Burger Jones - Minneapolis Ratings and Reviews
Burger Jones is a favorite for a casual meal. My family has pescatarians and people with gluten issues, and the menu makes everyone happy. Lots of good beer and drink options, plus milkshakes. The prices aren't the cheapest, but you never feel cheated. Overall, a go-to spot.
Overall good food but service was slower than normal and waitress was unfamiliar with the menu. I asked if there was dairy in the spring rolls and was told no. Upon arrival we found that they were more egg roll than spring roll (as they were fried) and were filled with blue cheese. As I can’t eat dairy this was just not cool
Really appreciated that Burger Jones has.Open Table reservations. Arrived with walk-ins having a 25 minute wait. Our table was waiting for us. Service great. Food very good, not a 5 only due to them frying shrimp rolls in the same fryer as everything else? Wished they accommodated for crustacean allergies. We will return, but I'll stay away from fried foods.
This was our first time to Burger Jones and it was delicious! We had great food and great service. The only downfall is that the restaurant was so incredibly hot it made it very uncomfortable to even eat our dinner. I am not sure if their AC was off or it was just so busy that it made the restaurant super hot but, it was pretty bad. I had to take the rest of my food home because I was too uncomfortable to finish but, hopefully the next time we try Burger Jones it wont be so uncomfortable.
I am inclined to write a review because of the awesome waitress that we had, and have a lot when we go here. Our 2 year old son has multiple food allergies, and this waitress always remembers this and us when we come in. I wish I could give her name, maybe you can look it up. But many kudos to her - she is always so warm and kind.
Great spot for burgers and views of Lake Calhoun. I had a group of 10 morph to 12 as we arrived and the restaurant was perfectly accommodating. Thank you so much for the flexibility. Excellent burger specialist with decent on-tap brews and wonderful summer vibes if outside. Reasonably priced and just what we were looking for.
Used to be a fave for the family, but last couple visit have been disappointed. They changed the veggie burger patty option to something weird and mushy, and the fries, curds, and onion rings all seem over-fried. It's so expensive for a burger joint, so really expect to have an awesome experience every time. Service also a bit spotty last couple times. We probably won't be regulars here anymore. Still best shakes in town, but room for improvement with everything else.
Phenomenal food, atmosphere and locale. Even during a super busy time it didn't take long for our food to arrive at our table. The place was vibrant and buzzing with workers helping and diners enjoying their tasty meals. A couple of things to mention though: although we would come back here in a heartbeat, our service was way subpar despite how many people were working. We had to wait nearly 10 minutes for a refill on our drinks and to get our check. Other item worth noting is all sides are a la carte. Want fries with that? That'll be extra. Onion rings? Extra. Oh- and you only get 3.
Our recent to Burger Jones was a disappointment at many levels. This was our first time at the restaurant and we had questions about menu items and food preparation. Our waitress seemed annoyed at having to answer and it was difficult to hear her answers with the noise level. Service was poor. We did not get water until, after our entrees were served and it was our third request after being seated. We will not go back.
