The lovely room was inviting, and the wait staff very friendly. The food was authentic, and in Manhattan where you can find anything, truly unique cuisine.

Food took way too long for lunch - almost 40min for 2 dishes in a 3/4 empty restaurant. . My other half had to leave before food arrived and therefore wasn’t able to eat.

We loved everything about this restaurant. The Hostess was lovely upon arrival and the waitstaff was great. The food was simply delicious and we would definitely come back again. It's so convenient because of it's proximity to the theaters especially the Hudson Theater which is next door. I have and will continue to recommend this restaurant.

The service was great. My soup was delicious, but the duck was dry, but everything else was good.

Great location right beside the Hudson theatre. Food is very reasonably priced, wine is expensive by comparison. However we weren’t happy with the $60 bottle of Pinot noir and Stan the manager kindly gave us a different bottle. I would definitely recommend this restaurant

What a rare find! A quiet restaurant in the Times Square area?! My girlfriends and I picked this restaurant for our pre-theater dinner. We had never had Singaporean food, and we loved it! The prawns were actually prawns and not just shrimp. We ordered noodles, spinach, spring rolls and prawn appetizers. The food was fresh and nicely presented. The tables were spaced far apart and we were able to talk to and hear each other. Our waiter was lovely and so accommodating. I'm am looking forward to my next meal here.

Service was disappointing. Had to wait despite a reservation, then server took a long time to bring water etc. Laksa was very good, but duck was like sawdust. Strangest thing was when we were paying I asked to see the bill again before I put pin into credit card machine. Server REFUSED. He spoke very rudely when I explained I hadn’t seen the bill and still refused.
I paid ;without seeing bill, then left. No need to speak to customers that way especially when I made a reasonable request. Do not recommend

This is a differentoption in a relatively weak dining area called the theater district. Indonesian food coupled with some western options works out. The food is light and quite tasty. The rice dish and noodles were good. The Caesar salad was excellent. I’d go back to try a few more light fare items.

They advertise Signaproe food and it so far from tasting anything like that. And the chicken was raw.....

Nice quiet setting steps from Broadway theaters. Menu has lots of healthy options and entrees are spicy, but delicious. Prices are reasonable for the Theater District.

We liked the varied menu, most dishes were very tasty. My Nasi goreng was nicely spiced but Ihad to ask for salt because the overall taste needed something like soy sauce or something.
My friend had the Beef with pepper sauce, although the menu did not have a red pepper noting spicy, this this was very spicy.
Decaf coffee was lukewarm although the waiter said he just brewed it. We thought we found a little gem to go to after a show but...not so much.

This visit the food was very disappointing. Our spring rolls tasted like Costco appetizers, and the noodle dish was bland. The “crispy” Peking duck meat was so dried out, hard and without flavor we left most of it uneaten. At our previous visit, the food we ordered was delicious so we had high hopes for this dinner.

We booked through open table and was advise table wasn’t available for at least 30 mins. We left for somewhere else. Funny 20 mins before our booking we walked up to restaurant and the check in lady told us 1 hour wait period. I checked opentable and showed they had sittings available much earlier. Us including our 2 kids waited 20 mins and walked to restaurant and the lady told us nothing for 30 mins.

Why accept opentable invite when restaurant is busy?

For someone who cannot have access to true Singaporean food, Bugis Street is really, really authentic. We had their Laksa twice in the short time in NYC! The Laksa is a fair sized bowl with a rich, spicy Laksa broth. There are 4 large prawns, chicken pieces, tofu puffs, fish balls, 1/2 hard-boiled egg. It was delicious! If I ever get back to NYC, Bugis Street, here I come!!

Very empty at lunchtime. I ordered a Caesar salad...dressing on the side.... and chicken satay. The satay was fatty.....could hardly cut.....didn't get the salad until I asked twice.........then with loads of dressing on top.... at $13..not even one crouton. Even in NY could get a delicious lunch for $35..

Food is kinda average some taste really good. I wish there was an option on level of spiciness(ex.LAKSA). Some appetizer are pricey. Wish Hainanese Chicken is in the Menu.

We have finally found an Asian restaurant in the NYC Theater District that doesn't disappoint! We avoided the price fixed option, and chose an appetizer and 2 dishes to share. Each was freshly prepared and delicious. There were so many inviting choices, we had trouble deciding, so we will definitely be returning to sample more of the menu. We appreciated the welcoming and efficient service, and the lovely ambiance. The only caution- while the food seems reasonably priced for this neighborhood, the beverages were quite expensive.

We were excited to try a Singaporean restaurant but disappointed to find we were at a hotel restaurant with non-caring staff, a diner menu and high prices since it's located in the theatre district. I would never go back again.

Singapore cuisine is difficult to find. The menus provides a broad range of dishes. I had the nasi goreng, a kind of fried rice. It had lots of different bits of meat, seafood, and vegetables. It would have been better if the fried egg on top hadn't been overdone. My mother had garlic noodles with shrimp. She said she could have made a meal of noodles alone, they are that tasty.
