We had a table for six and two of us ordered the shrimp scampi with Angel hair pasta. There was absolutely no garlic in the sauce for the pasta... And no flavor. The shrimp however were cooked to perfection. My husband's lasagne was very good as were the other meals. The service was excellent. I mentioned to our server that we were disappointed in the scamps, as she wondered why we didn't want a to-go bag for all the pasta that we didn't eat. She did arrange no charge for our appetizers which was a very nice gesture.

All in all...a nice dinner out... But I would not recommend the scampi.

I really enjoy eating at Buddy V's with my friends - food is great, not too heavy, and service is excellent - quick serve - not drawn out - just like I like it!

Absolutely everything about the dining experience was awesome. The reservation emails were confusing. I rep'd several saying I was late/missed my rez after we'd enjoyed our visit.

Even though the restaurant is located in the Casino section of Sands, we were escorted and the security guard stood outside the restaurant the whole time. We were seated right away and greeted with some bread. We ere able to order quickly and food came in a reasonable time. Everyone loved what they got except the kids. The both wanted the macaroni and cheese but neither child like the cheese that was used. The creme burlee was to die for and you get a generous portion. After we left the restaurant, we hit up the bakery and the cookies were also to die for. We will be coming back to Sands to hit up the restaurant and the bakery. Worth the trip from New Jersey!

The food was exceptional and the atmodphere was quite comfortable. The service was not up to par for a quality restaurant. Too few visits to the table.....missed opportunities to refill water, drinks and check on satisfaction immediately after food was delivered. We would go again for the food.

The food was average. My lasagna was barely warm and my wife's chicken dish was also barely warm so much so that she sent it back to be reheated

Arrived a few minutes prior to our reservation time and was greeted by their hostess, Bevin, who was absolutely wonderful. Great personality and a friendly smile which is always a plus in the restaurant industry. Once at the table we were soon greeted by our server, Marco. We've been to Buddy V's about a dozen times and have never had him as a server. Believe me when I say that this guy was fantastic! Friendly, great personality and attentive are the three best things that come to mind when describing him. He is definitely an asset to this establishment. As always the food was great, the drinks enjoyable and we had a great time. We will definitely be back somebody to Buddy V's.

The focaccia? - keep it coming! I can’t stop.
Tomato basil soup is tasty but not too tangy. Perfect.
The eggplant parm- amazingly crispy and a great sauce!
Tried the Rigatoni Vodka and again- the sauce is amazing.
Amy, our server is one of the best. Honestly, it’s not a quiet romantic dinner kinda place but for Italian food with a family style fun ambience with great food, this place is perfect. Bene!

Enjoyed another meal at Buddy V's. Dessert, which was just a Cannoli, took forever to come out of the kitchen. Server was not as attentive as usual. Food could have been warmer. All things easily improved.

Food was great! Portion for the lasagna was large and more than could be eaten in one sitting. The desserts were amazing and very high quality. The service was marginal. The glasses were small and i needed my water refilled often and was left with an empty glass on several occasions.

The appetizer was fresh . The pasta was a cut above it tasted handmade. The carbonara was heavy on the butter. The lemon cheesecake was the best part of the meal.

It’s hard for me to judge based off of one night and what I heard other people say about the restaurant on a regular basis. Because based off of one night, it was terrible. The kitchen was SO SLOW. It took me 30 minutes alone to get my salad. And an hour to get our entrees from when we ordered. We ordered from the pre-show menu so we would get our food quickly. However, we had to hurry through dinner and take our dessert with us because two hours was not enough time to eat, which was the allotted time before the show. Now I heard other people say “it was much quicker last time” multiple times. So I will give the benefit of the doubt, but that was the only complaint I have. The kitchen was terribly slow. Other than that it was a great experience with good food.

We both ordered the sea bass which came a nice little salad on the plate. When I say little I mean little, maybe a half cups worth. The bass was also very small and for $28 dollars it wasn't such a great deal. The small meal obviously lead to dessert which we figured would be great for a dessert chef's restaurant. We ordered a lobster claw and while the pastry was crispy and delicious only 1/3 of it has any cream in it whatsoever. Very disappointing. Our server was great however and on top of her game!

We had a great late lunch/early dinner. Chicken Parmesan dinner was great. Service was awesome. Marco was our waiter and he was excellent! My wife had the rigatoni with vodka sauce, which wasn’t right, but Marco and the manager immediately removed that meal from our bill. We will be back again.

Staff was great and our waitress knew the menu (blonde with glasses) and made great recommendations. Portions where good and not over the top. Chicken Parm was spot on as well as meatball apps. They provide bread with olive oil and balsamic that lacked spices. Typical casino prices around $25.00 for entree. Drink prices really high, $12.00 for a vodka and tonic. Would go back again.

After visiting the location in Las Vegas and being completely disappointed I am so glad I decided to give this location a try. I have been to Buddy V’s at Sands numerous times now and I am never ever disappointed. The food is always delicious and the service is beyond perfect. Today was everything I expected and then some... Paige was outstanding and we will DEFINITELY be back!
