Great food! Loved the small plates and the Paella was fantastic!
Nothing memorable about this dinning experience other than the fact that they were out of many dishes including all desserts. Don’t buy into the hype.
I loved this place!
Prompt service. They consider the location that I wanted. Our server was very attentive and efficient.
Chorizo stuffed dates wrapped in bacon! YES!!! Great date night experience.
The food lacked flavor and authenticity. The seafood paella was gummy and had absolutely no soccarat. The skirt steak was tough as leather. The highlight was the wait staff and cocktails; stick to those.
We had a great first time here last night & loved the food. Very quick tapas and great service.
18th birthday celebration for our daughter! The restaurant was recommended by a friend! The atmosphere was lively and festive but not too loud. The food was authentic and delicious! The portion of the Charrusco grits was a bit small for sharing given the price. The spirited beverages tasted great as well and a portion of the sale went to charity. Our server Sydnee H was excellent!! She was warm, animated, lively and engaging. She made the experience even more special!
Overall, this restaurant gets 5 stars. Can’t wait until the upstairs opens up. We will definitely return and highly recommend Bulla!
Our server was fantastic! She was 21 and had a beautiful lover name, apologies I don’t recall it but she and the food will keep us coming back in the future!
An item we ordered never came out of the kitchen, the kale caesar salad - the staff tried to give us a salad we didn't order after all the other food was already eaten and we sent it back and just removed the salad from the bill. we were told the kitchen had run out of kale but no one said anything to us before trying to deliver a different item, which was weird. The food that did come was decent - the ceviche was mostly just sour. We asked for hot sauce to add to it and the server gave us a whole jalapeno pepper... The best thing we ate was the tartare, and the moscow mules were good. If I went back, I'd sit at the bar. I wouldn't go for a sit down meal.
As usual the meatballs were delicious and the best red sangria in town!
Thank you so much
Estuve ahi por mi cumpleaños con mi familia. Todo estuvo expectacular y rico.
Upon arriving the host (older gentleman) didn't seem happy to greet us, didn't leave a good impression that we were welcomed at the restaurant.
Server was great, ordered Spanish Old Fashioned but was served with Spanish Margarita, this was quickly remedied. Food choices were great. Some items were out but we were able to get others to enjoy. Overall service can be better especially at the host level.
Good variety to choose from. Service was a little slow at times but waitress was very pleasant.
Great place for brunch on a Sunday. $3 mimosas and a set menu for $28 where you choose a first second and dessert from a list of 6 things in each section. It was a nice day to sit outside but inside looked as well. Enjoyed it
We enjoyed our experience at Bulla very much! The food was delicious and the service from our waitress was outstanding! We are looking forward to going back again!
Made a reservation for a dinner date with a girlfriend. We both wanted Iberian Pig but decided to try something less expensive and new. I was THRILLED with our server(who had strong lead server vibes), the flavors and textures and presentation, the portions, and the atmosphere. We did move to a table available that we preferred, and that really made the experience the best for our lady date, as the table next to us likely didn’t want to hear the details of our respective weekends. We had the chef’s board, ceviche, and the stuffed dates, good cocktails. The ceviche serving was bigger than we expected and we didn’t make it past three menu items. Bigger than expected, but not like the gross amount of ceviche that makes you question it. I want to take my boyfriend back soon, so many things I want to try on the menu, I’ll need help eating it all. Great experience for a first time visit to a restaurant in that part of midtown. It was pretty chill.
The service started out fine, but it went poorly after the first 1/2 hour.
We went with family who had never eaten there nor Spanish cuisine. We were disappointed to be told they were out of churros and croquetas. Then we ordered a tabla of meat and cheese that never came. We had a brunch paella that was very good but not filling to over come not getting our appetizer. We ordered 2 flans and they brought one. The sangria was very good and served on time. The manager apologized and made a decent adjustment to our bill but our brunch was subpar. I wouldn’t go back
We had a nice outside table for Sunday brunch. The 3 course option was a fun way to to try different things and was a good value too. Everything we had was delicious and decent portion sizes too. All of the staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful. The only complaint I can make is that at 1:00 they were already sold out of a few of our first choices. I’m sure I’ll be back to try them another visit.
Decent service, decent ambiance, decent service ~ but overall a fairly disappointing experience ... not the "Spanish"/European atmosphere that was I hoping for but rather an uninspired urban setting with sensory overload. There is nothing inherently Spanish about Beyoncé music or college football games on the big screen televisions ... It would also be nice if the floor was better swept. The patio would have been a bit more pleasant if it was cleaner. The food was good, however, even if the Mediterranean salad was over salted and even if the Sangrias were fairly tiny, had little fruit, and hardly any "kick." In general, it was not really worth the money that was spent. I am not from Atlanta, so I won't be back. But I won't go back even if I should ever return there.
Great service, good food and flavors
This was our first time to this restaurant and we were very impressed by the service and delicious food. Lindsey..our waitress was very knowledgeable and made our evening very enjoyable. We will definitely be returning.
Everyone and everything was amazing and we definitely will return.
Date night prior to Hamilton. This place was suggested by my 21 year old so I was skeptical. But alas, I was wrong. Nice Spanish small plates, good cutting drinks …. Didn’t hit the wine list except to order a Chardonnay by the glass which was fine to excellent! Sat outside which was surprisingly un-ATL like and very pleasant.
It's always a good choice to eat here. Make a reservation; they are short-staffed. Please be patient. The food is excellent and well worth it. Patatas bravas (vegetarian friendly) and the churros (a delicious fried treat) are a must.
I had a great time with my boyfriend for his birthday! Food was amazing!
Brunch with friends
This was our first visit for my birthday brunch. Although we were seated right away, the service went down from there. The waiter was friendly; however, it took over an hour to bring one plate of scrambled eggs with cheese. The food came out one by one and was told that all the food is made in different sections. Customers that came in after us seemed to get their food faster by the other servers. We got seated at 1210 and finally got our 1st plate of food at 1245. One of my girlfriends and myself ordered the same appetizer; they brought mine and hers came out 10 mins later. We WILL NOT RETURN.
Great sampling of food. Happy hour was from 3-6 which gave us an opportunity to get some cheaper drinks. Food was well seasoned, tasty, and prompt.
Service was great. Team of servers covered every aspect. Not like other places that only have one server to cover everything. Here, the team fills water, picks up plates, and the main server takes orders. Well organized service. I was well taken care of.
All around, I would recommend to anyone for a great night out.
Excellent food and service. Fantastic wine list. Can’t wait to return.
Great shrimp tapas. The sangria was wonderful and the service was excellent
Consistent good food. We've brought friends and colleagues to dine with us and Bulla is ALWAYS a hit! Serving team is fantastic as well.
uneven service, out of some menu choices, orders came to the table at different times making dining awkward
Great experience! Although they are struggling with having enough staff like everyone else since the lockdowns, they did a great job!
Any of the tapas you choose, it’s going to be finger-licking good!
My daughter birthday and the waitress was great and super friendly
I came with a couple friends on a Wednesday night. The food was great. We came around 8:30 and sat on the patio. Wait was only about 10-15 minutes. The scenery was great. Our service was a little subpar. We had ayesha. I could tell it was just our server and not the others. She would disappear at times, took about 20 minutes to come back with water even though she came back outside about 3 times. We just felt a little ignored. Even the server who was next to her outside checked on us more than our actual server.
