It was a phenomenal food journey !!!
Delicious food, friendly and fast service, and lots of vegan and gluten-free options!
Great service and delicious food. Great ambiance too.
Super delicious food - so glad we went there!
Went on a whim for date night - glad we had reservations cause it was very busy, which was a bit surprising because we booked a day before and there were a ton of open spots still. The restaurant is surprisingly large, though, with a large bar area. Table space is small, but cozy. The noise level is loud and lively, but not so loud that it's hard to hear your group talking. Would be a great place for a group dinner, as well.
THE FOOD + DRINKS
We each had a cocktail (Shan State of Mind) which was both delicious and really pretty. The star of the night was, surprisingly, the Laphet - a tea leaf salad. The menu was not lying when it said "this will change your mind about what a salad can be" - it was crunchy, crispy, fresh, full of different textures, a bit spicy (jalapenos), and garlicky. So good! We also split some vegetarian Samusas. For dinner, I had the Mohinga which is listed in the soup/salad/starter section but is definitely large enough for an entree. It was really tasty and comforting - tons of noodles and huge portion. My partner had the Pork Curry, which he said was delicious. We were too full, sadly, for dessert, and ended up taking a good portion of leftovers.
Top notch. Our server, Neo, was great and attentive and very friendly.
Fantastic food amazing cocktails
Great experience. Food is always fantastic and ambience is always great.
Everything was delicious. Service was friendly and helpful, but slow. I can’t wait to go back!
I have been a long time fan, so I have some favorites. The food was not very good at all. The party’s was under cooked and flat. The dipping sauce was watery. The pork belly was rubbery. I’m not sure I’ll return.
Great for Gluten Allergies, like me! Menu is marked and the server even asked at the start of ordering if there were any allergies at the table.
First time visiting and really enjoyed Burma Love. Good food, nice staff, nice ambiance for a casual Sunday lunch. Appreciated that they carded for vax proof and also took temp using wrist scan thermometer. Over all, solid good experience!!
The staff is the best.
Amazing food and wonderful service. Nothing was less than perfect.
The food isn't really spicy or flavorful. I feel like the descriptions were made for people who have never been to a southwest Asian restaurant before, like a Thai restaurant. Some of the menu items say "SPICY" on them in all caps, but they were so mild and lacked flavor depth. It's also really expensive. The platha dip was watery. Although the portion sizes were ok, I wish we went to a different restaurant, considering we spent $100 on a meal for two and drinks.
I love Burma Love! The food is always delicious and the servers are helpful and kind.
Our reservation was on a Saturday night, and the restaurant was packed with exuberant, delightfully-fed, fully-vaccinated people. Every dish was delicious and abundant (next time, we might order less, but we did enjoy our leftovers the next night). The restaurant was also doing considerable take-out service, but that did not affect the quality of our dinner or the speed with which we received our dishes. Great place.
Food was excellent! The waiter misheard me so I received the wrong order. He was quick to change it and get me the correct food. Hope to be back soon!
Great stuff. Keep up the good work.
Very tasty food. Most dishes are spicy. We enjoyed the tea leaf salad and the chicken curry. Our server was great and gave us excellent recommendations.
Absolutely delicious and authentic Burmese food! Highly recommend the mohinga, laphet salad, and rainbow salad!
Not very satisfied with the food. I felt the price was too high.
Too loud! Could not hear server or rest of my party!
Food very unique and interesting and tasty except catfish which was full of bones!
We loved the food, so many interesting dishes it was has to decide what to order. We opted to try a smattering from each category. The only negative we have is the wine selection is poor. The service was friendly and accommodating. The place has good vibes.
I'm so happy we ended up at Burma Love! We had a lot of dietary restrictions to cater to within our group, but we all were able to eat things that were new (to us) and delicious. Will definitely return next time I'm in town.
The food and drinks are incredible and the space is warm and inviting. Highly recommend.
The food was very flavorful and portions were a good size. We ordered two main dishes and a dessert and we were plenty full afterwards.
Delicious food ! One of my favorite restaurant is SF
I had Burmese food in Palo Alto and was looking for a similar experience. This was that and better. Great place, incredible food. Highly recommend
They still having difficulty getting staffed up- only one person to take orders for very large restaurant. Lots of severs, etc however. Everyone working hard, very cheerful and responsive within constraints, so still the warm friendly restaurant of pre- pandemic. Food excellent as always. A bit crowded feeling, however, in these uncertain times.
Way too expensive for mediocre food and bad service.
Delicious - very accommodating to food allergies as well. Great service!
The tea leaf salad was outstanding, as were the mint tofu and fried rice we got. The cocktail menu was impressive as well. I will definitely go back for more.
The Covid menu user experience needs to be improved. Currently you need to click on different categories on your phone such as seafood, main dishes or drinks. I suggest a one page scroll menu. This will make it easier for groups or multiple people to pick items collectively so that everyone “is on the same page.”
Great meal. Friendly staff and delicious food, but definitely crowded and at capacity.
It was little cramped the noise level was very high and the table were too close to one another , though the food was good but I was expecting they will Khausway on their menu which is one of the famous Burmese dishes .
Delicious food, beautiful presentation and professional staff
I always come back here for the Samusa soup and Tea Leaf salad. I’ve been raving about it for years, and took a friend who’d never been, she loved it too. The staff were all very friendly, we had 3-4 people helping us the whole time, with seating, order, bringing dishes to the table, water refills, etc. We had 5:00 reservations, the food came very quickly. The restaurant is clean and the decor is attractive and relaxing.
We had a reservation for 3 at 8:15, but weren’t seated until 8:45 and we were placed at a two-top. At least we got to switch to a slightly larger two-top after ordering but for having a reservation, we should have been seated at a proper table more on-time and to begin with.
We have been dining here for a couple of years now and it never gets old. The flavors are spectacular and we have fallen in love with the Burmese cuisine. Every location never disappoints! Some of our go to dishes are the mango chicken, mint chicken, tea leaf salad, coconut rice, and of course the platha!
