Diamond was our server. Gave amazing recs and service
Very good date spot! Wasn’t to crazy about the grilled chicken flat bread. Perfect size portions for two to share though.
Food took a long time to come out but it was very delicious when it did. My service was great overall.
The food and atmosphere were good. The service was the poorest I’ve had in a long, long time. For example, our waiter checked on us only twice for the entire meal after taking our order. My water glass sat empty the entire meal. Our food arrived before our drinks even did (and we ordered those ahead of the meal). I literally had to get up and find our waiter just to close the tab after waiting around for over fifteen minutes after we were done eating for him to return.
2/3 meals very good. One (Huevos Rancheros) the egg white wasn’t cooked. Sent it back, making clear what the issue was and that runny yolk was what we wanted, and got back eggs that were then overdone / hard yolk.
3rd time they were perfectly cooked, and the manager handled it extremely well and ensured we were happy with the result.
A little frustrating, but overall an enjoyable experience, and we will go back because they recovered well.
We have enjoyed mother's Day brunch at Bulla the last two years. Their menu is great because it allows my husband and I to enjoy some really unique and delicious plates but they also have good basic items for the kids. The restaurant is a great location for spending the afternoon in Midtown as well. They will validate parking for the garage next door. I very much enjoy this restaurant and look forward to going back.
Great patio and very good service. White sangria and gazpacho are excellent. The rest of the menu, and I’ve sampled almost every tapas and pintxo, is very unremarkable. Been there many times b/c location is great and it’s very nice to sit on the patio for drinks. Food really needs an upgrade.
Our server was nice and friendly. It did take a but if time to get my second dink, but not sure how busy the bar was. We were going to have the paella, but we were running late and just ordered 4 tapas; the chicken croquettes, montaditos, ham croquettes, they were rather bland. No spice and they had no real flavor. They came with what we were told was some sort of aoli that had mayo and eggs. Well mayo is made from eggs. Anyway, it was bland and flavorless. It did nothing for the chicken croquettes, which were already bland. Next the Montaditos; they were on thicker slices of a baguette, some were too thick. The brisket should have been better. The tomato marmalade, on top, was not bad. Then there were the ham croquettes, not too bad overall; but could have have used more flavor. They came with a fig jelly which was very nice. Last we had the cannelloni which was fantastic. It was cheesy and it had nice flavors. The cannelloni was the best out of the 4. Overall I could only recommend the cannelloni tapas; nothing else. I was thinking about going back to try the paella; not going to risk it will go somewhere else.
Took my parents to lunch and they said it was the best restaurant we’ve ever chosen. The food was great and our server was awesome!
Great tapas and rose! Sitting out on the patio and relaxing is so nice. The potatoes and kale salad is my favorite.
Our second time to this Bulla. Pretty disappointed. Several of the dishes were off temperature, supposed to be hot, but came out either room temperature or cold. Drink service took forever. Lex, our server, was very nice, but she was clearly over worked with tables inside and also on the patio, not even close. She apologized for the delay in the drinks, but never asked why several of our dishes were uneaten. All in all, not a good experience. Go in the afternoon when they are not busy, they can't seem to handle success.
The food was great, like far exceeded my expectations. I'm based in LA but would definitely go back on my next visit to Atlanta. I highly recommend the Stuffed Shishito Peppers, Pan De Cristal Con Tomate, Garlic Shrimp, and my absolute favorite the Montaditos!
My drinks were great! The bullrider is amazing!
absolutely wonderful service and the food and drink were perfect for a romantic evening
The food is good and the drinks are as well. They have lots of waiters but seem to have forgotten about staffing food runners. As a result of having an open kitchen, you can sit and watch several servers standing around while food is waiting to be taken to tables.
This has become one of my favorite restaurants. The sangria Blanca is the best Sangria I’ve ever had.
Diamond, our server, was amazing. The food is sooo fresh here that it's difficult to believe that you're still in Atlanta. Just go, relax, and order the tapas, one or two at a time, and enjoy a long meal and good conversation. Seriously good food and hospitable people.
Great place to spend time with your girl friends . Highly recommended!!! Food and service was outstanding.
Server was rude at the bar ! Rolled his eyes when we asked to order dinner! Never followed up on drinks ! Just unfortunate!
Great food and service! Definitely coming back!
Food was outstanding, drinks even better. We had a group of 6 and the tapas were perfect for sharing. Would absolutely go back.
Highly recommended!! Very good food!! I love the ambience and you can stay there forever oh my god , i dont want to go.
Super fun atmosphere and amazing food. Service was on point. I highly recommend DeAndre. The bulls eggs and tuna tartare was delicious. Can't forget the churros.
Manager is awesome and come and greets you to make sure that you have what you need. Very nice global-neighborhood feel.
The food was average, nothing spectacular.
The waiting time for dessert to arrive was 30 min (it was a cake) and we asked for more bread that never came to the table
So good! Creative dishes, great wine, fun vibe.
This restaurant is awesome. The service, food and drinks are great... always very consistent.
Service was slow. Took waiter a while to get to us and then longer to get drinks. Food was ok - nothing great and for the price wasn't there
Fun but loud in main dining room. Prompt and cheerful service. Ordered 4 tapas dishes for 2 people, which was plenty. Stuffed shishito peppers and patatas bravas (spicy!) were excellent, ceviche was good, calamari nothing special. Wanted to try the paella, but it takes 45 minutes. Next time.
Food at Bulla is very good. However, the service is very spotty. (Forgetting to input some of our tapas order/having dessert come out before one of the entree items/forgetting some dish modifications requested). Also, prices are high and we left not feeling full - but that's the risk you take with tapas.
Service was great. Tapas were quite good. They validate parking in the garage shared with the building that houses the restaurant.
Food was awesome, and service by Gabi was great to. Will definitely come back.
Very nice for conversation
Food was really excellent
Awesome food and ambiance! Tapas were excellent and good mix of options.
My only complaint is that we got almost our entire meal and still hasn't gotten our drinks, which was just disappointing. The bar didn't look super busy, but obviously it was understaffed. The food was great, I would definitely go again.
This place was delicious! I lived in Spain and this place was as close to being back I've ever gotten.
What a great Birthday surprise , Excellent service, fantastic authentic SPANISH cuisine. More than ample potions on the small plates so go easy until you see what you get. Food is cooked to order so go with the flow and enjoy this great spot. Vegetarians accommodated with ease The 5 star service is almost as good as the food. Enjoy this awesome addition to Midtown Dining scene!
I’ve been here before and I loved it. The night i actually made a reservation was the total opposite. After being seated, we waited 15 minutes and no one came to greet us. Tables around us were being taken care of but no one even asked if we had been helped. I brought a friend with me & it was their first time there and i was so disappointed that their first impression of this restaurant was that no one cares. We left after waiting 20 minutes. The time before was awful too but swept it under the rug & told myself the bar probably isnt a good area to sit bc theyre so busy.
Great authentic tapas restaurant, trust me...I’m a Spaniard
