    We truly had an amazing time at Buffalo Chophouse. Our waitress, Laura, was so awesome; she was attentive, real and very sweet. All of her recommendations were spot on. The candied bacon was heaven. As a regular consumer of many fine dining steakhouses in New York City (and a restaurant owner), I really enjoyed the steak as well and was happy to find this gem of a restaurant. We will definitely be back every time we are in Buffalo!

    While my filet was very, very good, I was hoping for a better seafood special or selection. Did sea bass or something similar cross your minds? Not everyone is into lobster. As for salmon, most people make it at home frequently.

    Our first trip to both the city and Buffalo Chophouse. We are looking forward to our next visit. The staff was kind, thoughtful, and attentive. The restaurant is beautiful. The food was so good. My family loved their steak, and I had the salmon which was so delicious and creatively prepared that I keep thinking about it. Especially the pickled eggplant!

    Very classy atmosphere however, our group of four was seated next to the bar on the first floor. In retrospect, I should have requested a table on the second floor. Our waiter was very personable, knowledgeable and friendly. Filet mignon was tender and juicy, nicely seasoned. Side dishes were prepared well too; grilled asparagus, button mushrooms and Mac and cheese. Dinner rolls were warm and crusty, delicious. A vanilla ice cream sundae with a chocolate brownie, nuts, whipped cream and cherries was a nice ending to our meal. Nice cocktail and wine selections are a plus. Highly recommend!

    My family enjoys the Chop House. We always have an excellent meal when we go. The service was great and very fast on our most recent visit. My only complaint is that it was freezing in the restaurant! Not quite sure why the AC was cranked so high. Other than that it was an enjoyable experience with a delicious meal!

    Their steaks are some of the best steaks I’ve ever had. I love this place. I have to admit though the salmon was a little disappointing, probably farm raised. Why not Cohoe in season?  Sides were great! Love the creamed corn and mashed potatoes. Mac&cheese was delish!

    Took 25 minutes to get a beverage. Food was cooked incorrectly. Not our usual experience, as we have been many times. . We were not pleased or impressed. Expensive meal to not have a 5 star experience. Unfortunate to say, probably won’t return.

    Chop House is a great place to go for a memorable meal. We had the surf and turf and it was delicious. The filet was one of the best I have ever had. For dessert, I highly recommend the affogato. It is sweet enough to be a dessert, but not overly heavy after a great meal.

    Another birthday, Another amazing meal! Outstanding food, service (thank you Luke) and ambiance! From the moment you walk in, you are treated like royalty! They make you feel like you are the only one they are serving! We'll be back in Nov. for my hubby's birthday! Can't wait! Don't pass this place up for a special occasion!

    Servers are always excellent. Ambience excellent. Background music excellent. Food excellent. A five-star restaurant. Two other thoughts. I received three reminders regarding our reservation. Two via email and one by phone. A bit over the top and annoying. One email reminder would have been enough. Second, a suggestion. My wife and I, as well as some of our friends and relatives enjoy your birthday promotion. It would be great if you could find some way to offer an anniversary promotion. Selfish of us because we celebrated our 54th anniversary with you yesterday. To be honest we will probably be there for our 55th promotion or not. Special thanks to the server who ran our take-homes (which we forgot) to our car. Sometimes it is the little things.

    Our reservation date was chosen for a couple reasons. Between 2 special days. My wife’s retirement and our 46th anniversary. We were given a very nice secluded table on the upper floor. Perfect. If I could give one critique about this, it would be that maybe a question could be posed to a customer if this was going to happen is it ok? If it had been a year earlier my wife would never have been able to do it. The food met all the accolades from others that told us how good it was. My 20oz. Delmonico steak was done to perfection as was my wife’s surf and turf. Our server James and his assistant Nick were very attentive and met every one of our needs without exception. James explained menu options so that we understood everything. Explained how everything is done in house and gave us all the different possibilities from the menu.     Our server, Kate was terrific! Celebrated stepdad’s birthday. Everyone enjoyed their meal and drinks. The music station was awesome (we love music). Would like there to be a little more lighting to see menu and each other better. Thank you.
