It was delicious
I took my mother to Buenos Aires for a Mother's Day Brunch. This is our second time dining at the restaurant.
I'm not sure if it was due to the holiday, but I found the service to be subpar this time around: upon arrival, they only provide the dinner menu. You actually have to ask for the Brunch menu, which offers more cost effective options. Brunch includes salad, home fries, dessert and coffee--not a bad deal for NYC! However, we had to ask multiple times for the side dishes, which was a tad annoying.
Id still return but I do think they need to improve when it comes to their service.
Food and drinks were delicious and staff was great, so attentive and friendly!! want to take my family and other friends to enjoy it!!
Everything was amazing. Great place. Highly recommended
Superb food and truly authentic. Great staff, warm and inviting. Don't miss it!
great, very friendly! celebrated my birthday and they treated us very nicely.
Excellent. the waiters very attentive, the atmosphere very good and the food delicious.
If you order the mixed grill for an appetizer and take half of it home in a doggy bag, just add a brioche and some fried eggs the next morning, and you have the best breakfast ever devised. Scrumptious!
Service was not as usual. I usually go in the evening and ask to be served by an uruguayan waiter that is awesome. He brings the bread toasted and brings truffle oil with the provoleta. Also, the sweetbreads could have been more crispy. The skirt stake never disappoints, as always.
This is a great genuine Argentinian restaurant. I highly recommend it. Everything I tried there is very good. The meat is great quality and prices are reasonable.
I ordered the slice filet with cream sauce - substitute spinach MINE was amazing
Wife got the organic half chicken - which had barry any meat
The sautéed shrimp appetizer was very good
Nice place - would go back if i down in that area
Great Steaks, poor sides
Our waitress was very rude and unwilling to make any changes to menu items
Overall a good experience. Food was amazing and the menu was extensive and authentic.
Our waiter, a very attentive ecuadorian man, was excellent
That was all the good. The bad: we were elbow to elbow with surrounding tables. I would think that a nice restaurant like Buenos Aires could afford to have less tables and improve patrons' dinner experience, especially given the prices.
The noise level: I could not hear a word my husband was telling me, let alone move my arms a couple of inches.
Management of tables: We had one table at first, then they added a second one to put the rest of the food, and then they took the second table again to expand the tables for an extremely loud group next to us. I found that a bit unprofessional and uncomfortable.
The last straw was when I was literally cutting something and they moved my table while I was on it to make room for ANOTHER table next to us.
Fantastic service and tasty steak with reasonable
prices. The filet minion is one of the best ever. Super tasty with the mushroom sauce.
Food is consistently good. Service this night was fantastic.
Skirt steak is always great here
For desert get the apple crepes
Great ambiance in the main restaurant the back area is quieter
Over priced for the quantity and quality of goods and drinks this restaurant offers!
We have been here on several occasions because it’s consistently delicious. Love this place. Excellent service & food.
This place was absolutely fantastic. Our original plans fell through elsewhere and I found this spot. This will be a place I return to for sure. The staff were so much fun!
Beunos Aires is a great spot, fantastic steak and a great ambience!
Good and service are great...
Great place. Authentic parrillada in Manhattan. Attentive service.
Our dinner at Buenos Aires was amazing! Three people ordered steak and one person got a pasta dish. Each person agree the food was incredible. The service at the restaurant was also fantastic. The waiters checked in on our often and gave wonderful recommendations for dinner and drinks. Great experience and would highly recommend!
Food and services were good; however, we were surprised by the prices, which were significantly higher what’s indicated on the website’s suggested average of <$30. But we had a good time anyway.
It was amazing ! 5 star service!
Buenos Aires serves the kind of steak you dream about months later.
We were craving for the perfect comfort meal, a good Argentinian parrillada, and Buenos Aires popped up on the Google search. To our delight, this place had everything we were craving for and then some more. From the wine recommended by Patricio, the maître d', following with the empanadas to the parillada, everything was amazing and delicious.
As always was a terrific meal. Had a great Rib Eye and wife had filet mignon. Both cooked perfectly. And washed down with a phenomenal bottle of red wine.
Last night I went to dinner with a friend. Out of luck I chose this restaurant and it so happened it’s one of her favorites.
From beginning to end it was an amazing culinary experience. We shared a “Provoleta” baked Argentinian provolone cheese with oregano. Delicious. There wine selection is amazing. And their steak melts in your mouth. Cooked to perfection (medium rare) and full of flavor.
My friend had the dulce de leche dessert which she thoroughly enjoyed.
Owner Ismael Alba and his staff are second to none when it comes to customer service and making their guests feel welcome.
This will become one of my favorite restaurants in NY!!
We, unfortunately, were seated next to a raucous (and drunk) group which negatively impacted our experience
Great and pricey fantástico nothing else to add but im fórced to write 30 characters
Great place with delicious food and service. Would definitely go back!
Charming, off the beaten path Argentine restaurant with great steaks and good wine. Great value for the quality. I’ve enjoyed every meal I’ve had here. also good place to watch Argentina soccer. Tables are very close together, but that’s common in smaller NYC restaurants.
Very good empanadas & steaks. Large portions. Very noisy but friendly. Tables close to each other. This was my 1st time here. I'll be back.
If you’re a sports fan esp football, you will love the restaurant. The place is filled with memorabilia’s eg Maradona and the likes.
Food and service were great! We loved the shrimp appetizer n grilled t bone n salmon.
