Whenever I need a burger I go here! I don’t eat meat and the plant based burger they offer is So close to meat that it satisfies my craving. The flavor and texture and taste is incredibly. A few times I’ve had to ask “are you sure this isn’t meat?”
Their onion rings are my favorite in town.
And I love that I can customize my burger. They have vegan and gluten free buns.
They have a great selection of Bourbon and wine and beer.
And their milkshakes are my grandsons favorite! If you can please a 5 year old then you’re in! Great service. Great atmosphere. Great location.
We were a party of 6 in a corner booth that was uncomfortable, but I would go again.
It was a bit loud but it was a very busy night. Our waiter, Keith, was wonderful. Our meal was as one would expect from a St. Elmo associated establishment.
Not worth what I paid for. I even bought the most expensive burger they had to offer and it was comparable to a Steak ‘n Shake burger just a tad thicker.....not by much.
Excellent food & service. All staff were professional & courteous
Mu son and I really enjoyed the time we spent at Burger Study. The food was amazing and the service was very good. The prices are a little rich for my taste but definitely a great experience.
Decent burger, uninspired bun.
The amount of bacon on my burger was very disappointing. I asked if I could get more and my waiter said he should be able to get me some without charging me. He brought me more, but failed to tell me that he charged me 3 more dollars for two more skimpy little pieces of bacon. He should have told me how much it was prior to bringing it, if he wasn't able to do it for free. For the price of the burger, not a way to handle toppings.
The food was tasty, but extremely overpriced. When going out for dinner, I did not expect to pay nearly $90 after tip for three people to eat cheeseburgers.
Food was excellent and prepared exactly as requested. The chef came by twice to ask about our food. Hamburgers were great. We had fried cauliflower as a starter. It was really good. Overall a good eating experience.
Great fancy burgers. Good service. Fun atmosphere.
Great food and an awesome atmosphere. My youngest has a food allergy and the staff was super helpful to be sure have what he wanted.
Food was delicious and we enjoyed the Savor Indy deal.
We had a get together for my daughters 18th birthday. The food was outstanding and great location close to the Escape Room downtown. The only negative was a weak dessert menu.
Although the food is good the service is very slow. There never seem to be enough wait staff to cover all the tables. Servers are generally courteous however, they all seemed to be overwhelmed by the number of tables and customers that each server was responsible to take care of. Would not recommend to anyone that might have a issue with it taking over two hours to complete your meal.
Great meal and great service! In my opinion, Burger Study has the best burgers in town. My favorite is the Double Major but I will be trying some others very soon.
Great before and after events downtown or just gathering with friends. Food and service are always outstanding. Even our vegetarian and pesca-veg friends love it. Something for everyone.
Avocado wedges were amazing! Great burgers. I’ll prob try the milkshakes next time
My family of 5 dined here for the first time this Saturday. We had made a reservation at 7pm and were promptly seated in a corner booth right on time. Our server was entergetic and friendly! Our appetizers and Burgers/sandwiches were amazing! We will definitely be coming back for more!
Food was decent but I’ll compare it to a highly over priced Steak and Shake. My wife enjoyed her lamb burger and there wasn’t a glowing complaint on the food. However the service was subpar and the prices were overly expensive for what it was.
It’s okay at best, we probably won’t return unless things begin to change. Bru Burger has them beat hands down for a hamburger joint although not as fancy.
Really slow. We were seated at 6:15, had to hurry to eat out food to be out for our event at 7:45. We ordered right away. Burgers had no flavor and were burnt on the edges. Not worth the hour ticket time or the price.
Way to loud, couldn’t hear the waiter. Food was ok and not prepared properly and the fries were way over cooked.
First-time visit food was excellent the service was phenomenal prices a bit High but I have to say that is the best hamburger downtown
Good food, great service but it was difficult to talk to person sitting next to me. Found my friends left behind scarf the next day and when she called, they had it for her. A good service oriented place!
For a gourmet burger, the burger was very small and not thick at all. The flavor was very good and cooked perfectly.
I have been there twice and the service is slow. Takes too long for everything especially since it is a burger joint. I probably won’t go back.
Great burgers great service and wait staff.
Chain restaurant feel. Food was just ok. Not impressed.
We had dinner with some friends on a Monday night. Great food and amazing service!
The freshman burger and hot chicken burger were both great. The mac n cheese is so tasty!
Food was good, but still a burger joint!
It wa amazing. Our server Disney was outstanding, the food was phenomenal. Enjoyed our whole dining experience.
Server was awesome and the food was amazing.
Great dinner before the Pace game
Not very good. We ordered 6 beef burgers and a tuna burger. The person with the tuna was the only happen one. Burgers were significantly over cooked and they did comp four of the burgers. Not sure it’s worth going back again at these prices.
My first visit to this restaurant and since it was affiliated with St Elmo and Harry & Izzy I thought food would be amazing. It was good for a burger and there are too many other options for a great burger in the city. Nice bar, pleasant ambience and service was excellent.
LOVED this place. Will totally come back. Alcoholic milkshakes were super. And I took a chance on the WAGYU BURGER and it was AMAZING. So good.
It's great food and service. We just had an off night there. My wife and I have eaten there many times and this week was the first time things were a bit off. Had the wrong cheese on my burger, I ordered an IPA from Cincinnati that I should of sent back and the did not have Kahlua for a Kahlua and Cream for my wife. They substituted something that was not the same to say the least. I still recommend eating there. Normally the food is fantastic. The service is always over the top.
It’s our tradition to go to Burger Study before monster jam. It’s awesome for both adults and kids to enjoy. Food is fast and good. Drinks also came fast. The wait staff is friendly and quick. Will be back again next year for monster jam and likely sooner.
They have some great options to put on your burger. The fries are fantastic. Was a great place. Price is higher than other burger places.
Good food, a little pricey but very good
