   Sad to see this location closing but our service was mit attentive this evening and the lobsters were over cooked.

   The food was mediocre. Overpriced. The noise was unnecessary as the music was turned loud for no reason adding to the noise of the echoing restaurant coupled with guests conversations. Had to ask twice for our drinks. Didn’t receive them until after our appetizer was finished. Had to deal with a second server to get and pay for check. Wanted to take appetizer left over home and expressed this to waitstaff. It was left on my table the whole meal without packaging materials until asking at the end again. Oysters had frozen ice embedded within the oyster. That was a first in any seafood restaurant in my life. I wouldn’t go back again. The manager or someone came to our table with money to give us as change but the problem is we paid with a credit card so was he giving us free money? We had to say that we aren’t the intended party getting change. He’s mistaking us for another party. And I ordered a special sauce to have with my meal. Never got it. Gave up. We weren’t really checked in on during our meal despite neighboring tables. Wouldn’t suggest it or go back. Don’t bother. I suggest cull and pistol or Lure. Same price but higher quality in food and service.

   This was our 4th time visiting Burgers & Lobster. The service has been slow with each visit but this time was the worst. I ordered the whole lobster and was extremely disappointed. The lobster was very dry. Perhaps it was overcooked. My husband had the beast burger and was very happy with it. When the waiter came to take our plates I told him my lobster was dry. He said, "You should have told me, I would have brought you another one." I would have told him if he had bother to come back to check on us after someone else delivered our meals. After he cleared our plates we waited for 20 minutes for him to bring the check. I finally asked the host if we could please have our check. We did not visit at a busy time...we were seated at about 3:30 p.m. We will not go back to Burgers and Lobster in the Flatiron District.

   Services was great, salad was ok. Think they need to change it up a bit

   Burger and fries was delicious. Also got lobster but it was slightly chewy and burnt so not very good. The cocktail was okay, as was the side salad. Our server Chris was very busy but still gave us good service. Would have preferred not to have sat right next to strangers in a booth however.

   I was pleasantly surprised to see that the food and timely service has improved significantly since I was there a few months ago. The lobster roll I ordered was perfectly cooked and it was accompanied by a delicious butter sauce which had not been served in the past. The crab bites appetizer was also delicious! And, this time, my table order was taken as soon as we arrived and the food was served pretty quickly. I’m glad I went back there! I love their lobster rolls!

   The food was pretty bland. Everything needed seasoning and/or salt. The service was not great either. The restaurant was not crowded but we had to ask for a waiter and our food came before our drinks.
