The atmosphere at Burma Superstar is lively and open, and the long booths are great for large parties who want to get together and socialize. The service was excellent and friendly. The food was kind of lackluster. I've eaten here before and it was fine. I may go elsewhere for a 20 plus dollar salad.

I reserved a table for 3 a week in advance for a business dinner. However, when we arrived they only offered communal seating. Many other tables were empty but they said the tables were reserved. I wish we could have had a more private table.

Excellent service from manager- maitre d- went above and beyond to take care of us on a busy Friday night- impressed with his efforts The food outstanding- we had apps salad entrees and sides, all were spectacular

The tea leaf salad was very good. The garlic shrimp was OK. the service was friendly but slow and sporadic. Hard to get a server’s attention to get the smallest thing. We were seated at the front and the servers were mostly serving in the back and the patio. I would avoid that seat.

We had a wonderful time in the outside seating. It was nice and tables were not placed too close. The wait staff didn't hover but were there when we need. Food was delicious and varied. A very good value for the money. Will return when we are back in The Bay Area.
