Great variety of tapas plates. Not all options on the menu were available. Slow service; however, some of it was due to making the food fresh.
Came here for a double date brunch and was so impressed! The atmosphere was great, amazing service (loved our waitress), and the food was incredible. Great prices and great servings. I've already recommended this spot to friends and can't wait to be back!
Good food and service. They were out of the wine I wanted. I didn’t care for the octopus dish, but loved the calamari and the meatballs b
We love Bulla. Definitely our go-to restaurant for Tapas and wine in Midtown. Try the Paella, you'll love it.
Nice brunch menu
Our waiter Wendy was amazing: super friendly, gave us lots of great recommendations, and just generally fun to be around. We stuck to small plates and wine, and were very pleased with everything we ordered. We will definitely return next time we’re in town!
Excellent, all around.
Great bar service in a good neighborhood spot.
Service was terrible and the restaurant wasn’t very full. The food was ok, nothing out of this world. I wouldn’t go back.
My wife and I were in Midtown for a wedding and we were looking for a place to have brunch the day after. We both love Spanish fare and Bulla did not disappoint. We were greeted and seated right away, the wait staff was on their game and knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant was modern bistro, upscale casual, and spotless. Best of all the food was great! We'll be back and we highly recommend you give this place a try.
Restaurant was to hot 🥵 food was good , some of the things we would order they were out of , like not one but like 2 to 3 thinking the menu . Which we were OK which until we ordered dessert and waited 15 minutes only for it to be taken away because it was the wrong dessert, then waited 15 minutes, no communication, no dessert, we then decided to just get the check but had to get up to ask the hostess to get out waitress and tell her forget the dessert just bring the check. 2 minutes pas still no waitress and no communication from anyone😤 so I then get up my self and go get someone , anyone ❓ while my 3 other friends dicided to go to the restroom. She finally came over and started throwing out excuses and that’s when I just lost it an said I also work in the service industry and this was TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE ‼️‼️ She then got the manager which also took about 10 more minutes. Total 45 minutes just trying to get the check patiently . Would not advise anyone to go here if you’re on a timeline or expect good service ‼️‼️👎🏽
I was not impressed with the food at Bulla. My family and I love the tapas concept, but we thought that the tapas options were not all that exciting or unique. The flavors were fine, but nothing was outstanding, even though the prices were quite high. For example, we ordered a $10 shrimp option that tasted like something we could've easily made at home. It was also tiny and consisted of nothing but a handful of small shrimp and a few ounces of oil with pepper flakes and garlic. We ended up ordering less than needed to fill us up because we were so unimpressed with the first things that came out. I should add, though, that the paella that someone at the table next to us looked delicious. But I would not recommend the tapas here. Barcelona is definitely superior in that regard.
Awesome food and great service. They took a little time with the steak but apologized and comped it.
Engaging wait staff, great food in a comfortable setting.
Not cheap but OVER -THE-TOP tasty! Exceptional! Want to go back... for sure.
We were seated upstairs which was perfect for a more subdued noise level and good conversation. Our waiter was always nearby as we enjoyed our meal
Our waiter, Julian, did a fabulous job walking us though the cocktail and food menus. We had one party member with allergies, and the kitchen and waitstaff were knowledgeable and accommodating, making substitutions when possible, or steering us clear of dangerous items.
We had a huge variety of items on their menu and we were not disappointed with any of them.
Start with the chef’s board, and add the Leonora cheese. YUM!
We sampled large and small plates and enjoyed the variety of grilled octopus, calamari,, deliciously flavored churrasaco with it’s unique potato terrine, the tender filet with it’s tasty grits and the piece de resistance, the Paella, was lick -the -pan clean!
Great food and service. Not too busy when we went this time but usually more crowded in the past experiences. Kathryn our server was great. Very energetic and personable.
Great!! Best besides being in spain
The entire experience was excellent! We loved the food, the drinks and ambiance. Pacing of tapas from the kitchen was great and service was great. Look forward to going back!
Great place for a group of 4. Probably not conducive to a larger group given the dish sizes. Ordered a ton of food and some people had drinks, check came out to ~$100, which is probably the least expensive tapas meal I’ve had. Food was also very good.
This has quickly become my favorite place to eat in the city.
The service was excellent, but the food was only mediocre. We are big fans of tapas restaurants, but the food preparation here was lacking. If you haven't had tapas before, Bulla would be worth going to for a change of pace. I assume, though, that Atlanta has better tapas elsewhere.
Had a mailer for a discount. They were happy to accept it. The food was good. The drinks were tasty. Definitely a good place to go with friends/family to share plates. I was in a date. The ambiance scored me extra points.
Great server, friendly energetic
food was interesting and tasty
we seat quickly with our reservation
Ordered a pitcher of sangria; the pitcher was filled to the top with ice. The sangria barely filled the 4 small cocktail glasses (mostly ice in the cocktail glass as well). I'd recommend skipping the sangria and going with traditional cocktails.
The atmosphere is great, beautiful restaurant. What we had was good but our service was so bad we didn’t get to eat much. Our reservation was for 2 at 5:45 and by 7:15 we had two appetizers and one round of drinks. It took an hour and 15 mins for two small plates. We had to cancel our other food that was put in bc we had somewhere to be at 7:30.
It was our first dining experience at this restaurant. Great food, great service, reasonable price, Good Location, Free Parking. No negatives
Wonderful food and excellent service. I highly recommend any of their specialty cocktails and the croquettes and cannelloni are to die for
We've dined here several times and always find the tapas to be very good. This time we decided to try the paella and were disappointed. More rice than anything and just not up to the standard that we experience with their tapas. Server was very friendly and engaging but seemed too busy to deliver the service that he seemed to want give. He has waited on us before. We will definitely return but stick with the tapas.
Bulla was absolutely fantastic. Our entire party was thrilled with the food and drink, and it was so much fun to share the tapas so we could taste a variety of dishes. I completely recommend this wonderful find!
Our server was really good but the service overall was extremely slow. I ordered one soup and they were out of it so the kitchen decided to give me another soup and not tell me nor my server. Weird. Fortunately I don’t have allergies and the soup tasted alright, but can’t say I’d go back. This was the short version of the story, but I’m sure you get the point.
We came with a large group and shared many plates between our group. Great food and everything tasted amazing.
The choices of food and wine were exceptional. Both
food and wine were excellent. The staff was fri3ndly,
helpful and efficient. The ambiance was upscale
It was fantastic and Lucy is a great waitress.
Seated by the door in a cold rainy night, we were ignored for some time. I approached staff and once a server was found, the night went well. Tapas and entrees if you want - all very good.
A little cold sitting by the door, but worth it! Great drinks & good tapas! We’ll be back!
Food was very good!
Cool place with some great food combinations! I also like the variety of wine.
Lucy was our awesome server and the brunch was amazing!
