Interesting concept, great for sharing with friends. The food was excellent and plentiful and the staff very friendly. Only problem was an unpleasant email accusing us of not attending the booking despite us having been shown to the table we booked. Staff need to pay more attention to this!!
the staff was patient and kind, the food was very well made and a good portion and the price was reasonable
I was happy with food and service but not overly impressed.
The waiters will insist in meddling with your grill unsolicited. I guess they are trying to keep the smoke down from over grilling but I found they are too invasive at times.
Also, too dimly lit to the extent you’ll struggle to read what’s on the menu.
I have been to Bullgogi numerous times, and this time we decided to go for the whole Korean barbecue experience. Our server was super helpful with cooking the scallops and the ribeye steaks, both of which were delicious. We had a nice selection of starters, including the Korean fried chicken and the seafood pancakes.
They need to surf out the stairs to the toilet it’s very slippery and dangerous!
Amazing food!! Really different dining experience, quality of produce great! Super delicious!
Go to Bullgogi often as the food, service etc is excellent. All our guests have also enjoyed their experience.
Love the Kimchi, I always order when I visit. Beef Udon and Bullgogi Soup were delicious. No complaints. I am always excited to eat here. Venue is clean, sleek, and modern; makes you feel cool when dining. Do yourself a favour and try the Plum juice and the cinnamon juice, you’ll thank me later.
Excellent food, not the cheapest but was great for a date night. Service was a bit slow around 7:30pm when many other people were being seated at the same time. Really nice plum juice.
We attended Bullgogi again on a busy Friday night.
Excellent food ,good service and modern minimalist decor.
A good ethnic restaurant where half the diners looked Korean which has to bew a good recommendation
Mine and my partners first time visiting. Absolutely loved the food and experience. we got to cook our own meat but also had help from the very friendly staff. Variety of amazing flavours and dishes there are honestly something to die for! We Will absolutely be returning again ❤️
The place is amazing, coozy and chilled..food was amazing, delicious and it was freshly made. I will recommend it any day and I can't wait to go back again. The only thing that needs improvement is that the lights in the bathroom should be brighter.
Good food and good service.
All staff we interacted with were very accommodating.
The toilet was clean but so dim that we could nit really do our make up.
Overall, it is a very nice and affordable restaurant.
Food was good, especially the bbq platter. Very quiet restaurant with nice atmosphere, although a bit too quiet for a Saturday night. One of the deserts was extremely disappointing and a ridiculously small portion for the price. Service can be improved.
Great experience with the burners on table now but can get pricey . Fun with kids . Tofu is the best .
Wonderful food! Great service
Great place with amazing food and really good service
Great as always :)
The staff are lovely, the food was tasty, and the experonc was authentic in my opinion. Overall I had a great time at Bullgogi.
Lovely food, both veggies and meat-eaters were very happy !
I was late and the kitchen was about to close so I couldn’t experience it to the fullest, however I would recommend and the staff is really friendly and the food delicious.
This is a really lovely, relaxing and authentic Korean restaurant. The service was impeccable and friendly. The staff serving us was very knowledgeable and gave good advice about our order. The menu has good variety and selection. It has small dishes, starters, grill dishes, specials, vegetables and dessert. The food was fresh and of good quality. Of particular note is the kimchi pancakes and the grill dishes. We had the short ribs, pork belly and king prawns. All delicious but we were surprised that the pork and prawns were only seasoned with salt and pepper as they were being cooked at the table. Would be better if they had been marinated first. Also some dipping sauces would be nice. The chicken bimbimbap was great too. Overall high quality food at a reasonable price. Would definitely go back again.
Amazing and helpfull waitresses, delicious food, really nice and quiet restaurant. I will definately recommend and go there again:)
Really good food, lovely atmosphere, reasonably priced considered the area and quality of food, drinks especially were relatively cheap.
Amazing as usual. This is our favorite Korean restaurant!
Very nice and original food in a very reasonable price
The food we received was yummy, no complaints. Very tasty and flavourful.
My issue was that the service was slow and they forgot our food and the timing was a bit of an issue for me.
I would recommend this place to a friend, but with the caveat that you can not have high expectations on the service.
Took my dad and my friends to this place to celebrate my graduation- food was amazing, and so was service. My favorite korean place in London 100%
First time to Bullgogi. Me and the wife had always wanted to go there ever since it’s development stages. I wanted to have the Korean experience and I must say the food was absolutely amazing. We ordered the Special BBQ platter which I highly recommend. If it’s your first time there don’t worry the service there was great as the staff there will help you cook your food if you have never done it before. Anyways happy sizzling 👍🏼
This was my second time here, the first time was during the soft opening with the 50% off food. I was extremely disappointed with pretty much everything then, especially with this woman who was working there. When we ordered food, she basically scolded us for not ordering everything at once. She demanded that we needed to order everything now and can’t order any more food later on, which we were completely shocked by. We were so offended and just decided to ignore and try the food. The food was mediocre at best and since it was half price, we ate and left.
On the second time after it’s been open for about a year, the food and the service was still below average at best. Very disappointing Korean cuisine and not very good service. I live very close and being Korean myself, I’ve been an “ambassador” of Korean food in London to all my friends. Many friends have asked me about this restaurant and sadly, I have not and will not be recommending it.
Pleasant younger-scene sort of place, not far from NHG tube. Service rather off-the-case on a quiet lunchtime visit.
Lovely dinner with my rather expert in Korean food family - the service was top notch, and we (we sort of mostly being me) enjoyed the spicy pork bao so much we ordered it again. Delightful.
We didn't know Korean cuisine, so this was a new experience, and a good one. The staff made us feel at home, and explained any dish we didn't understand. The mic of main courses and boxed lunches (similar to a Japanese bento) was good. Three of us had Korean beer, which we enjoyed, and one had a glass of white wine (forget which, but a solid mainstream one). We'll definitely go again.
Outstanding food and amazing Korean coffee! We will return.
I loved the food. Bullgogi a discover and on the contrary of the one we tried in milano this one was awesome and with no garlic
Great food great service
Great Korean food both authentic and with a twist. Highly recommended !
Fuimos a comer y todo fue perfecto. Los camareros muy atentos (uno hablaba español) y la carta más que interesante. Los precios están en la media de lo que es Londres. La comida es deliciosa y de primera calidad. Seguramente volveremos.
We ordered a bibimbap, mackerel gui and spicy pork for our mains which were all delicious :) the barley creme brulee didnt taste much of barley but was still great!
The staff were extra welcoming and made our meal a relaxing and enjoyable one :)
The food was great but to be honest the service was not good - waiters were not attentive + we ordered vegetarian dumplings and they brought out beef dumplings - which my vegetarian friend noticed only after having taken a bite. And then they charged us for it! Kind of annoying.
