Buenos Aires Ratings and Reviews
The food was uniformly delicious, from the toast-in-lieu-of-those-generic-crusty-rolls to the dessert menu (which we hadn't room to try), but be warned: the mixed-grill-for-two appetizer is more like for four, or even six; it's a meal in itself. Very generous helping, but, with an entree, too much. Of course, there's always a doggie bag--
Great place for Argentinian food, very authentic. Quality of ingredients and steak is very good, highly suggest the entraña and the asado de tira. The empanadas are amazing and they are baked, not fried. Service is great, they will accommodate any special requests. I like a lot the shrimp with avocado and salsa golf, a must try! I've going to BA restaurant for over ten years now and never had a bad moment there. In my opinion one of the best Argie restaurants in Manhattan.
Authentic Argentinian restaurant, true to its name. The food was excellent. You have to try the meat and the serving with all the “achuras”. The tables were a bit too close to each other and the noise level was a bit higher than desired.
I opened this restaurant for myself 7-8 years ago and like it from the first visit. As I`m not a big fan of meat (just eat it very rare) I can say it`s the best place to eat it :) They also make tasty tapas and have one of the best wine list from South America! It`s better to book the table before because restaurant is always full.....never saw it even half occupied....and for me it`s a great sign. The atmosphere is cozy, fun and very friendly!
Amazing experience!!! The food was great and the service was spectacular! The staff was very accommodating, attentive, and helpful. The empanadas were the best I've had outside of Argentina and the meat was cooked perfectly. I definitely recommend this place!!!
One of the best steakhouses in NYC and it is an authentic Argentine restaurant which transports you to Buenos Aires. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. We got the asado de tira and lomo which were both flavorful and perfectly cooked, the empanadas were stellar and are baked not fried. I would come here at least once a week to satisfy my Argentine Parrilla cravings.
I moved from NYC 7 years ago and have not been here since. I remember frequenting this restaurant when I was living here at least once a month! When visiting almost 8 years later, this restaurant continues to blow me away. It's amazing food, beer, and sangria are to die for. Same quality and same great service! I live closer to NYC now and will absolutely come back as often as possible!
