Restaurant was not open at my booking time. Social media / Website listed 11.30am opening time but by 12 doors were still closed and no one answered phones.

First visit in August for my birthday and we needed to head back for my daughter’s birthday in September (any excuse). The menu has been tightened up (the owner was really open about the ill effects of Covid on the hospitality industry in the area - respect) which meant I spent less time drooling over it; we all ordered something different and it was all sublime. Really tasty meat patties in the beef burgers, tender crispy fried chicken… you could not go wrong with your choice. My only suggestion is telling us the cauliflower cheese has a bit of a kick to it, absolutely delicious but maybe a bit spicy for the little ones. More for me! And the loaded fries… Friendly, prompt service, great atmosphere, music wasn’t too loud. Absolutely recommend this place, again and again.

Had a really good meal and great drinks on my birthday. Meals and drinks were delivered in a timely manner. Loved the Cheeky 18+ alcoholic milkshakes. Covid Safety Protocols were followed well.

Food was not as good as in previous visits. Burgers ok but sides were really disappointing eg Tenders were so oily they had to be placed on napkins to remove a lot of it. The loaded fries tasted significantly different—-3/4 woke up with upset stomachs today which may be linked to the loaded fries
