoyable. We ate off the Restaurant Week menu (tried one of everything) and it was well worth it for the price. Great drink selection and amazing food!
Crab cake entree is the best!!!
We reserved an outdoor table, we were seated right away even though we arrived a bit early. Our server was great, she checked on us and recommended some great dishes. Overall a wonderful experience!
Wanted to enjoy our evening. Unfortunately we watched our appetizers get served to another table. While the other table ate our food, without paying for it, we sat hungry. Service was pretty slow and was blamed on young and inexperienced food runners. The table that ate well mistook this restaurant as a loud bar scene and was yelling, singing, and stomping their feet pretty loudly the entire evening. Needless to say, we Had to change our table (as did several other guests). Would have made more sense if the rude party were asked to quiet down or leave. We frequent another restaurant owned by this one and I’m pretty disappointed in our overall experience. Won’t be going back.

We ordered the 6 oz. Crab Cake, Onion Soup and Seared Rare Yellowfin Tuna Nicoise Salad. All were very tasty. Only criticism was the price of the Crab Cake. Understand that prices are currently up for crab meat, but at $35 it still seemed overpriced for what we got. That said, it was good and solidly mostly crab meat.
It was our first time eating there and I would definitely go back. Great ambience and style with plenty of outdoor seating. On a beautiful night, it was hard to beat. Good service by Sabrina who was attentive but not intrusive. My Po Boy was delicious as was my friend's burger. Good fries, always a must and they didn't disappoint. My specialty cocktail was very good as was the beer selection. I will dine there again.
We sat outdoors and it was the perfect weather a great view.
We have become regulars at Bushel and a Peck and maybe last nights experience could be viewed as a “bad day.” At any rate, we will never return and encourage the countless people we have influence over to never go to this restaurant either. We arrived five minutes before our reservation and were led to a dirty table by a hostess who laughed it off and said she would fix it and seat us. 20 minutes later we are still standing and observe other people who seem to have some special privilege escorted to a table and the justification was, “they don’t mind sitting at a dirty table.” Meanwhile they are seated a table that gets wiped down while we stand there and are gaslighted to believe this is normal.
We asked the hostess to see the manager and she responds “there’s no manager working today.” I said “You’re telling me no one is in charge here?” She replies back “Well the owner is here.” I said “Can I speak to him then?” About ten minutes later the manager comes to us and invalidates the way we were treated and takes us to a table where we are never treated with any genuine kindness at all after being mishandled in such a disgusting way. Our food was not good. It wasn’t hot. Order was messed up and I watched him and his hostesses stand and point at us and laugh. Never again. Awful vibes and I’ll be sure to share this on all my social media accounts.
This place is awesome! We've been back 3 times and each time the food and drinks were incredible. The best drink is their Campfire Old Fashion. It is so smooth and delicious. My wife and I a split on the best menu item. She thinks it's the crab cakes and I can't get enough of the short ribs. We also love the sandwiches. The grilled chicken is very tasty.
Service is very good. Make sure you get a reservation because it will fill up fast!
Great indoor experience!
The food our table was served was all excellent.
While the menu is not huge, everything we ordered was top quality-including the wine.
Our server was excellent, helpful and friendly.
once water was served we assumed the first server was for our table. he didn't come back and another one brought our drinks. after that they both disappeared to then caused us to get up from the table and confront the two and ask "who wants to serve our table". from there is was not a good experience at all and we left feeling disrespected. very disappointed in the service. we should not have had to get up from our table to go to the server stand and ask "who wants to serve us".
Great food and beautiful atmosphere. Service was friendly with good suggestions.
After reading so many positive reviews, we decided to head over to Bushel and a Peck Kitchen & Bar tonight. We were not disappointed!!!!!! Outside dining was awesome! We pretty much had the patio to ourselves! We dined on Shrimp and Grits, Braised Short Ribs and Caesar Salad with Grilled Shrimp. Good Stuff!!!!! Waffle maker was broken so I did not get to try the Chicken and Waffles....but I will be back!!!! We also learned that we could bring our "fur baby" here...so that is a plus! Our server Caleb was awesome....very attentive!!!!! Nothing but positive vibes!!!!!
We sat outside on the second floor above the foot traffic. Our server Sabrina was busy but attentive. Food was excellent. The menu is not very large, our table found the selection was , in a word Yummy.
We plan on returning
It was a terrible meal. Makes me sad because I wanted to like it.
Food was fantastic and a great beer selection!!
Chicken sliders and Campfire Old Fashioned are must haves.
Food and drinks were good and the prices are decent (with the exception of the crab cake at $34!) considering how high restaurant prices are right now but the server was awful. Not attentive at all and just didn’t seem to care to be there.
This was our second visit. We enjoyed our first visit so much we wanted to take my son and his wife for his birthday. There were issues with the beer tap and the wine drink tap so my daughter in law did not get a full drink of Ray of Light but were were charged the full price. My son never got his third beer but it also showed up on our bill. We asked the server about the full charge for the wine drink and he said he would check with the manager- they took 50% off and removed the beer we didn’t receive. I know things like this happen but I think in this case the manager should have walked around to the tables and also comped everyone a drink. I won’t be returning any time soon which is a shame as we were very excited about this place!
Booked outdoor seating for Father's Day, based on great reviews. Went to update reservation to change to indoor seating and opentable showed no openings. Called day of reservation to see if I can change. Was told they would need to see what was available when we showed up. We show up and the place is empty, but very nice. patio was spacious, inside looked good. We are seated in some random section with no other diners, like we were outcasts. Ordered food and took forever to come out. Chicken on the sliders and with waffles was dry and cold like it was overfried and sitting out all day. The short rib was a tiny piece of meat smothered with cheese on top of soggy cold fries. This food was what you would find at 10pm on the boardwalk. Literally sitting under a heatlamp all day. Waitress had us hand her all our dirty plates at the end of the meal. We almost wanted to ask her if we should carry our stuff to the kitchen for her! A couple people were seated near us at the end of the meal and waitress mentioned owner was in. We saw him in the bar area. Surprised he was allowing this food to leave the kitchen. I know times are tough and hard to find good employees, but we paid $100 for food we barely touched and left behind..we must have been there after a large brunch rush hence the bad experience. this may have been a one off bad day, but we won't be back.
We spent Father’s Day at Bushel and a Peck! Food was excellent: crab dip, seafood pasta, Cobb salad and crab cake sandwich. Highly recommend!
Food was excellent from fresh ingredients!
