Went to Bully Boy on Father’s Day. It wasn’t crowded & the atmosphere was great. Everything was good. We had Oyster Sliders, Calamari, Fries, Wings, & Brussels.

Yellow tuna wraps and the oyster sliders were DIVINE. Family style portions so 3 plates were more than enough for 2 of us. Awesome place!

Outstanding! The food was amazing. Each "course" was better and better. Best chopped salad were have all had. Beef tartare was perfect. Fried rice with omelet on top split at the table! So many wonderful apps! Best meal in ATL by far!

They quickly seated us on time for our reservation. The Brussel sprout small plate was good. Next we had the crispy calamari which was a little “off” tasting. The consistency of the calamari itself was a little soggy and the batter was similar to a beer batter typically used for something like fish and chips. Next we had the 60 second steak. The steak was room temperature and the egg on top was cold. We told the waitress and she walked over to the manager (we could read her lips) and said “they are complaining!” It was disrespectful that the waitress focused on the fact that we were complaining instead of the fact that our food was not hot. The manager came over and she agreed that the waitress shouldn’t have said that and she said she was sorry our food wasn’t as hot as we would have liked it to be! We stopped her right there and told her the issue wasn’t that the food was not as hot as we would have liked - it wasn’t warm at all. The manager never offered to make things right, so we asked for the check, paid and left. The bill wasn’t as much as it should have been so something was comped.

Server barely checked on my wife and I while there. We ordered 4 or 5 different items, none were very good. Duck bao was very tough, the rabbit patty melt was wet and undercooked. Worst of all, we were unsold a "side of fries" and were literally present with about 2lbs of fries. It was laughable. It was enough French fries to feed 4 or 5 people. One of our dishes already came with a large side of fries, so absolutely no need for more fries.

We've been hearing about Bully Boy from some friends, so were very excited to try it for ourselves. It's a very warm and welcoming space and was incredibly lively in the best way. Cocktails were on point and our bartender/server gave us the most amazing food suggestions. The fried rice (and the presentation) was spectacular and the lobster frites was decadent and delicious. Can't wait to go back.

Thoroughly enjoyed Bully Boy. Loved sharing, had tuna tartar, awesome, oyster sliders, super tasty all the way down to the bun and lobster frites, which were good but next time I think we'll try the lump crab fried rice. Our server, Lauren, was perfect. One of the best we've had in a while. It was our anniversary and the restaurant made it special with dessert and bubbly. We'll be going back!

Second time there. Love the food and the overall concept but it is entirely too loud in that open, warehouse type space and on top of that you have to compete with the music volume. Having said that, I'll still come back often.

I've been dying to try Bully Boy, and finally had the chance on Mother's Day. We had very early (5PM) reservations because of our two young granddaughters, and were sat at a round table in the front corner of the room. Our server came over and introduced herself, I think it was Anna, and we ordered the oysters and smoked bluefish to start while we looked over the menu. They have a pretty wine selection and we choose a really nice Chenin Blauc that was wonderful with the oysters. We decided to all share the main courses, and started with the Red Shrimp with Squid Ink Pasta, which I thought was the star of the meal. Next was gnocchi in she-crab soup, which came with one spoon for four adults. We had to ask our served for more spoons as well as clean plates so that the chili sauce that covered our plates from the Red Shrimp didn't effect the other dishes. This was my least favorite dish, because of the peas in the soup, the flavor of the peas with the she-crab just didn't work for me; others at the table loved it. We asked our server if there was any bread so that we could dip in the she-crab, her response was, "I'll check, we make it here and sometimes we run out." It was 6pm. By the time she came back to our table, we had finished to soup. She never said a word about the bread; I did see a server take bread to his table a short while later. We also ordered the lobster frites which was good, but overpriced for what you get (I truly doubt we were served a 1 3/4 lb. lobster). We finished off with the 60 Second steak, which is really small; and the soft shell crab sandwich, which was delicious. Our server was definitely off her game; she was low energy and not very attentive to our needs. We even had to ask to have our water refilled.

Our waiter was moved to the bar halfway through our meal. We weren’t told about this and no one came to take over. I had to go to the bar to order a drink and request our check. Probably won’t go again.

This is not my first visit to Bully Boy - and it definitely will not be my last! We had a reservation for their early seating on Mother's Day and were greeted and seated promptly. Our server, B, was attentive, informative, and very friendly. He made suggestions and was very patient as we awaited the other members of our party and explained new dishes on the menu. In addition, the chef, Justin, came over and shared more information about the new dishes and answered more questions. We ordered some cocktails - great flavors and exactly as described by the server. I had the cognac drink - very smooth - and my friend had the tequila #1, which she described as just sweet enough and refreshing.
We ordered a few items for the table to share - all of which were amazing! We had the calamari, the lobster frites, and the BBQ shrimp to share. Yummy - but my favorite was the lobster frites! The fries were crispy and flavorful and the lobster was oh so fresh. For our main meals we ordered the crab fried rice, tuna chopped salad, the soft shell crab salad, and the red shrimp pasta dish. Everything was delicious!!! All of our meals were flavorful, fresh, unique flavors, and beautiful to boot!
Everything from the service to the ambiance and music to the food was exceptional!

Ambiance is dinged because it was SOOOO loud. It would help to put sound damping somewhere. The aesthetic is gorgeous, but I'll avoid asking my parents or anyone even slightly hard of hearing to go here.

Honestly I was incredibly disappointed in this restaurant. Everything from the hostess greeting to the end of the meal. The staff was not friendly or welcoming, the hostess was off putting, the waiter spoke so fast we could not understand him, and made the evening feel rushed. We ordered a bottle of wine and the waiter never once filled our glasses. The space is neat for what it is but my friend and I had to yell across our already small table to hear each other. The chairs were uncomfortable and the food got us both sick. Very disappointed and will be sticking to my old faithful dinner spots for future nights out.

The reason for the would not recommend, is due to the noise level. Took business clients and you had to yell and lean over the table to be able to hear. The clients are in their late thirties, she even asked them if they could turn down the volume and they would not. If i am spending $500 on food and drink, i want to be able to have conversation and not having to yell. The food was good, Lobster Fritte was my favorite. The dirty martinis were great. They do not service and coffee, so no after dinner coffee drinks.

Our waiter B was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He made excellent recommendations and checked on us regularly but not too much to be annoying. The food left a little to be desired. It was ok but nothing about it had that wow factor. The rabbit patty melt was the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted. But B made it right and quickly replaced it with the Lobster Frites. Which was good but entirely too many fries. Would have paired better with a mashed potato and vegetable. This place has potential but I think some of the dishes on the menu is just trying too hard to be different.

Overall ok, expected more. Good flavors, but we found it a challenge to fork a gratifying bite. Veggie options are the winners. Experience: As it turned out we weren’t the only guests with aching backs. Looked around and nobody was leaning back. Why? The chairs look great, but press on your back exactly where your kidneys are located. Sitting at attention for an entire meal - no thank you. Did anyone sit in the chairs before buying? Bathroom is another failure. Beware. I’ll only mention the light placement. Who places a hanging light over the sink at 5.5’? Bully Boy We both hit our heads. Final word: Good potential, lots of misses. Cocktails were exceptional and service was very good.
