Fantastic food surely me & my friends will be soon!!!
Tea Leaf Salad (with cabbage) is the best. Been there multiple times and the food is always amazing. Service from the hostess to the wait staff is super friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this place!
The initial pictures of the green tea salad weren’t all pleasing but to my surprise it was amazing. I brought a friend that isn’t really much into food and he enjoyed it. We ordered a number of dishes and loved everything we ate. Can’t wait to return.
Hate to give this place a good rating. I would like to keep it just for myself. But it was awesome. Staff was very friendly and provided prompt service. Food was excellent. Lots of Variety on the menu. My girlfriend loved the Fried Tofu appetizer. I liked the Black Pepper Goat.
Really excellent food...especially the Tea Leaf Salad...DO NOT, NOT order this. Great prices. Good Burmese beer. One of our favorite restaurants.
What my husband and I had was very good, but the veggies are expensive for what they are. Yes, the broccoli and garlic is a family size portion but the mark up is ridiculous when you think about how much you could get at the grocery store for $12.
wow..what a surprise to find this great restaurant. The food was outstanding and lots of it!
Nice time, great food!
I book a table for two to celebrate both our birthdays. I told the waitress that I could not have anything spicy in my food, because of health reasons, she did not considered what I asked her for. She brought my dish and it was spicy and the owner or manager came to our table and offer me to exchange it for other dish. Again, the same waitress came and I asked for a second totally different dish to replace the first one. It was spicier than the first one, even for my friend that eats Indian and Mexican food all the time. (By the way, I tried only a one tiny nibble size portion from both dishes).
It gave us the impression that they did not care at all and/or did it with purpose. The owner was literally out of words to explain why that happened and the only thing that occurs to him, was serving a peeled orange and not charging me cause I was not able to have lunch that day. That was my fourth visit to the restaurant and I never had that problem before. It takes a good team to make the difference and a good manager or owner to address the issues properly and right away, none of which were present in our experience. Saturday 13, Table booked at 12:30 pm.
Our Birthday celebration was ruined. We feel that there was no real apology.
Amazing food! Everything was outstanding. Absolutely delicious!
we love burma burma's tea leaf salad, samosa soup, tofu vegetables and garlic noodles....our standard order every time!
First time there but certain to be not the last. Great flavors, friendly service. Can’t wait to make my way through the menu. Everything we had was great but everything else looked good too. And I’m not a big rice fan but the coconut rice is the bomb!!
Reservation recommended for weekends.
Great service and outstanding experience for the foodies
This place never fails to impress!! Food and service is exceptional. Probably not the best place for a romantic date as the tables are close together and the noise level is high. Opening a second location in Walnut Creek with a full bar and outdoor seating. Can’t wait to go there!!
Great experience with food and staff. Will be returning VERY SOON!
Fantastic experience! The waiter was friendly and helpful with the recommended food. Ordered the Tea Leaf Salad, the Burmese Shrimp with Coconut Rice, and the Burmese Garlic Noodles, and it was to die for. Highly recommend this place!
The tea leaf salad was the best in the bay area and the mango chicken was really first rate. My wife loved the pork stew with potatoes which was very rich tasting and well prepared everything was great. Our only comment is that the entrées came out first followed by the Tea leaf salad appetizer afterwards.
The food is delicious and the service attentive. We especially liked the tea leaf salad and peppered beef. The waiter talked us into trying the burmese cake. Different but a dessert worth trying. We have returned to try other dishes as well.
Great food and service. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Food was outstanding, and so was the service. Calamari was cooked to perfection and the noodles were too! All dishes were superb.
Terrific food at fair prices. Some dishes are pretty spicy, so be sure to ask if that's a concern for you.
The food is so good there was four of us so we shared a lot. Had the Lamb Curry, Garlic Noodles with Roast Duck, Pad Tai with Tofu, Chicken Salad, Spice String Beans and Samosa's. I highly recommend all of that. It was so good plus they have a great wine list.
Great flavors we were 4 of us and shared 4 entree and a tea leaf salad plus the beans and mango fried rice. It was excellent. We had plenty of food and brought home the left overs. Could share three mains with 4 people easily. Or even 2 mains with the two sides and a salad. Excellent experience.
Quality food, good service, at reasonable price... what else can I ask for?
Excellent food and service! They are very family oriented. They provide plastic plates and cups for the little ones.
Great feed. Huge variety in the menu. Biryani was awesome and service is outstanding.
Excellent food, great service. Good for the money. Reasonably priced.
Busy restaurant with unique and tasty dishes. We ate a variety of entrees and loved them all. I especially recommend the tea leaf salad.
Fantastic food and service is awesome.
Always love the dishes that we order. We love coming here as a local favorite. The only complaint is that the noise level is really high when the restaurant is full and busy. But the service and food are fantastic!
Service was excellent. Tables are too close together and it was difficult to have conversation. Interesting food.
Our third time eating at Burma Burma. The food is very good and the staff is even better. Very friendly and will offer advice honest advice on menu selections when asked. It is becoming a regular stop for us. Highly recommend.
Food was good. Server was very friendly and had a sense of humor. Just a bit slow service, and a bit salty on the food. But overall had a good time.
My husband is half Burmese and their food is delicious AND authentic! I highly recommend the tea leaf salad and all of their curries!
Had lunch with a friend. I prefer having dinner here where I have more options. Food is always delicious.
Food was amazing
This was our fourth meal at Burma Burma and we have never been disappointed. The host is gracious, the server is too; both happily volunteer, and have full knowledge of, each item on their menu. I recommend making reservation, for even on a Sunday night it is packed.
Had a great lunch. Went with Tea Salad, Basil Chili Beef and Mango chicken. All was great. Will come back. Good spot
Problems with our OpenTable reservation, but the manager found a spot for us. Great service, great food.
