Food was good but pricey
Food was excellent. Very generous portions. Would definitely recommend.
Went to Buon Gusto to celebrate my birthday. I suggested this place because I had a gift certificate I had been given previously that I had not had a chance to use yet. Apparently, the place had changed ownership since the certificate had been purchased. The manager would not honor the certificate. We thought this was a poor decision on his behalf because when you purchase a business, you purchase all it’s debts.
Our waitress hovered and seemed to be rushing us through or meal.
The food was good, but we won’t be back. Seemed like greed was getting in the way of good service and good business.
Our experience was excellent! It was a beautiful night and we were able to sit on the patio. The patio is gorgeous!
Great food and great service. Will definitely be back.
Relaxing unhurried evening with simple but delicious flavors. Loved the salmon in a salad as well as main course. Several visits here are always consistently tasty & satisfying.
Good food, good service. A lttle too pricey though. I'd stick to lunch with no drinks next time.
Slow service. Waitress wasn’t overly accommodating.
Our first time there and loved it! Such a cool atmosphere and food delicious!
The food was excellent and very accommodating for a gluten free diet. Every one was very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be going back!
Great food! Loved the decor and that the restaurant was quiet enough to hold a good conversation. Wait staff was so-so but maybe he was new. Overall great experience
This was our first visit to Buon Gusto. We came based on their ads for organic produce, grass fed beef and wild caught seafood. The menu is a not big but there is a little bit of everything. We started with the Bruschetta. The topping was tasty but the bread wasn't toasted. So it was difficult to eat. I ordered the Sonoma Salmon dinner and the other 3 people ordered the Greek Wraps. The salmon was very good and the rice was delicious. The people having the wraps all enjoyed them, but they all agreed the slaw served with it was bland and they left it on the plate. But the biggest hit was the dinner rolls they served before the meal. They were worth the trip all by themselves. I would go back again.
It was our first visit to Buon Gusto. The atmosphere was pleasant. The service was great. Our food was delicious.
How can it be that a Sunday Bruch menu , half of which lists pancakes, waffles, French toast, and such which generally are accompanied with syrup, finds the Kitchen without syrup?
Yes, a compote was substituted, but !!!
There are sources for purchasing syrup on Sundays, albeit not the exact product usually offered.
Is there no alliance between restaurants that would have been an emergency source?
Just disappointed particularly since I had invited friends to drive a considerable distance to join me after a terrible brunch here on Easter Sunday
It was our second visit and was a great way to celebrate Mother's Day.
Visited on Mother’s Day for a scrumptious brunch. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. We are looking forward to going back and having dinner soon.
To be fair we went on Mother's Day so the place was busy. Slow service but she made up for it after she realized she forgot about us. Food was amazing and I love the look and feel of the place.
Went for Mother’s Day brunch. It was a great experience. Great food.
The food was GREAT! But the desserts were even better! Sorry that we waited so long to go here. We will return. And often!
Not sure about recommending. It's a little high priced for pasta dishes. With a salad a plain pasta dish is over $30.
Love this place always have great food and great service. The bar area is so nicely done we love it!
Love the ambiance of this little gem in Brighton, Michigan. Ordered the Brussel Sprouts and Brioche with some wine to kick start our night, deliciousness with the shredded sprouts and pork belly and caramelized onions. We tried a little bit of everything and all were prepared and served with perfection.
The Etouffee was excellent, Cajun sauce was perfect. Risotto was creamy and delicious. I had a bolognese sauce with pork, beef, and veal that turned the tastebuds upside down. My wife ordered blackened salmon that I sampled and was great. Not too spicy, just right. But the Tortellini my daughter was served was a spectacular sight. All the way through 5 different deserts, they did not disappoint. Each desert was a work of art, and some of the finest finishers we could have requested. Can’t wait for the patio experience.
Service was perfect, attentive but not over bearing. Loved this place.
Always a pleasure eating at this quaint little italian joint. The food is really good, and they have some interesting and yummy craft cocktails. The atmosphere, although a bit cramped, is comfortable, clean and not too noisy. The service is great too. Nice place for a date night, groups of 2-4, even 6, but it's a bit too small for larger groups.
I was so impressed with Buon Gusto. I 100% will be back! Food was so good (brunch).
My only suggestions would be to add bottomless Mimosas; not that I need to drink that many Mimosas, but the current glass size is small and they're not super cheap. :)
We Had a party of six. The restaurant is too small to accommodate larger groups.
Servers presented the specials and didn’t tell us they were out of one until we tried to order it
Chicken piccata was very bland it is not often that I have to add salt and pepper to a meal when I go out Thx
What a fabulous find!! I selected this restaurant off of open door based on reviews. I met a friend there for lunch on Saturday and was highly impressed. It's a wonderful atmosphere, friendly setting and great service along with a charming menu and fab food!
this was a decent second time to the restaurant. Unfortunately the food paled compared with our first trip. The schnitzel was overcooked/dry. The appetizers were solid. Wait staff did a nice job recommending things. Unfortunately our "booth request" was juxtaposed to the exit door from the bar which interrupted both conversation and warmth with frequent cold blasts of air. Will try it again before making final recommendations.
Great food and healthy. I started going to Buon Gusto a few years back after I was diagnosed with cancer and wanted to take a more holistic approach. They have tons of gluten-free options, food that is locally sourced, organic, and free-range. Found this restaurant at the right time ands totally recommend, especially if you're wanting to eat healthy.
Delicious meal (Bistro Filet) and enjoyable Friday evening atmosphere! We'll be back!
Fantastic food. Great drinks. Excellent staff. We really like the smaller more intimate setting and the bar area is awesome.
Too tiny for comfort. Food was good but the teeny tiny dining space made the dining experience rather miserable.
Extensive menu, and incredible food. Service was extraordinary
Lemon Ricotta pancakes were delicious! We were seat in the far end , circle room and it was awesome in there! I felt like we were nestled amongst the mossy knolls in Ireland.
Food is excellent! The lasagna is so tasty and the scallops were the best I've ever eaten. Highly recommend
Great atmosphere. Great menu. A happening place. Big city feel without the drive to the big city.
Spectacular as always! I go there usually twice a week and I love it. The food, atmosphere and especially the staff are absolutely the best❤️
Good experience. However, went into the bar whole we waited for our table to get a drink and couldn’t get waited on. Also- the bathrooms are located right where the waitress station making that trip a bit awkward. I would def go back!
Great atmosphere and service. The food was also delicious. As in life, you get what you pay for but I do not for a minute feel like it wasn't worth every penny.
