Too tiny for comfort. Food was good but the teeny tiny dining space made the dining experience rather miserable.
Extensive menu, and incredible food. Service was extraordinary
Lemon Ricotta pancakes were delicious! We were seat in the far end , circle room and it was awesome in there! I felt like we were nestled amongst the mossy knolls in Ireland.
Food is excellent! The lasagna is so tasty and the scallops were the best I've ever eaten. Highly recommend
Great atmosphere. Great menu. A happening place. Big city feel without the drive to the big city.
Spectacular as always! I go there usually twice a week and I love it. The food, atmosphere and especially the staff are absolutely the best❤️
Good experience. However, went into the bar whole we waited for our table to get a drink and couldn’t get waited on. Also- the bathrooms are located right where the waitress station making that trip a bit awkward. I would def go back!
Great atmosphere and service. The food was also delicious. As in life, you get what you pay for but I do not for a minute feel like it wasn't worth every penny.
We love t his restaurant.... have tried a number of different entrees and have never been disappointed.
Requested a specific table on a Saturday night which the restaurant was able accommodate. Service was very good, attentive but not overbearing. Twice, the owner stopped by to make certain our group (4) was doing well and happy. Lobster ravioli and spinach ravioli were very good, house and Cesar salads with plenty of delicious bread. Desert was chocolate creme brulee which no one in our group had tasted before, it was tasty. Overall, a very nice night out, nice ambiance especially on the Bar side, a lot of work went went into the decor.
Service was great, food was great, and they have a really nice atmosphere. We picked this restaurant on a recommendation of a friend and because they have such a large selection of gluten free items.
The prices at Buon Gusto are too high for the quality of food.
Excellent service and food. A personal touch from the manger as she made sure we were satisfied with our meal.
Excellent service; food is outstanding!
Sat us at the time of our reservation
Owner, Fran, stopped by to check on our experience
Staff promptly removed dirty dishes
Sangria is amazing!
Calamari, schnitzel, lasagna and seafood were delicious!
Pistachio cheesecake and dark chocolate creme brulee are to die for!
The atmosphere was beautiful. We were on the bar side. The scallops were amazing and my husband had the pork. Our first batch of bread was hard but the second was perfect. Our table loved the entrees but appetizers and dessert not so much.
The food here is great! They have so many gluten-free options - which is so nice. It's a little pricey but normally worth it.
This is the third time I’ve tried this restaurant since the renovations and new owners. My overall impression is mediocre. The ambiance is amazing, service was good, but I’m missing the food of the old place. Blah sauce on the lasagna. Too much ricotta. No salt on the piccata. The menu has changed dramatically and is not solely Italian cuisine. And the prices have taken a huge leap. I’m left searching for a new favorite Italian restaurant.
Food was amazing! The risotto was some of the best I’ve ever had
Great experience! The food was really good and they were happy to accommodate my multiple allergies. The noise level was perfect for being able to actually carry on conversation and hear each other. We will definitely be going back!
We have been to Buon Gusto several time and have never been disappointed. The food and service are always spot on.
Food is very overpriced for what you get.
Incredibly delicious italian quisine with an impressive amount of gluten free options. Unquestionably one of Brighton’s top three restaurants.
Absolutely great atmosphere. Excellent service and flavorful food. Never disappointed.
Our server seemed to lack experience... brought us the wrong wine, failed to refill waters. Food was average and overpriced. I was surprised bread did not come with the meal. There are better alternatives for Italian in downtown Brighton and other restaurants that are a better value.
Excellent!!!! Love this restaurant...ambiance, food, staff, etc. All wonderful!!!
Food was good but pricey.
Very cool building! Brunch was good although food was not hot. Staff very friendly
I’ve been here for dinner before and loved it. I recently wine for brunch, and was a little disappointed. The menu was pretty limited, and a tad overpriced. I had to pay $2 extra for and egg white omelette vs whole eggs. The service was good, though! I’d go back, but probably not for brunch.
Recommended dishes our party enjoyed
Pork Belly Brussel Sprouts
First time for us and I enjoyed it. Like the idea that dishes can be vegetarian
The food was mediocre at best. Two of us had the Etoufee (one entree each) a seafood pasta dish. Expensive dish for not a lot of seafood. $28 for 3 scallops and 3 shrimp. Angel hair pasta was overcooked. There was plenty of pasta but not worth even taking the extra home. One of us had a sandwich, one sangria the rest water and the total bill cost was $100 . Are you kidding me? We used to eat there 2 times a week. It is not the same. Do not waste your time or $. Oh and they now charge $5 if you share an entree with someone. We wont be back.
Great mid point between Lansing & Detroit for our annual visit with dear friends: great food for the price point, quiet enough to enjoy each other's company & personable/helpful staff.
Table was crowded and in a very tight space. Food was uninspired and just ok. Price seemed high for quality and quantity of food. No soup or salad unless you picked up the price in addition to your meal. Not planning a return trip
Food is always good
overpriced, and DARK--we had to use the flashlight on out phones to see the menu AND the food when it arrived. The wait staff asked four times for our drink order--which their menu was limited (unless you are into Italian wine); then she hovered at our elbow killing any private conversation. The food was good--but $5-$10 over the going rate.
Amazing experience! Food was amazing and our server Erin was absolutely wonderful! After being in Michigan for 6 years or so, my wife and I have finally found a true fine dining restaurant in the Livingston and Wastenaw county area! Amazing!
Love this place, discovered it last year and it has become our favorite in Brighton
They have fresh ingredients and menu items that sound appealing but every time we have been there they miss the mark. It is almost like they try to do too much and the flavors don't work, or on the other end of the spectrum they didn't season the food enough.
Nice atmosphere, lively crowd. Our waitress was friendly. Everyone enjoyed their meal.
Our 1st visit. Would go back
The food choices here are always original and delicious. There is always something new to try and it remains delicious every time. The ambiance here is like no other and there is a very nice wine selection.
