I love this place. I’ve been going here for 18 years and it’s still the best in town for the right price.
Enjoyed dinner by the window to watch snow falling! Food was good and portions were large!
Great service, great food and atmosphere. We will make this a regular place each year we come.
We arrived early for reservation hoping for a drink at the bar - but they have no bar. Not a problem, because they sat us at our table and we enjoyed a wonderful bottle of Italian wine (sangiovesse) before a few scrumptious appetizers (mussels, calamari). The veal and buffalo ravioli were outstanding. Waitress was friendly, attentive and delightful. I will definitely go again on our next visit to Park City!!!
Great food, large portions. We had a party of 5 and everyone commented how good the food was! Will be on our list for the next ski trip to Park City
Wild mushroom ravioli was absolutely excellent
They had a good wine selection and excellent service
The meal was excellent as always. Favorite park City restaurant.
We ate dinner at this restaurant twice during our week stay at Park City. The food and ambience were excellent.
The food, at least what we had, was okay but not great. The Caesar salad was plentiful but bland. My wife's chicken marsala was strange-first time we ever saw a marsala with white sauce. And it was inexplicably sweet, as in "sugar added." My wild mushroom ravioli was great, the best part of the meal.
Unfortunately, they seem to overbook their reservations. We arrived 5 minutes early for a 6:30pm reservation. The restaurant was nowhere near full but we were told we would have to wait 10 to 15 minutes for a table. A few minutes later, another couple arrived and were told the same thing. I suspect the hostess overheard us discussing our surprise at having to wait for our reserved tables, because she seated us a few minutes later and the other couple a few minutes after that. But throughout our entire stay, there were people stacked up at the hostess podium waiting for their tables. We've been to better restaurants where we did not have to wait. We doubt we're coming back to this one.
Food delicious, staff accommodating and friendly!! Highly recommend!!!!!
This is a gem in Park City. Food is delicious and they don’t gauge the customer like some places in town! Will Definitely return if we get to come back to the area.
Every visit to Park City includes a dinner at Buona Vita. Food is delicious and the service excellent. We love the ambiance of the restaurant as well
Sundance Film Festival
The server was super friendly and the food was delicious. I had salmon on fettuccine which was delicious.
The experience at Buona Vita was overall fair, if a little over priced compared to the quality.
Wonderful service. Huge servings. Great pastas. My chicken was dry.
Food was amazing!
Great Italian spot on Main Street. Ravioli of all kinds are fabulous. Attentive service. Good for larger parties. Nice wine list.
Great for kids, great kids menu, easy to make modifications and substitutions to the regular menu, but don't expect great italian food or great service. It's edible, but this is definitely not fancy italian food (it's a "red sauce" italian place). Still, they offer gluten free pastas, a decent wine selection, and a lot of options which are all great things. Also, it's good for groups as it's a vibrant atmosphere and they have large table set ups. Totally casual, so you could feel comfortable coming in ski gear even or apres clothes.
The place was full so service was slow and confused. Food was bland with not much going.
Not busy at all!
Always consistent with food and service. They also catered a party for us at the Marriott and did an excellent job. Always dine here when in Park City.
Good food, gracious and prompt service and cozy atmosphere! The portions are huge so we
Split an appetizer of bruschetta and fettuccini Bolognese. Perfecto!
Sometimes things start out bad, continue to go that direction & you realize you’re not a priority to the restaurant. We knew we would be happier somewhere else. We were right. Restaurants like Buona Vita should realize customers go out to dinner, not only for the food, but the whole experience. Rude snickering staff particularly the “hostess” tends to offend customers.
Buena Vita continues to be one of the best values in Park City!
We booked Buona Vista after I read other people's positive reviews, but we were so disappointed tonight with our meals. We ordered caprese salad for our appetizer. In the menu description, FRESH Buffalo mozzarella cheese and FRESH tomato ext.. They served some sort of dried old white processed cheese with generic unripened tomato. We could not eat the dish. This dish was $17!!!. The worst caperse salad I ever had! It was not for the money but it was a quality problem. Our second meal was Stuffed Buffalo Ravioli but it was so bad. The dough was so tough and the tomato and garlic sauce was not seasoned properly and plain. Even though the meals were horrible, but our server was Peter who was very nice and kind. We could not even eat the meals and we left the restaurant being hungry. I want to share my experience with future customers who might visit this restaurant and consider our experience. Well, I am hoping for this critical review may help the restaurant improvement in the future.
This was a most bizarre dining experience. One of our party has a gluten allergy and informed the waiter at the outset. The waiter suggested several items on the menu that are gluten free. A few minutes later, the waiter came back to say that the only thing GF would be GF pasta with marinara sauce. When the waiter came to take our order, and our GF party placed an order for the GF pasta with marinara sauce, and the very same waiter said, "we have many other options, if you like as well." WHAT?!?
The GF person ordered a salad that contains only vegetables, but the waiter said that it too could not be ordered because salads are prepared at the same place as pizzas. WHAT?!?
Drinks were delivered piece meal, so that people were sitting waiting for the rest of the drinks to be delivered because, you know, politeness.
The same thing happened with meals, with the host of the evening being last person being served. In fact, the waiter forgot to put in the order for that meal.
Most people's dishes were quite large, except for the host for the evening. He ordered salmon and it was perhaps the smallest piece of fish we have ever seen at a restaurant. When someone commented about this to the manager, she couldn't have cared less.
We always wanted to try Buona Vita and now we have. There is absolutely no reason to ever go back.
Always great service and good food.
Great Italian food in a nice atmosphere. We visit here every tear and look forward to our dinner at the restaurant.
Great food at reasonable prices. Service was excellent
Very good except made us leave after 90min due to another reservation. Pretty rude.
Muy bueno y mejor servicio. Gracias.
It was a pleasant experience but nothing we feel we want to repeat.
I liked the ambiance and service as well as it's at the lower end of the strip so fun to walk up after dinner. The kids pasta serving was very generous. I had the lasagna which was ok, but too cheesy and little cold in the middle. It could have been lighter. The service was great and attentive. They were kids friendly. Good classic cocktail options.
Calamari was good but, Went hoping for good spaghetti and meatballs, very disappointing.
Loved this place! We came for a few days from SC and we went to the higher price restaurants in Park City and this place was my favorite. Thanks for a great family meal!
Absolutely amazing experience! Couldn't have been better. So romantic and the food was amazing!
Nice restaurant and above average Italian food in Park City. Large restaurant and quite nice ambience. Only issue was the check in with hostess and getting seated in very back of restaurant when there were open seats up front.
Very nice pastas. We enjoyed the gnocchi, lobster ravioli and lava cake.
