Please notify open table we did eat at the restaurant sat night. The food was greatbb
Great food, drink and all is typical of Burt & Max's. Surprised to find on St. Patrick's Day, Corned Beef special I ordered was less than expected. The corned beef, even as presented on the plate when served, looked like it was left over. I tried to slice a piece and could hardly get the knife to cut it. It was tough, fatty pieces all around. I sent it back and asked for a different cut from a different piece and was told to expect the same. Cancelled that and ordered something else.
Disappointed that one of the managers did not come by. But I love the place and the food is always great so I will return. The Caesar Salad and Spinach Artichoke appetizers were excellent.
Always our favorite spot. Great food and service. Perfect place to take guests.
Lovely restaurant, excellent service. Fabulous $11.00 lunch, all inclusive. Did not rush our party out.
Pleasant venue but noisy inside. There are outdoor options.
Great value for lunch menu.
Service was good.
Always a fun evening at this restaurant .
The food as well as the service is always good. There is a good selection on the menu for dinner.
Fun place to go for dinner. Great waiter. Food came out perfectly.
Eggplant parmigiana was cut in two slices that were much too thick.the cheese was almost not present.
The fries were heavily salted.
Great server. Delicious food
Server was excellent
Good service. Consistently good food.
First off to day is that we dine here quite often. We are apart of the loyalty program, frequent happy hour, cigar bar and the occasional whiskey tasting. We had family in town from NY and requested a table outside with Joey. It was a little tight but we are family and Joey treats us as family always Food is always delicious. We started with Brussels sprouts , special steak quesadilla, calamari and their onion soup dumplings. For dinner we shared meatloaf, chicken waffles, Korean bowl, a special spicy shrimp and Brussels sprout Caesar salad, salmon and the a carrot cake and 2 slices of peanut butter pie. All followed by cappuccino, espresso and Sambuca which we finished by the fire pit. Can’t say enough about Burt&max, food and Joey.
We went there with high expectations. Every single one was surpassed. Great attention to detail from the maitre Dame to the bar tender to the amazing dishes that Chef Patrick created. Definitely add to your must-try list
My family and I had previously dined at Burt and Max’s and they certainly carry a certain expectation for level of food quality and service. Unfortunately, we had neither at our most recent experience. We dined on a Sunday afternoon as a table of 8. Our server was terrible. Took 20 minutes to get drink orders to the table-water, tea, OJ. Multiple times we had to flag down for refills, never even brought enough silverware. It took an hour to get our food delivered to the table from the time we arrived. We could see it sat in the window 15 minutes as (we were facing the kitchen) before it arrived at our table. By that point, our eggs were petrified by the heat lamp, brussel sprouts were a bowl of mush, one of the steaks was completely rare. A total mess. We asked for the manager who was less than understanding, but did eventually replace some of the eggs, re-fired the steak, and replaced the soggy Brussels. We brought to her attention how slow the food was moving out of the window and noticed she took up carrying out the food to tables from that point on. Although they removed some of the items from the bill, overall the service and food quality we received left much to be desired. Charging the kind of money they do for meals, you expect certain standards as a diner. We will not be going back.
The chef and our server, Paige, were particularly attentive to my food allergy restrictions! As a result, I was able to eat and enjoy my meal without having to worry about having an allergy/asthma attack! All four people in our party loved the food they all ordered!
We made a mistake with reserving with open table - we booked a party of 4 when we were a party of 7- the manager worked very hard snd juggled things around so that we could be accommodated-! Good and service were excellent as well !
This is one of my favorites. Like the atmosphere. but it Use to be friendlier it seems new managers aren’t like the last ones. It takes away from the everyone knows your name atmosphere. The food is usually very good. I order a dish from the specials was disappointed no flavor.
But will always come back because the pluses out way the negatives.
We've eaten here a number of times; the food is good, but it's essentially dressed-up bar food (and pricey at that).
Delish as always! Will definitely be back with friends and family.
Burt and Max's lunch is a really great buy. They offer 11 lunch items for $ 11 including a soft beverage. The selection should satisfy everyone.
Had friends in from out of town. Sunday night, place was packed at 7p. Died down around 9. Well, it is a school night. Service was attentive and food was good. Everyone was satisfied. Drinks are fine and here’s something for everyone. I’ve come with large groups in the past and they are good with seating once everyone is present. Good lighting and huge bar. Would come back.
We come to this restaurant all the time and never had a problem. I don’t know what happened this evening but was not great service food came out Wrong. Service was not so great at the table but when we were at the bar for happy hour earlier everything was excellent.
Always happy when I come to Burt and Max. Service this time was a little slow but waiter had outside and inside tables. Also forgot to remind me to use my rewards card! My bad! Great place we will be back.
When another friend showed up unexpectedly, we were accommodated with absolutely no problem. We truly appreciated the lack of drama!
Enjoyed dining here again with friends.Three out of four of us had hamburgers.Mine was good, just slightly overcooked.Good sweet potatoes fries. Very good friendly service.
It’s fine for a casual bite before a movie or just a lite bite meeting up with friends on the run. Quite noisy and food alright but not great! It was just right for our situation.
Casual dining. Food ok convenient location
had a very delightful experience and will definitely frequent
For bargain hunters (you ladies know who you are...) the 40 cent , 7 course lunch is great. For normal people under 85, it is a good place to have a drink or a beer and a burger or a salad. Best thing is that they take reservations and the hostess at the counter had half a dress on. She was awesome!
We enjoyed a lovely ladies lunch from the 11 for $11 menu. The turkey wraps, the omelet, the grilled cheese with tomato soup, and the burgers were all great. Our only complaint was the music. It seemed louder than normal, it wasn't very pleasing to our group of six, and it was difficult to talk at all. Our server was very good and she didn't seem to mind dividing the checks for us.
FOOD ARRIVED COLD
I have been going here for years. First time I have ever been here for brunch! Fantastic menu and and mimosas and blood Mary’s were great!
Good food, but it is very, very busy on Friday nights. The outside was loud and our poor waiter was really over extended. He was very nice and courteous, but just had a lot going on. It was beautiful outside though, and the food and wine was great!
Unfortunately, although I had requested a nice table, my friend and I sat towards the back of the restaurant by the kitchen. Needless to say I was annoyed but since the restaurant was busy, I did not say anything. The waitress was less than courteous and the food not good. I had been there with my daughter and her family a year ago and the atmosphere and food were much better. That’s why I suggested this restaurant for our lunch.
We chose to sit outside. There is a shady area with umbrellas. Our waiter was very attentive. We chose to eat from the 11 for $11 menu. We had a turkey wrap which was just ok, an eggplant parm sandwich ( the roll, though seedy and delicious didn't belong with eggplant parm)and a burger, hich wad juicy and delicious. Drinks were refilled without us having to track down the waiter. I think I will stick to the burger, or try something from the regular menu.
Grabbed a table outside in the bar area for some drinks and apps before dinner. Having such great conversation, we actually lost track of time & ended up 20mins late for our reservation.
I had dinner with my wife and another couple. They all had a mahi-mahi sandwich and they all enjoyed it, no complaints. I had a Southwest chicken salad that was pretty much a disaster! The chicken was tasteless and extremely over cooked. Their was very little else in my salad. I asked for Xtra salad dressing 3 different times before my request was honored. We frequent Rappaports restaurants on a regular basis but always find this particular restaurant not on par with their other eateries.
Enjoyed what we had for lunch especially the soup. Service was extremely slow.
We asked to be seated outside, the hostess said that all of the tables were reserved. She was not very pleasant and if this was our first time at B and M we would have left.
Great place.... a little noisy
