Family friendly. Reasonably priced (for Vail). Great outside dining in warmer months.
I liked the decor of the restaurant and the service was very fast. Food was good.
Wings, Nachos & Buffalo Steak were all very good.
Everything was superb!
We ate at Bully Ranch on our last evening in Vail and enjoyed the occasion. Our waitress was pleasant and efficient. The food was good and portions large. The atmosphere was energetic and fun. All in all, it was a great experience. Definitely recommended.
Great food in a fun setting. Burgers and fried chicken sandwich were great!
Food is mediocre and expensive. Service was nothing special.
My party had a great time. Highly recommended.
This restaurant has a nice atmosphere but the food is mediocre at best
Russell the bartender was awesome!
Como siempre extraordinario!!
Taylor was excellent! Would definitely go back.
Service is terrible. This is like a sausage factory. Entrees come right after appetizers are delivered. They don’t care. Appetizer plates sit on the table while you eat your entrees.
Best Gluten free bun wagyu burger I’ve ever had in my life. Like occasionally still think about it.
Waitstaff forgot salad. Burger was sent back twice because it had onions on it when we stated no onions. Third time it was raw.
In the middle of Vail village. Order the truffle tater tots! Yum. Food was really good, service was decent, fun, casual place to go after a day on the mountain.
Having dined many times at the Bully Pub in the past three years we were surprised to see the short menu handed to us. There seem to be half of the items currently than there have been in the past. There appeared to be a number of bar foods, chicken wings, nachos and a few other items. The primary item was their hamburger, but a meatless meatball item plus a spaghetti and elk meatball, with grilled trout and a couple of steaks. We had the trout and dinner Caesar with salmon. It’s hard to screw up Caesar salad and the trout was so so. In the past we looked forward to dining there but honestly being charged about $100 plus tip was not worth it. At Easter we saw that they put a mandatory tip for the kitchen, that was in addition to the waiters tip, so we expected that. We had another reservation for Saturday Dec 26th but on the way out I canceled.
The excuse I was given for the menu was that they were having supply difficulties as well as being short if waiters. We were not the first to voice our concerns about the whole episode.
We didn’t appreciate being seated at a terrible table when our reservation was early and the restaurant was wide open due to covid cancellations. That was pretty rude on the part of the hostess, especially since we asked her for a better table and she said nothing else was available for 3 people. The food was good though and it came out fast. The server was nice and attentive.
Trout was too die for.
Very sweet place. Nice people. Great ranch ambiance. I get it- this is a nostalgic dinner. The sleigh ride was great. I just think when you are paying $100 per person for a self service buffet dinner - they could step it up a bit. Glasses are plastic which is not up to par. Bartender was sub par at best. Food is ok but not notable. No iced tea? At a ranch? All in all a good time but could be so much better and for the price - it honestly should be.
Impeccable service with outstanding food!
Service was fairly unattentive, quality of food preparation I’d say was just average considering the high quality that you generally get in Vail Village. Prices were premium though.
Generally was good, but the baby back ribs were tough. Kolsch on draft was good.
We had reservations and our table wasn’t ready for 15 minutes. We sat down and the waiter took our drink order. We noticed that two other tables were seated after us and the waiter proceeded to take their orders before us. Our food came out after those tables were done eating, over an hour after we sat down. We ordered a hamburger medium well and it came out raw. We sent it back and again was not cooked the way we ordered. We sent it back again and said to just forget it. They ended up bringing back the same burger, recooked to well done and dry. It was so disappointing. This restaurant had been highly recommended by frequent visitors. The service in general was just fair and the overall experience was not what we had anticipated.
Food was excellent. Service was very good considering staff shortages everywhere. One of our favorite places in Vail.
La recepcionista no fue nada amable. Insisto en darnos una pésima mesa así y cuando había varias vacías
De hecho me reclamo airadamente por pedirle nos dieras una mesa mejor
Sin embargo la meseta excelente
Burger was rare. Asked for medium. Asked to cook a bit longer. They put the entire burger with bread back on the grill and it still came back rare. They should have taken the meat off and just grilled the meat. Have been here several times and this is the first time I have been disappointed.
Had a great meal! Vinny, our waiter was personable and prompt. Excellent service ! We had the chicken sandwich upon his recommendation which was outstanding! The tomato cheddar soup was delicious. We will be back
Be sure to make reservation. The place is super rustic cute. Our server was really on top of things even tho they were short staffed.
We had a burger amd trufflebfries and the salmon sandwich with broccolini.
The wine was great nice selection of beers on tap.
The resturant was attatched to our hotel whick was perfect after a long day on the slopes
Great service and Awesome burger!! Staff were all friendly!
Just what we wanted. Enjoyed the food and convenience
We had a nice romantic dinner. The food and beverages were great and we enjoyed our time there.
Food was just ok.
Food was great, service was okay, ambiance was alright
Our Thanksgiving dinner at Bully Ranch was a fiasco. We had 5:00 reservations for the turkey dinner. They ran out of turkey and did not tell us until after we were seated and after we had sat unattended for a 1/2 hour. We decided to stay an order off the regular menu. They were short staffed, poorly managed, and the service was not good. We went the entire meal without having our drinks refreshed. I would not eat there again.
Thanksgiving at Bully Ranch was a very big disappointment. Made reservations well in advance and was told that there would be a buffet. Arrived and not only was there not a buffet, but our party was informed that they did not have any more Thanksgiving dinner meals, even as they were continually wheeling out large to go orders of Thanksgiving dinner meals. Many parties around us were also very upset to learn that Thanksgiving meals were unavailable which resulted in an unpleasant dining environment. The server that we had was very good despite the bad circumstances. Better planning for holiday meals would be appreciated as customers that count on a Thanksgiving meal when reservations are made, tend to become very disappointed when a family dinner is ruined and no other options available due to the holiday and limited reservations at local restaurants.
