Bulerias Tapas Humboldt Park WOW District
The food was very good! We started our dinner with the olive appetizer, they had a distinct lemony flavor, loved them. The spicy potato’s accompanied our skirt steak entree. The steak was perfectly cooked, it had a caramelized taste which I’m not particularly a fan of but it was good. The bacon wrapped shrimp were ok, they were a bit salty in my opinion but I guess they contrast the sweetness from the steak. The spicy potatoes were spicy! I love spicy! I think it’s great that they offer the option for the spicy sauce on the side for those who are not into the heat. The red sangria was amazing, probably the best I’ve ever had. I wish we had room for desert because their apple tarte sounded amazingly delicious, next time!
Excellent food. Excellent service. Really nice room. I would go again and certainly recommend
A great place for a date or to mingle with friends. I will go there again. I loved the music in the background as well. Very trendy.
Food was amazing, skirt steak and shrimp. Service was great as well.
Our server paid special care and guided us through a wonderful tapas experience.
Very good food. A little high priced on a few of the items, but we were prepared for that. Surprised at the amount of availability. Only 4 occupied tables at dinner time on a Saturday. The service was a little slow, but we ordered quite a few dishes, so we didn’t mind that much. Many options on the menu, requires multiple visits to try everything that looked good, so will probably be returning soon to try more.
Great new place, we went on a very quiet night, only ones there but it just opened 5 months ago. Food was excellent and a great value! Good ambiance and service. We will definitely return!
Came here with a group of 14 for my 30th birthday and we were very well taken care of. Plus the food and drinks were fantastic!
Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the ingredients in the dishes and I love that the menu was labeled with gluten free, vegan, etc as someone who has celiacs! Also the food was delicious and the desserts were excellent! We’ll absolutely be back
Relatively new restaurant that had friendly staff and a very good tapas menu. The size of the plates were good value for the price. The chicken croquettes were excellent. Will definitely go again.
We have been to their location on Ashland and tried the new location. Food was good service great. We will be back.
We arrived at around 830 and were excited to try a new tapas place. Ordered our favorite tapas... to our disappointment the first three they were out. The place was not packed and we could not understand how they could be out of patatas bravas and octopus.. decide to try other plates. Sangrias was expensive for the amount serve. Tapas were smaller than we are used too and pricey..
Food was delicious and I'm happy there's another restaurant like this in the neighborhood. The only reason I didn't give all 4 and 5 stars is that the service was lacking - our reservation was at 8:15, we didn't get seated until 8:30; we put in our order soon after and didn't get our first dish until 9pm. What I noticed is that the 2 servers were acting as hosts, bartenders, servers and runners...on a Saturday night! I think 2 more people would have solved the issue. I hope they address this (as I know other people have noted this issue in their reviews) soon! If so, it'll be one of our go-to spots!
The filete was amazing!
Food was good. Service was not
Great spot! Food was seriously outstanding. Our server was incredible once we were seated but we stood around for 10 minutes waiting for a host/hostess and we finally had to go to the bar to let them know we had a reservation and then we still waited. Despite the initial hiccup, it was an incredible meal and would highly recommend. PS - the cocktails are delish and lethal.
Great food and service and very good value for quality! I would definitely go back!
