Fantastic food and a wonderful staff. Cant wait to come back.
Great food. The bread was good with the olive oil. We did not have an appetizer. The special drink (sangria) was good but expensive, NY price.
Our waitress was super nice. She really made the meal special. I forget her name, but she had blonde hair and very sweet.
Food wasn't too impressive. This is also coming from someone in an Italian household, so I'm probably more critical than most. But the pepperoni pizza wasn't impressive. Even the presentation of it wasn't great.
The chicken parm wasn't hot when I got it, but it was fairly tasty. The pasta was good as well. The nutella cake was AMAZING.
I would probably give this restaurant another shot.
The resteraunt wasn't anything special. I can't say it was bad but its not a place I would go out of my way to dine at. The food wasn't bad but I've had better. I expected better from a restaurant in the Sands, especially for the prices.
We had lunch there two times and we were not impressed either time. The food was not impressive at all. I really didn't want to go there for dinner, but my husband thought we should give it a try. I am pleased to say that dinner was much better than the lunch. The food was prepared well and the menu has many options. We ended up going back for dinner again we liked it so much the first time. I had the salmon both times and my husband the linguini and clams. The bread they serve with dinner is delicious and the salads are a good size that two can share. The servers are very good.
The food was amazing and service was great. Nice atomosphere.
We've eaten at Buddy's many times. The service is always wonderful. However, this time I can honestly say the food was average quality with high prices. We won't rush back.
I would have like d to see some homemade pasta on the menu. Flavors all in all were authentic Italian and the usual dishes such as shrimp scampi were very flavorful and cooked well. Being in the middle of a casino may limit the uses this restaurant has for you other than a and date night.
Went to Buddy Vs for the first time and it was a decent restaurant. The host and servers did a good job nothing special. The food was ok it didnt blow me away. I ordered the chicken parm and the taste was good but it was slightly overcooked. The place is nice, I would go back but it wouldnt be my first choice for and italian restaurant in the area.
Been coming to Buddy's since it opened and noticed that there has been an overall decline in quality of food over past year. There is always a need to request some table items (straws, salt pepper, etc...) from wait staff - it is not openly offered. This restaurant has always been our favorite at the Sands but we are considering a change in the future.
services slow and the restaurant was not busy
ordered garlic bread bottom was burnt and very oily
Have been to Buddy V's many times. Majority of the time the food is outstanding. This time however, the Chicken Picatta didn't live up to its usual standard of excellence. The chicken had an odd taste and the linquini was under-cooked. The service was again outstanding. Won't hold this one time event against them, but I doubt I will order the Chicken Picatta again, even though it's my favorite.
We’ve had several meals here, and each time the food and service were terrific! Will definitely return in the near future.
Food was delicious! One person in party had lasagna and said best they’ve had. Shrimp scampi and vodka rigatoni both were very good! Only problem was the noise level was very high..hard to have a conversation. Been several times...definitely go again for Italian food!
Really dumb set up that was clearly not explained on the website. Basically if you want to eat at this restaurant and you have someone under 21 in your party it is really tine consuming and annoying. You need to have an usher take you to the restaurant because it is next to the casino. Takes forever for them to get an usher and then they sit outside and literally wait for you In case you need to access the bathroom or try and run through the casino 😀.
Went to celebrate a birthday - Our server was very attentive, super friendly, knowledgeable of the menu and great at recommending drinks. The food was amazing, full of flavor and the lamb just fell off the bone. Definitely want to go back and try more times off the menu.
Food is always delicious!! Staff are friendly seating you and the waitress or waiter is always friendly as well. Been here a few times and love it.
The meal was really good! The service was great! Our server was very attentive and personable.
We were at the Sands for an Anniversary weekend and wanted a special dinner, so I made a reservation using Open Table. It got off to a poor start with the hostess. The restaurant has "inside tables" in a room that is not entirely enclosed (open in front) and outside tables that are on the casino floor. The hostess asked if we want to sit outside even though there were tables available inside and we made a reservation. This is not a side-walk bistro in Rome where you dine alfresco. An experienced hostess wouldn't have asked that question, knowing we had a reservation. Even sitting inside - it was very noisy. Tables for 2 were very small and spacing was tight. The restaurant offers pizza which probably brings in a lot of foot traffic for them, but again, I'm there for a nice dinner and we were dressed up and wound up sitting next to people in t-shirts, shorts and flip flops. If I wanted pizza and wanted to sit on the casino floor, there is an adjacent mall that offers that for a lot less. The menu was very limited regarding the selections. The wine was over-priced. The only bright spots were the waitress (she was extremely pleasant and for the most part, gave great service - the only thing was we had to wait until our meal was almost done for a 2nd glass of wine we ordered when the entree was served) and the food was good. We go to the Sands a lot and would dine at Emeril's Italian (which was switched to a seafood restaurant) whenever we went there. Emeril's Italian was off the casino floor, had a bigger space and had a menu with more variety. I don't mind spending money for good food where I can have a quiet conversation with my wife, but Buddy's isn't that place so I won’t be going back there. I miss Emeril's Italian.
Went for our 25th wedding anniversary. The food was outstanding and plentiful and the service was fantastic.
Food and service were excellent. Pricing was a little steep but all in all it was worth the cost.
Special order cheese garlic bread made The whole visit worth it! We brought some home!!! Servings were huge, well priced. Only drawback was that it was in the casino so was really noisy. Service was good, friendly.
Sunday gravy very good just like my Grandma....Staff very friendly
Food was amazing. Pretty large portions. Waitress was great, on top of her game, very attentive.
It can be a hit-or-miss with celebrity chef restaurants at times. However Buddy V's certainly was not a disappointment. We will go back again and take friends with us without hesitation.
This is the second time we have been here and never disappointed. Everything is perfect. The service, the friendlyness and so clean. See you next time!
Third time back, food is delicious. Personal friendly service, very efficient. Nice atmosphere and very clean. Great desserts.
Wait staff very nice and accommodating - as usual. However, food was sub-par. We always stop in for a bite when we are in the area. I ordered the chicken rigatoni with vodka sauce and my wife ordered the shrimp salad. Salad was more in line with a side salad; not a dinner salad. At $16, we expected a bit more. I always order the rigatoni but this time the vodka sauce was not its usual flavorful self and the chicken pieces were very over done. We didn't complain to wait staff as it wasn't their problem. NOT sure what was happening in the kitchen this time but if this was our first visit to Buddy's, we would be very hesitant to return.
Meatballs and sauce are delicious. Atmosphere was ok. Wait staff was attentive. Prices are ok.
As usual, everything was outstanding, the food and service are unbeatable! Make sure to leave room for Buddy V's delicious desserts.
We have been to this restaurant a few times and loved it. This time we came with friends and they loved it also. Food was great and the service was great cant wait to come back..thanks
The waitress and management went out of their way to ensure we had the best meal. I can sometimes be embarrassed with all my allergies. Nuts, eggs & gluten. However, they made it very comfortable. The food was great!
Believe ME when I tell You. This place is phenomenal. Every meal is more than you asked for. Drinks are reasonable n the service is Superb. All occasions are considered just tell your hostess. Will dine there many more times!
Always an excellent pre show meal...the Chicken Marsalla is a favorite!
The food is fantastic and the service staff is very attentive and friendly. This was the third time we have had dinner here and the food is never disappointing. This is the place we eat dinner before going to a concert at the Sands Event Center.
Our first time here. Service was excellent but it was very noisy. Tables are very close together and not a restaurant to have any real conversation. Drinks were good and so was the food. More a group setting than a quiet dinner for 2.
Our pretheater dinner was delicious, quickly served by an attentive waitress, at an affordable price. I have dined there several times and have always enjoyed a great dinner. I recommend it highly.
Ate there before a show. Food was great and the service was just as good.
The food was good but we got the 30 dollar meal the special and the portions were sad, they cut all the meals in half and gave them to us.. the chicken parm was the size of my palm and you got a cup of pasta.. I was expecting more for 30 dollars small dessert and salad would have been fine but not small main meal it was good just not enough for your money.
