   Burlingame has become our favorite local restaurant.Everything on the menu is consistently delicious. Even the sauces and dressings and breads are a delight. It’s the only place we go where there’s never a standout favorite dish because every one is fantastic. Every time I leave I look forward to coming back!

    The food and service at the Burlingame was excellent. Quiet place with nice ambience for a dinner date. Prices are a touch high, yet they deliver excellent quality. The Market fish (Halibut $62) was perfectly cooked and zero fishiness. Christine, our server was experienced and professional. Recommend for a special occasion.

    We had a table for 4 outside, even though our reservation was for 2. The staff was very accommodating with the addition of 2 more to our party. The service was great and the entrees were unique and cooked just right.…we each had something different from the menu (Diver Scallops, Crab cakes, lamb bolognese, and pork). The whole experience was memorable and enjoyable .

    Food was excellent my wife had the vegetarian dish and i had the halibut. Charcuterie board for appetizers washed awesomely as wellness assurance then Sancerre wine! Outdoor porch was perfect and quiet.

    We have been to Burlingame in the past and loved it! The menu was more extensive than this visit. We had good meals this time and the staff was very attentive. But the prices were high and based on our last visit we were underwhelmed.

    Excellent service. Excellent food. My wife and I enjoyed our fish dishes. She had the Salmon and I had the halibut. Both were cooked perfectly and presented beautifully.

    First time here. Recommended by the B&B we stayed at over the weekend. Food was descent. Nina our server was excellent. But charging a $3 fee to share a salad is not cool. (We had a $62 Halibut entree!) Our server reversed the charge after we questioned it. It just feels petty to charge for that.

    Everything was quite pleasant, but our entrees did not impress. The sea scallops were overpowered by the dill and fennel. The halibut was overcooked. Service (by Nina) was excellent, but the overall experience was not great. We have had better in Fernandina Beach.

    This was by far our favorite meal of the trip. Everything we had was delicious, our waiter was excellent and the drinks were perfect. We tried octopus for the first time and we’re so glad we did! It was so good and interesting. Every dish was perfectly cooked and made from scratch. Kudos to the chef. 👏👏👏

    If you're looking for a special place to celebrate an occasion or simply enjoy a delicious meal, Burlingame Restaurant on Amelia Island is definitely worth a visit. My recent birthday celebration at this elegant eatery was a memorable experience that exceeded our expectations. Lovely decor and quiet table with prompt seating and attention for cocktail orders delivered quickly. The star of the evening were the main courses of crispy skinned salmon and NY strip which three of us shared were perfect in preparation and presentation. As the perfect end to a week-long celebration, Burlingame Restaurant easily ranks among the top three dining experiences I've had, alongside the outstanding Alligator Soul and Pink House.

    The outdoor covered patio is lovely. The server was polite and very well informed about the menu. The food choices were wonderful. The Vegetarian option sounded delicious and the server recommended adding shrimp, which made it even better! The Pork Chop recommendation was amazing and easy to eat as it was cut into pieces on the bone. Sourdough bread, oysters and cocktails were all wonderful! Highly recommend!

    Visitors from NJ here. One of the best restaurants we ever been to! The food and drinks were incredible! Service was fabulous. If you go to one restaurant in the area, make it this one!
