My husband and I both ordered the filet and lobster tail. Both of us agreed that our steaks were the best we had ever eaten ANYWHERE. Highly recommend this restaurant!

These folks are pros. From the bar to the kitchen to the service, everything is done with great care and wonderful flavors. We love it.

Chilean sea bass was fabulous. Brussel sprouts are the best. Don’t get me started on the pecan pie with brown butter ice cream!

If you like being controlled by the owners as you enter the restaurant then by all men’s go! My wife and two friends were accosted by both owners as we entered New Year’s Eve for dinner. I was shocked by there halt you cant enter with out a mask. Shocked because we had dined there in October with no mask. We had shopped and had lunch downtown with no such treatment. We should have left, sadly we didn’t, worst evening dining out ever.
I know most of you don’t care and that’s fine, but I refuse to be controlled like sheep! We will never dine there again and will be sure to tell our friends who fell the same as we do!

Great food as always....our server was Barbara-she was fantastic and took great care of us. I hope we get her as our sever on our next visit

We loved our dinner! We both got the Sangria and Steak and Frites. Perfectly cooked and soooo tender. The place was amazing. Perfect setting for a nice quiet dinner. Food was amazing.

It was a great experience from the checking to the waiter to the food. We liked that the restaurant socially distanced all the tables and this made us feel safer.

Burlingame was top notch from start to finish. Very professional service and delicious food. The cioppino was wonderful. Perfect on a rather chilly December evening. I would highly recommend it and can’t wait to return.

This restaurant is amazing!! From the time you enter the door to sitting down at your meal to dessert everything is delicious! Great cocktails and wine as well! The servers are excellent and professional. We celebrated my daughter’s birthday and it was fabulous!

Excellent experience. Food and service were splendid. Deck dining with heater allowed for social distancing with wonderful ambience.

The value and quality of the food was terrible. The steak was mediocre for the high price. Steaks fries were terrible. The aioli sauce wasn't good at all. The cheese board was ok. Dessert was terrible, it was either old or frozen. Do not go here, high price for poor quality food. We are foodies and love trying new places and we will never return.

We were skeptical about this restaurant but the food, the service, and the ambiance was outstanding! Highly recommend the steak frites and the snapper, and the pecan pie was delicious! We will definitely come back!

My husband and I came to Berlingame while on our Honeymoon. We had a cozy booth table and great cocktails to start. The octopus appetizer was amazing and the oysters were fresh. We split the surf and turf and steak frites and both were cooked perfectly and so so tasty. We had a really great overall experience with our waiter John and the chef and owner even wrote us a hand written card for our special occasion which was a really nice touch. The best part was the lemon pie dessert to top it all off. highly recommend for a laid back but amazing meal.

This restaurant has become a go-to anytime we are in Amelia/Fernandina. The food is unique and always impressive. The wine list is extensive without being overwhelming.
Portion sizes are generous. Menu is ever changing based on seasonal availability of local produce and seafood.

Good was excellent as always and we appreciate the nice, heated outdoor space during these times. Tables were well spaced. It is one of the few places we feel comfortable eating right now.

Quiet, safe pre- Thanksgiving dining. The octopus was outstanding!

Restaurant was great. Some of the other (younger) diners that night were annoying.

Spectacular meal. The Blackbird was tremendous and the surf and turf was outstanding. I don’t think I have ever thought of the lobster as a side dish. Wow what a wonderful sauce/gravy. Absolutely great!

We found this place last year to celebrate my wife's birthday and just had to return this year. The owners couldn't be more cordial and obviously have put their hearts and souls into the restaurant. The food, service and ambiance are all first class and no doubt we come up from Jacksonville again next year.

Burlingame is our favorite restaurant in town for a nice evening out. We had a great time celebrating my husbands birthday! We sat outside in their courtyard. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The food and wine were superb. They sent us caviar on the house which was amazing. The whole evening was really fun and special. I highly recommend this place!

Wonderful meal with Michaleh as our server. We had the roasted Brussels as a starter and then the diver scallops and NY Strip and frites. The meals were outstanding. While the prices are healthy, the chef does a wonderful job and it is well worth it. It was an excellent experience

Our server was amazing! She even sent us away with some amazing wine suggestions for home.

Wednesday night dinner with friends visiting from St. Pete was absolutely wonderful. It was one of our friends' birthday and our server, Mikayla, surprised him with a signed card by the restaurant staff. He sincerely appreciated the kind gesture and we all appreciated her warm and personable attention.
We all enjoyed the endive salad as a starter with the bacon viniagrette.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their entrees of shrimp risotto, flounder and NY strip steak.
Our bottles of wine (a Napa cabernet sauvignon and a Sonoma pinor noir) paired nicely with the meal as well as dessert -- their delicious graham cracker crust chocolate torte.
They look forward to joining us again at Burlingame when they return for a visit.

The service was great, the patio is nice for a safe dining experience but we felt the food was not up to the previous quality. The snapper overcooked and the scallops presentation changed and really didn’t work. Prefer the grapefruit and risotto that used to be offered with the scallops.

Our 20th wedding anniversary- everyone made it extra special

Burlingame was recommended to us and we are ever so thankful. This was perhaps the best dining experience we had during our vacation. Dining was outside which was pleasant. Enjoyed a lovely cocktail along with our oysters which were on point. Dinner was the Diver Scallops and NY Strip both tastefully served and delicious. This is the place to dine if you have only one night in Amelia Island. Superb!!!

Marvella was our server this evening and she did a wonderful job. We have plans to come back to Fernandina Beach in January and will definitely have this as one of our stops for dinner. I highly recommend the Snapper. It was delicious.

A very nice anniversary dinner.

We stayed in Fernandina area just to celebrate our 42nd anniversary at Burlingame. I had been there previously and had a wonderful experience. The room we were seated in was just opposite the register on the right. It wasn’t cosy or warm and the lighting was like fluorescent. One print on the wall looks like the Covid virus. We asked to move, but we’re told nothing else was available. Shortly, the other two tables were seated with Football fans who were loud and boisterous.
We came away very disappointed.

Everything was absolutely outstanding; from the food, to service, to cocktails and ambiance. There were 4 of us and everyone’s meals were delicious and well prepared.
No shortcuts here; everything is prepared fresh. The bartender is excellent and pours some mad cocktails. We would highly recommend Burlingame anytime and it is a special treat for an occasion. Thank you for a stellar dinner!
