You ruined the ceviche! Please go back to the old recipe.
There was hair in the booth. It was a lot. Maybe like someones weave got stuck in between the cushion. Other than that the food and service was great.
We enjoyed the Buena Vida experience - at $35 (without alcohol) for all you can eat this was a great deal. Menu was really innovative and we loved the experience. We’ll be back!
Excellent food and service! Best restaurant in Silver Spring!
Excellent service and food.
Great little find! Amazing food and a really great vibe/ambiance. We will definitely be back!
Great Brunch and Food Menu!
Buena Vida is a little hard to rate, and I'm not certain whether or not I'd recommend it. The problem is that the food is delicious - so good I'd come back regardless of the other deficiencies, but I would not bring anyone with me that I need to impress. The restaurant itself is cold and smells musty, except by the front door which is right next to the restrooms and smells like disinfectant. We were the first people there so it was very quiet at first, and then they decided to blast loud music. We asked them to turn it down, which they did, so that was resolved. We all had the tapas options and the food came out very very slowly. We got things we didn't order and didn't get everything we did order. But we loved everything, whether we ordered it or not, and because there's a fixed price for tapas, there were no pricing issues. So, go for the food, or don't go at all if anything else really influences your decision.
Great location, great food! Everything was well prepared and came quickly.
Great food and the Buena Vida experience is an excellent value if you are having a few drinks.
We went here for our birthday dinner Saturday night. Our waiter, Abdul was AWESOME! surprised us with dessert and birthday songs at the end. Food and service are both great.
Very cute spot. I would never have known it was there, very nondescript location. The hostesses was not the most accommodating or welcoming. I arrived at 1pm without a reservation for Sunday brunch and she informed me that they were booked and would not be able to seat my party. I went on open table and found 3 open reservations for 20 mins later. I waited outside for rest of my party and was seated at 1:15pm. Other than the hostess the rest of the service staff was awesome. It was very busy but everyone, not just our waiter was attentive. The drinks were pretty good, and the food was great. The place has a really nice ambiance. I will be back.
Love love love this place! My boyfriend gets annoyed because I always want to go here I love it so much!
I found this gem due to a google search and let me tell you, I am glad I did. I visited this restaurant for my 30th birthday and I loved it. It is very beautiful inside and the food is delicious! My husband is not the biggest fan of mexican food but he also enjoyed it. My only suggestion is that the buena vida experience should also include non alcoholic drinks for those who are the DD or don't like alcohol. My husband doesnt drink but we found the experience to be amazing. If I didn't live out of the state, I would be here all the time!
Nice happy hour specials with plenty of drinks and food until 7PM. The barbacoa nachos were especially tasty from the regular menu. Overall, a great place with yummy food.
All of our tapas choices were good. Favorites, Shrimp Ceviche and Lamb. You can order the unlimited tapas with no alcohol at a reduced price. Definitely worth trying different dishes.
Everything was fantastic — food, service, and the staff. It was loud upstairs.
A relaxing, fun place to kick back with friends. Excellent food and drinks, nice ambience, helpful staff, and reasonable prices. We'll be going back!
Great service and ambiance. The barbacoa nachos and chicken pipian were excellent!
The food was awesome and the service was great. My only complaints would be that the AC was a bit too chilly and a table next to ours was very loud. They can fix the former but I’m not sure how much they can do about the latter. But the food was really awesome and was a great deal.
It was a good value for ALL the food and drinks during brunch. (went 2 days in a row)
Excellent restaurant week experience. Service was outstanding. Food was delicious. We will be back with friends.
The Restaurant Week menu was a real value. $50 unlimited tapas and we’ll-drinks. The asked about allergies and then ordered for us. We also ordered dishes as well.
The ambiance in the restaurant is lovely with lots of neutral colors, natural wood, and colorful artwork. It was our first time there and we’re definitely going back.
Amazing brunch - all the food we tried was really good. The service was also great and there was a variety of drinks to choose from on the brunch option. Highly recommend!
Our server Jasmin was great and the food and drinks were awesome!
This place was amazing. Service was top notch food was nice and fresh. Perfect place for brunch.
$49 for bottomless small plates and drinks was a great deal. The food was definitely tasty, but not revelatory. We had to re-order some plates several times because they never came. The restaurant had a nice look and I’d go again.
What a great restaurant! The food was amazing and the wait staff was so friendly. Definitely coming back here!
Visited during Restaurant Week so we got to sample a lot of the menu offerings. Sadly, this did not include any desserts but we enjoyed most of the plates that we ordered.
Fantastic dinner and service
Nice special for restaurant week. The beef taco was great as w lol as the shrimp tapa. All are small plates but very tasty! Plaintains and lamb were nice although the veggie had a spicy sauce. Nice atmosphere and plenty of parking in the nearby garage.
As always, great food and ambiance. The white sangrias were delicious. My guest and I don’t eat bacon, So they modified some of their dishes to accommodate us. Much appreciated!
Perfect place for a Friday Happy Hour. Delicious margaritas and small plates are fun to share. Staff is very attentive. Most small plates are definitely worth the $$. Barbacoa is YUM. Only one or two plates missed the mark. Definitely worth a try!
Ray was AMAZING!! And GM was extremely nice. On top of all that the food and value was great. Had an amazing time
It's good food and it's a great deal for brunch. The room is echo-y. So when it's half full and people are laughing or talking loud it can be very difficult to hear the people at your own table. But the food is good. Go with the unlimited option, ordering ala carte isn't really worth it.
Other than the server being a little bit forgetful the experience was excellent.
Service was friendly without being obsequious. The potato and cheese flautas were delicious followed by the sweet corn empanadas that had a little kick. The salads were fresh and flavorful. Delicious food, excellent variety
This is a nice place with great food, but like many places for young people, very noisy. The service was excellent.
Poor service, not enough meat in the servings and the drinks were meh. All together the food was pretty mediocre.
