   Could not have been any better! Burlingame did not miss a trick! Our pre-dinner cocktails set the tone. Old fashioned was perfect with a large CLEAR ice round and martini with 3 blue cheese olives. Dinner was delicious with outstanding presentation. Ambiance very cozy and nice/quiet. Service awesome. Can’t wait to go again!

   Economy of words asessment: At first blush , parking is nebulous. Our bearded waiter was not very pleasant, no salutations, no telling his name, however, the waiting assistant/ bus girl was cheerful and amiable. Weceven commented how we should have preferred her as our server. The octopus appetizer was well executed save the fingerling potatoes (filler ?). The entree was a train wreck of colors yet the halibut shone through the murky and muddled contrasts. Suffice it to say, I won't go back. Go to Salt or Bob's and you won't face the defeat of disappointment !

   We had the octopus and the mussels to start off and, wow they were amazing! For the main course the NY strip steak and the shrimp and grits were also to die for (especially the fries). In general, the food plus the service made our experience memorable.

    We loved our dinner at Burlingame! Everything was delicious and service was great. We sat on the back patio and lucked out with great weather. We will be back next time we are in Amelia Island!

    Decided to try this restaurant for my birthday on a recent visit to Amelia Island and so glad we did. This restaurant is special! The waiter was very knowledgeable about the wine list and recommended a beautiful Austrian wine which paired so well with our menu selections. We started with the oysters and charred octopus which were excellent. Main course was the crispy skin salmon and the halibut, both amazing. So fresh and seasoned to perfection, beautiful flavors. We finished with a lemon pie with blueberry compote and cracker crumble. This desert was incredible! They are definitely on to something and I can’t wait to return the next time I am in town. 5 star experience.

    The food was excellent! The Brussels sprouts appetizer is to die for. The salmon entree was also delicious as was the pecan pie dessert. Service was professional, friendly and attentive. The restaurant is in a house with each room having its own decor.

    It was okay. This was our second time eating here and we were much less impressed with the food than last time. My dinner arrived tepid and they upcharge for everything. $56 for a piece of Halibut is ridiculous. Our server was sweet, but so nervous. She spilled wine all over the table w each pour, but was efficient otherwise. I'm pretty sure we won't be back, as there is better, more reasonably priced food elsewhere on the island.

    Had a date night while spending a long weekend on the Amelia Island. The cuisine was absolutely phenomenal as were the libations. Even the loud, obnoxious group seated next to us didn’t ruin our experience. Definitely visit here if you’re spending time on the island.

    We are here on vacation and chose to try this small owned business and it was outstanding. The chef and his wife are the owners and they have thought through every detail. Ambiance is perfect. Elegant but not stuffy. Perfect for a special evening or just out with family and friends. Service was top notch. The right level of being fun and engaged without too much. Loved our waitress! Food was one of the best meals I have ever had. The shrimp and grits were creamy and the flavors popped in a beautiful array of savory, sweet, and creamy. Amazing. My husband's halibut was perfection and the potato gnocchi was like air clouds of flavor. Dessert of deconstructed lemon meringue was one I will try to replicate. It was so good. Thank you for an amazing evening.

    Our server Mikayla was very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Food was exceptional, fresh, flavorful and creative. We love the intimate and cozy atmosphere of the various dining areas; clean and homey. Wine list is diverse and offers a great variety.

    If you like a very very small piece of well done Caribbean red snapper at a price of $49.00, this is the place for you. My husband said the salmon was very good. The beet salad as well as the Brussel sprouts were excellent. The waiter was not very attentive.

    This was our second time at Burlingame. All the meals and starters that our party of five ordered was outstanding! The server was courteous, we never felt rushed. Our orders were perfect. The portions were perfect. The meals were cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back. This will now be our favorite to go to place on AI.
