It specializes in fresh seafood and fish cuisine, while offering an array of traditional Italian dishes. The large main dining room is bright and airy with an atmosphere that makes it the perfect place to dine for lunch, dinner and special events.
The separate bar area that has a more lively vibe not only for happy hour but also for lunch. Buona Via has two private dining rooms available for private events and parties.
Good food, good service.
Overall, a nice evening with good drinks.
Great meal with terrific server Nico!
Outstanding service and food. The background music doesn’t match the theme of the restaurant but I liked.
My husband and I went for our anniversary. The service, food, and Overall dining experience was good.
All three of us enjoyed excellent meals and great service!
Great service and Great good. Easily accommodated my 87 year old mother and her wheelchair - plenty of room, easy in and easy out.
Very nice atmosphere. Attentive but not intrusive staff. Accommodated special request
Well for a buffet for a party of 4 there shouldn’t have been a 20% gratuity on the bill already. The lines were too long for the cost
The best place
Of our group, one had a fabulous meal, one had a meal the was not edible, the rest were ok. However, the service was slow and not very positive.
Made a reservation for brunch to celebrate mother's day on the week after mother's day. Arrived on time and was told they didn't see the reservation and weren't aware we were coming.(we were a group of 9) They didn't have space to accommodate us and their solution was to set up a folding table in the downstairs bar area. The brunch is upstairs so we had to go up and down each time we went to the buffet. Also, my father in law walks with a cane and was unable to make the trip more than once to the buffet as there is no elevator. The food was ok, pretty good selection and we were offered mimosas on the house as an effort to apologize for the inconvenience, but overall our special brunch outing was not so special. They shouldn't offer reservations through open table if they don't check the service.
we love this place, the food, the service, the ambiance the only reason I did give all 5s is that we were there on busy Friday night and it was very noisy, music in lounge too loud for the dining room where were with friends trying to catch up.
Always a great choice for authentic Italian fare.
Delicious as usual
A step up from average nice restaurants. Great service and ambiance. Beautiful bar. All in all great restaurant
Food and everything was wonderful except for the tip.
Food is always excellent! Sal and his crew do an amazing job!
A bit too noisy
Because there was a private event on the first floor the regular diners had to go second floor and the service was dedicated to the private more than the regular diners. No one manning the omelet station, hard to get refills on coffee drinks etc. Definitely more food options in the private event verses the regular diners.
Food was very good and service to was excellent. Definitely a delay between salad and entrees. Also minor mix-ups on orders, but all was good and taken care of in the end.
Everything about this dinner was great, servers were very friendly. Clams were amazing and i loved my ravioli aragosta. would definitely go back soon.
Our reservation time was honored, however after being seated for quite some time, we had to ask for a server to come to our table. The menu was extensive and I was pleased with the choices available.
The food came quickly. Appetizers were good. The bread was very good.
The assistant waiter cleared the food too quickly- we were a party of four and as soon as a plate was empty it was whisked away, while others were still eating. The same thing happened with the main course. This is a pet peeve of mine; it makes everyone feel rushed. I had a mushroom risotto which I enjoyed. The other three diners were not as happy with their meal.
The dining area is one large room and noisy...not an atmosphere conducive to quiet conversation. We had a 7:00 reservation on a Friday night and there was NO parking a available in their lot. It is way too small for the number of people the place can accommodate. I am surprised that the township allowed such a poor ratio of spaces to patrons. We had to park in a nearby industrial building's lot and getting to it was dangerous... you either walk down a steep hill or on the main highway with no sidewalk. I would not go back anytime soon.
BEEN THERE TWICE BEFORE ALL GOOD ,THIS TIME 1 OUT OF 4 WERE GOOD THE OTHERS WERE QUESTIONABLE FOR VARIOUS REASONS
We had party of 4 and they tacked on 20% gratuity.this is high considering it was a buffet and waiter was not attentive. It wasn’t that busy but had to ask waiter for more water. Buffet was good but no egg whites and food was not refilled often- there were no Bread/bagels until I asked for them. They need to better monitor the food and replace faster.
My Family and I had a wonderful evening dinner. The food was amazing and the service was great!
Great food and service and will go back again. Thank you ! Good to know that we have another neighborhood restaurant to go to.
Food was really good. Service was good. Enjoyable experience
Excellent food and wonderful service. Highly recommend the swordfish!
The ambiance and food were great but the service was a bit slow.
Food was delicious, service was excellent - it was a Saturday evening and there were 3 birthday celebrations in the room, so it was very noisy. We were seated in the middle of the room, perhaps if we had been more toward the outside of the room, it would have been easier to hear each other. We were given our choice of table so it was on us. We have been to Buona Via for brunch, lunch and dinner and have never been disappointed.
The food was very good, everyone cleaned their plate. We also went for brunch which was awesome. Try that. Only complaint was that tables were real close to each other causing the poor waitress to navigate through tight quarters with the dessert cart. I recommend it just try to sit on the perimeter.
Was lacking vegetarian options on the dinner menu but was able to accommodate
It was New Years Eve so the place was festive and the bar seemed energized but the band was alittle too loud. The food was mediocre to say the least. My food was way too spicy and I had to give it to my spouse and our steak needed to be sent back after we stated twice "well done" so by the time it came back I had to eat alone. The flatbread was not crispy. The lemon dessert the way it was on the dessert tray would have been good however they added a dark chocolate sauce that was not shown and we didn't like it.
Let me start with the Pro - Great Food
Con - Hands down the worst service ever. When we arrived we waited at least 15 minutes before anyone came to greet us. Once we were greeted a man came over, I assume he was either the owner or the Maître D, he very rudely asked if we had a reservation, which we did and had already told the women who finally greeted us. Once seated no one came to our table for at a minimum 20 minutes. He took our drink order and then disappeared for another 15 minutes, he dropped off our drinks and then left for another 10 minutes, we should have just left at this point but we suffered on. He then took our App order we received one of the apps in about 5 minutes the other after 10 minutes of the other app not arriving I asked the girl who delivered the first app what was up she said oh I made a mistake and gave it to another table, REALLY, NEEDLESS TO SAY IT CAME OUT WITH OUR DINNER. Food was great but due to rudeness and extremely poor service we will not be going back.
Food quality and execution and options are terrific ! Slightly more formal ambiance than the average neighborhood restaurant which is a refreshing change.
Great food, friendly servers, never have had a bad meal there.
Great dinner! Good martinis, delish scallops and shrimp in a balsamic glaze. Hubby had seafood risotto, equally good. House salads were plentiful. Good meal, we'll be back!
Excellent food and service! Only drawback was the parking lot was full because of a Christmas Eve party being held. Luckily we got the last spot!
My family has a tradition of dining here every Christmas Eve after church- I’ve been here over 20 times and the food and service are alway great . Last night - however was just horrible- being Christmas Eve ... they were terribly over booked . We were seated immediately as my reservations were made well in advance- we were offered a table at the door which had three different types of chairs around it - two bring patio furniture. This beautiful linen table cloth- fine dining establishment had cheap folding tables and patio furniture for their guests - all decked out for the holiday . This second option offered was to sit at a pop up table in the bar . My suggestion-DONT OVER BOOK .Our waiter was absolutely the worst - he was so busy chatting with other diners it was over AN HOUR before we got our bread - the sangria I ordered was sour and brown - I’ve never had brown sangria- I sent it back - too which our waiter inferred- I had an aversion to “ brown drinks”. He ran by our table after an hour and asked if we needed anything- I wanted to say my food or some bread but he never stopped to wait for an answer. We flagged down another waiter and asked for some bread - our food came out after 80 min - the person bringing our steaks put all plates at the wrong places - I got the wrong dinner 3 times - I was the only one who ordered chicken . The food was amazing but unfortunately the people who wanted medium well steaks were given medium rare and vice versa . Our waters were dry for over an hour - so I got up to speak to who I believe was the manager. He apologized and told us he would keep an eye on the table . But the meal was over by that point We ordered desand had coffee- the manager later offered to take the dessert off the bill - the waiter never once apologized. He got a 15% tip - I’m usually more generous. Sadly we won’t go back. We will start a new tradition at a restaurant that attends to their customers. The service was so horrible- It ruined the night .
