Very over priced and small portions! Terrible service from our tapas being served over 30 minutes apart, our main course meals were served over an hour later. Most of our food was cold or room temperature at best. They forgot our daughter's meal, she canceled after waiting over and 1:45 minutes plus. The food was very non eventual very bland tasting... I would recommend another Spanish restaurant like Columbia or many others. We will never return, this is not as great and tasty like it was 3 years ago.
Everything was amazing. We can’t wait to go back! Alysea was our waitress and did an amazing job. She had great knowledge of the menu and knew exactly what to recommend to us. Thank you for a great Father’s Day brunch.
Good food . Prices are fair . Would definitely go back
We went during Restaurant Week in Tampa and chose from their 3 course menu. Everything was flavorful and I enjoyed every single bite. Our server, Maya was also a sweetheart. We will definitely return
Sarah was wonderful!!! Best service
Our server, I think her name was Natalie, was fantastic! Thanks!
Didn't have the wine I wanted which was on the menu. Chef's Board, Patatas Bravas, Steak, and Albingas were awesome! Civiche was the best I've ever had outside Peru. Calamari was rubber and had a strange taste. Chicken croquettes were too runny. Overall really great though. I'm going back. Myha was a great server!
Wonderful food and cocktails
Our server Kristina was fabulous: friendly, efficient, humorous and engaging. We have always enjoyed our meals at Bulla
The service was the best part. Friendly, great personality, flexible, and gracious.
Great food, great waiter (Jason) and good prices.
Good wasn’t prepared as well as it normally is, but overall great.
Great service, delicious food and nice atmosphere
Perhaps it’s abetted drinking spot than a place to grab a good meal. We had the grilled octopus which was overcooked. The cheese plate was good but you can’t go wrong with cheese since it’s not prepared there. Overall, it was fair. Not worth a return visit
The best service we’ve had anywhere since the pandemic began! Great food too!
I ordered a glass of champagne when we arrived and it took over 15 minutes for the server to notify me that it was sold out. After that, I ordered a lemongrass Collins, based on the description and pictures of the drink from Yelp. After another 15 minutes, we ordered two tapas. We then added two more on the next time the server was over. We received all four plates before the drink arrived and when it arrived, it was missing the cucumber and lemongrass and we were told the bar was out of the ingredients. It’s a very loud and rowdy place and I’m 31, so it’s not like I’m coming from a place of someone who is much older. I would never return and would recommend to others that they spend their money somewhere else. The food was mediocre at best.
Natalie was a fantastic server! Menu was wonderful, drinks were delicious. We will be back again.
We love Bulla!! It’s one of our favorite restaurants.
It was our third anniversary. It's a chic Spanish restaurant with a good vibe. After dinner, we went up to the roof top and it's such a fun place to hangout. The crowd was friendly and everyone seem to be having a good time. Cool place to bring friends. We'll definitely be going back.
The food was ok, the eggplant was not seasoned properly at all, literally not salt on it, and the sauce it came with was strangely sweet. The jalapeno ceviche was the best part of our meal but we didn't taste any jalapeno, it wasn't spicy at all. The cheeses we tried were great and so was the salmon carpaccio but nothing to write home about. The margarita tasted like pure sour mix and it wasn't house made sour mix so it wasn't good, I sent it back and got a glass of wine. Overall the place feels really corporate, just not our style. There was hardly anyone in there while the place across the street had a line out the door. The highlight was our server, who did an impeccable job and took very good care of us. Also, their happy hour was a good deal. We made the most of our dining experience but we would not go back.
Food was excellent. Two of us ordered 3 different items off of the tapas menu and then shared the mixtos paella. It was more than enough for 2 people. Happy hour drinks every day until 7pm. We sat on the dining side but there was a hopping bar scene.
Jeff was amazing and attentive and made our experience amazing! Thank you!
Amazing gem in SoHo! Fun, lively atmosphere with a great selection of food that will cater to any palate.
Service was subpar in every single sense... a Martini served warm in a water glass because “ we’re out of martini glasses”. A chewy rubbery grilled
Octopus, a Potato tortilla with close to zero potatoes and a Paella pit of a box with uncooked rice and chicken from the week before.. Safe to say never again! Bulla in Coral Gables is much better!
Parking was a nightmare! They need to let customers know where to park and find a way to make it easier
Made a reservation and had to wait 30 min before we were seated and the restaurant was extremely under staffed but the food was great
I am writing this review in a negative manner because I think people out there need to know what happened when I tried to dine at bulla Gastrobar. I drove one hour in from the beaches and I drove one hour all around the block and kept driving around the block and kept driving around the block. My friend sat in the restaurant and I had to finally call her out to get in my car and then we were stuck at 8:30 pm at night trying to find a place to eat on a Saturday. This restaurant owner should alert their patrons about parking and making proper arrangements. My Saturday was a total disappointment and ruined. I finally found a place in Tampa at 9:30 at night for dinner and I was supposed to be at CW’s too enjoying music that evening which we never did make it thank you so much Bulla
for the wonderful weekend I’m being sarcastic. Also if they respond that they have a parking deck you better only have a mini Cooper or a Nissan leaf because that’s all that’s going to fit in those spaces . I tried I have a Mercedes SUV it would not fit and even a small SUV would not fit so that’s a bunch of bull too.
Tapas were excellent. Had the bacon and chorizo wrapped dates—amazing. The fried artichoke, ham croquettes and lentil soup were all awesome. The sauces that come with the tapas are perfect compliments. Our server was so friendly and attentive. It’s a little pricey, but if you share with a friend it works out. We shared the three tapas and each had a soup and it was plenty. Will go back! :)
Great food and waitress Bambi was great!!!
We enjoy the food, the staff and the Sangria. Have gone multiple times and will be back again.
This place was perfect for brunch! Our server was very attentive and consistent in checking in with us. The food and drinks were great. I look forward to coming back to experience dining on the rooftop.
Lunch at Bulla is very unlike the dinner experience. None of the delicious Spanish dishes I've had for dinner there are on the lunch menu, just pedestrian sandwiches and the like. I should have checked the menu online ahead of time. I specified a low table in my reservation but we were seated at a high table anyway, even with 90% of the restaurant empty. I chose the Fútbol Club from the limited menu and it was dry and leathery and expensive. The sides options are chips, fries (really cubed potatoes) and rice, that is, starch, starch or starch, which I really didn't want to go with my breaded chicken sandwich. Music was also obnoxiously loud, making conversation difficult, and the service was brusque and glacially slow. Overall a disappointing experience that makes me unlikely to return, even for dinner. I would not recommend Bulla for lunch if you want Spanish food because you won't get it. I will
Best food and especially best cocktails
Food was amazing. Great salads, paella and small plates. Can’t go wrong. Even dessert was very tasty.
Somethings on the menu have changed, I use to look forward to the hummus and queso fundido every time i’d go. this past time was disappointing, hummus was very bland, had so much sauce on top i guess to disguise the blandness, was served ice cold. Queso is now called something else but assumed the dish would stay the same, was very watery, not much chorizo at all or cheese. Portion sizes have definitely been cut drastically. Ordered 4 tapas to share with my boyfriend and we both left hungry still which was very shocking as past times we could barely walk out.
Bailey was a great server. She provided a memorable experience for me and my wife.
Had a lovely evening. Food was great, service was great and the outdoor space is wonderful.
Our waiter was awesome and the food even more amazing!!!
