   Service was good and ambiance was very nice. Palmetto Bluff is a beautiful place. Food was mediocre at best though, and for the cost, you're better off staying home.

   Our experience at Buffalo's continues to deteriorate each time we visit. On our most recent visit, April 12 we experienced problems with every aspect of our evening, from reservations, to slow service and inaccurate food and drink orders. When our drink order was delivered and we realized it was wrong, the manager came to our table and tried to re-serve us the same incorrect drink that had already been returned and tasted. Two beef entrees were ordered medium rare but came out medium well. They were sent back, and even the second serving was medium well - not even close to our preferred temperature. It was tough and flavorless. The chicken entree was dry and overcooked. Our daughter ordered grilled cheese and was brought chicken tenders. We have had high hopes for this restaurant since they renovated, and even thought that having the Montage hotel take over operations would result in a boost in service and quality. Instead, the menu is very basic and uninviting, and the service continues to disappoint. We will not be returning and instead will choose to dine at other restaurants on property.

   We were lucky to have Jordan as a waiter and Ariel and Luke as servers. Such a great team. The food was awesome (wife had salmon and I had the flat iron steak). Not as fancy as River House, which we appreciated. More casual and laid back. I selected the Carrot Cake for dessert. It was outstanding!

   We had brunch on the screened porch. Our fabulous waitress has been our server dozens of times through the years. She is always pleasant, personable and has great recommendations! I had the delicious veggie burger with the awesome sweet potato fries. My sister had the tasty tuna melt which she loved and my BOL had the ribs which he described as “perfect”! Good food and majestic scenery…excellent!
