Traditional ingredients and southern specialties like the Nashville Donut Burger and Hot Chicken Bites!
We can accommodate groups of 5 to 500 so host your party or event with us!!!
We got there on time for our reservation but it did not seem that reservations were important to them. We had to stand in line behind everyone who just walked in. No tables available! We had a party of 6 and made reservations because of that!!! We got seated in a booth that was difficult to fit 6 people. And it was right next to the bathrooms which I absolutely hate!!!
It look a long time for the food (40 minutes)which is normal for Buford’s .
We were seated by the garage doors and it was very cold.
The Po Boy claims to be Catfish...it is Tilapia. I know that moldy taste and hate it. Our server was very good. The rest of our party was ok with their food.
Food and service were great. Pepperoni roll is a favorite
This was one of the worst experiences we had at Buford’s and it’s been a go to before events. We waited over 45 minutes for our food. It came out cold and then we had to wait longer for pizza that also came out cold. I felt terrible for our waitress because she was doing everything she could. We definitely will not be back based on this experience and clear price increase.
Exciting place to be prior to a Penguins game. Never ate at Bufords before and wanted to check it out. Extremely crowded but we made reservations and got our table right away, which was great. The kitchen messed up our order but the waitress made it right. Over-priced sandwiches...$17 (!!) Might stop there again for a drink, but probably won't eat there.
We went here prior to the Penguins game. Made a reservation and requested a high top. Arrived on time for my reservation and the place was packed and we were put in a back room which looked like a party room. Food was Luke warm and my burger was severely undercooked. Beer was served in plastic tumblers. Will not be back.
first time eating at this establishment and it was very good! noise and seating was a tiny issue but i wouldn’t expect anything less on a night of a pens game! it was awesome!
Great food and service
We reserved Buford’s Kitchen from out of town before a Penguins Game and my husbands birthday.
Fantastic location, food and price!
Valentines Day!
Walked directly to our table at the reservation time at a very busy time for the restaurant the food and service was great would recommend to anyone
Food and service were great even though they were very busy right before the Pens game. Would highly recommend as a great spot to grab dinner before any PPG Paints Arena events!
Very crowded right before the Pens game. However our food was great and the service was quick.
Food was average. Tuna tacos are not recommended. Service was average.
Our waitress, Summer was very attentive and friendly. We made a reservation due to the business level on a Saturday night and was immediately seated. We were put at a two person table against one of the garage doors, fine by us. Shortly after, they sat a four top at the table beside us, blocking us in completely. We had to turn around in our seats in order to grab our drinks and plates of food, the floor plan should’ve accounted for this and put the two person table on the outside with the four against the wall so that the waitress could’ve reached both tables instead of stretching over one to get to ours. Our appetizer was also delivered to the table beside us (unknown to the table beside us as they had just put in their order for the same appetizer seconds beforehand) which was very disappointing because our food came out very shortly after we finally got our app. Summer did great and recognized what happened and got our appetizer made quickly but we still got our meals right after that so the table was way too full. Also because of the table situation I wasn’t able to order drinks as often as I wanted (I was only able to order one when I probably would have had about three) and this was simply because of the table setup. Great food, but you need to set up your tables more efficiently so a server can actually wait on their tables. Also, teach the food runners their table numbers.
The service was fine but not overly attentive. The food was ok, but nothing worth remembering.
Overall there are a lot of better places in downtown that you could get lunch
Menu posted on Open Table is outdated. Serves more bar type food.
I nice place to take in a few after a game or show at PPG or even on just a random day. We will be back. The waitress was perfect just as was the pot roast fries for an appetizer.
Thank you Greg!
We were seated in the "back room" which was great because we could actually hear each other talking!
Service was great.
Pot roast bowl and pepperoni roll appies were fabulous!!!!
"Wedgies" had ALOT of dough, enough for 2 but would have like more stuffing
Good selection of salads.
My gluten free nephew had extremely limited options ☹
Got order wrong and online menu wasn’t even close to limited small menu in restaurant. Probably won’t return
The burgers are really very good. Can't wait to try the other burgers, and I don't usually order those when out. We were 1/2 hr early for our reservation last Sat., and the staff was very accommodating, which we appreciated, especially before an event at PPG Paints Arena.
The place was a little slow when we came in but grew busier as the night went on. The food was very good, service was fast, and the waiter was quick to refill our drinks. I thought the menu was a little small but that't's really more of a comment than a complaint. Overall a really good experience and I would definitely go back again when I'm in Pittsburgh.
