Great place for food & drinks amazing service
Nice place, testy food, good cocktails
Average food service, atmosphere.
Don't like to go back again, good for one time
Great place...food, feel and ambience were all great! Make sure you share so you can try a little of everything. Bacon wrapped dates and the Spanish Old Fashioned we're my faves.
Food came out in a timely manner. George was a pleasure. We appreciated the anniversary churros.
Will be back
We were pleasantly surprised to find a Spanish restaurant in Plano. The Legacy West district is known for their eateries. The staff were all friendly and attentive. The menu choices were perfect array of tapas and main dishes. The seafood paella was amazing! The sangria was spot-on and refreshing. We started with Chef’s Board, which included jamon, chorizo, cheeses, olives, walnuts. A great start. We’ll certainly be back for more!
The food came out almost instantly. Everything was delicious! Great place to try new things and not be disappointed. The small plates are fairly portioned.
Amazing as ever! Loved the service, food, and overall atmosphere. Wonderful!
Great food! Fun to share small dishes.
AD the server was fantastic! Will ask for him again next time!
Great service and staff.
Great food and atmosphere!
Food was great, cocktails and wines are also absolutely wonderful. Ambient noise was bare-able. Outdoor seating were full that probably contribute to a bit of slowness in servicing especially when waitstaffs are working both in and outdoor.
Service is a little slow at times, may be due to shortness of experienced staffs as well but it is nothing big to complain about. Although some little details could be improve when asking for small things such as serving spoons or hot sauce and did not get them until our food was almost gone. I did mentioned when made reservation that this is for my birthday but no one at the restaurant seems to recognized the special occasion or even ask about it.
Overall I will still recommend the place because of the good selection of tapas and a good atmosphere.
Very attentive service from Jorge.
Four of us travelled to Plano to sample the offerings at Bulla. The Chef's Board had a good selection of meats and cheeses. We ordered the Paella Mixta which was on the table soon and it was delicious. This from somebody (me) that makes Paella. George, our waiter was very attentive. In all a great experience that we would like to repeat to sample the other menu items.
Birthday. I had a wonderful time and good and serving
We went out with friends and had a great time. Shareable plates are always fun. The food came out quickly and the drinks were so good!
our waiter was very kind and he ensured we understood how the restaurant worked and made excellent suggestions
Bulla Gastrobar is a great place to eat/drink & enjoy time together with no restrictions.
Generally sub-par experience. Food was not as good as other Bullas we have been to, and generally the service was slow and not particularly friendly. Too many better options just a few doors walk away / would not recommend.
Great food, a little pricey (but to be expected at that quality.) Service was prompt, attentive, and outstanding. Selection was great. Overall a perfect evening!
Always great Spanish food…atmosphere is clean and modern, and food is done well, comes out timely, and no issues. Wait staff needs to smile and pretend to enjoy it more - but they are attentive and quick to fill drinks and check on you - which is by far the most important thing! Deserts need a bit more Spanish flair, flan needs more syrup/carmelized sugar…
Otherwise we have been before and will go again!
Sent back a dish for undercooked shrimp, artichoke tapas was too salty, food is average at best. I won't be back. I have given this place several tries and they just don't hit the mark.
Ambiance better than the tapas. Better tapas in Spain.
Our server took time to explain the menu and answer any questions we had. She followed up with us often but not in an annoying way. We never felt rushed.
We will return.
Worst service I've had in a restaurant in decades. Our waitress was new - and she first got the wrong bottle of wine, then brought the wrong appetizer and denied bringing the wrong one because she didn't understand the menu enough to know which one was which. Told us we were out of the wine we wanted so suggested another one that was over twice the cost (we found out when the bill arrived)- and stood over our table awkwardly trying to open the bottle for 3-5 minutes while making us feel really uncomfortable eavesdropping on our entire conversation.
It was just a hot mess of a meal from beginning to end - and her begging us to do a guest survey for her at the end of it all was mind boggling. We opted to skip dessert and walk across the street to Del Frisco's for drinks and dessert instead!
Amazingly authentic and delivers what I loved about our last trip to Spain - sharing tasty tapas & enjoying wonderful wine in a great atmosphere.
Love the food at atmosphere. Server was friendly but rather slow and not attentive. Not sure if that’s due to staffing shortages, so try to be understanding about that. Overall, love the food and cocktails here and would definitely go back.
Outstanding food, great weather and ambiance on the patio. Gage was very attentive and helpful without being overbearing or pushy. Had a fantastic date night with my wife and look forward to doing it again soon.
I would not return. The type of music they have blaring does not match the food they are serving. Will not return
We had a really good time, we ended up over there for work and randomly decided to eat there and we were thoroughly excited
Our waitress was amazing and unfortunately I didn’t write her name down and forgot it. I think it might be Carmen or Camille…. She was training a new employee and did great juggling us between tables and our requests. We were celebrating a friend’s promotion and wanted to eat outside but there were no tables. When we ordered our first drink, one became available and she kept our table. . Also staff was very friendly and accommodating in helping us move tables, surprise my friend and answer all of our questions. The food was great, we tried lots of tapas and cocktails and even if someone didn’t love something, someone else at the table liked it. It’s hard to name my favorite other than my favorite cocktail was the lavender margarita. We will be back!
Great service, ambiance, and tapas. From the fish, to the jalapeño, peppers, etc. place is legit.
Excellent Friday evening date night with my husband. The tapas and sangria made for a fun and delicious ending to the workweek. The patio seating was comfortable and provided a safe dinning experience. Most of all our server, Jorge was attentive, knowledgeable and made our evening special.
Brian was great, friendly and attentive service. The stuffed dates were amazing. The tortilla needed salt and to be cooked longer. The lentils needed some salt too. Paella was great. Overall, very happy.
It was date night with my Husband. We love Bulla. It’s a go to for us for sure. The food & drinks are always awesome. And Brian our server was great. We will ask for him next time we go.
Had a wonderful dinner with a friend we were not rushed and wait services was outstanding!
Great Place .. Our server Isaiah was great .. Food was fabulous, drinks are awesome, reasonably priced. It's become a regular place for us.
What a wonderful place this is. It's great to be able to have the opportunity to make a meal of small plates! And the drinks are always clever and delightful.
Food generally is good. The Paella is excellent.
For drinks the margaritas are good, but you will enjoy the sangrias, red or white.
This time we had calamari for appetizer, those were not good. Taste like they use old oil to fried.
For desert the Flan with a passion fruit ice cream is great.
The server Jorge gave us an excellent service.
