Buffalo Wild Wings - Springfield
We ordered nachos the chips tasted like they were cooked in when said oil they did Take the price of the product off the bill but that's not right
I went for dinner on 5/4 around 7pm. Parking is very good. The place is basically a sports bar. There are large TV's everywhere playing all sorts of sports. The beer selection is excellent. (I didn't notice the wine selection). Mixed drinks are also available. The name of the place alone should tell you their specialty. There are other choices. Vegetarians can get a salad here. I didn't notice any vegan items. My guess is a vegan would see all the chicken wings & burgers, and blow a gasket. The wing selection is good. You can go traditional (bone-in) or boneless. Then you select the spice. I had the bone-in with the Buffalo hot spice. It's not the hottest spice. The food arrived in good time on a baking platter. The wings were very well prepared. Not over-done, not under done. The spice was over the top. It was really hot. I was sweating and going SLOW. It took an hour to wipe-out about 12 wings. If it were any hotter, my stomach would have rejected the food. Thank goodness for milk. That stuff really does help. The service was very good. The atmosphere was, well... LOUD. The staff and I had a hard time understanding each other over the noise. 1 beer, 1 order of wings, and 2 orders of milk, came too $35 w/tip. Kids will like the place and there were many of them there. The place is wheelchair accessible and very clean.
We got there at exactly 9 (the time of our reservation), the placed was packed because of a fight that was being shown that night. A bunch of people camping out at their tables, a bunch of people waiting for tables. I walked up to the host stand where three hosts were standing looking annoyed, not greeting anyone. When I finally got their attention, I was told that they don't honor reservations on fight nights. Cool, then why take them at all? I've hosted at a busy corporate restaurant before, I know it's not their fault, but they seemed very annoyed at the situation and at the guests. I seem to ways get very mediocre service at the location.
Would not honor our table reservation created online.
The wings are consistently awesome and the service has always been on the mark. Even on the really crowded nights. We hit up BWW when we are visiting from Roseburg. I wish the prices were a bit more reasonable but good things cost money. Overall though well done!!
Reservations online confirmed, table not ready upon arrival. Coke machine had to be changed, had to ask for silverware. Why make online reservations if it isn’t acted upon by restaurant? Over priced - really pricey for chicken wings.
That's the third time I'm trying this chain. Service is ok, atmosphere is good, but the wings are just not tasty. Sorry.
We made a reservation to dine at 8:15pm, only to be told when we got there that they don’t accept reservations for Friday nights 🤔🤔 we were seated relatively quickly after that and the service and food was great
