Buddha Sky Bar; an Asian concept with design and cuisine influences rooted in Chinese and Japanese interpretations.



A discrete third floor location with off the Avenue access creates an exclusive feel for guests upon arrival. A glass encased rooftop arboretum overlooks downtown Delray Beach. A walk through the kitchen leads to the outdoor "Chef's Table", perfect for private events. Asian accents complement the authenticity of the cuisine featuring Dim Sum, Sushi, & Wok selections from our 'from-scratch' kitchen.



The three-part menu nods to different food preparations including an open sushi bar, a full kitchen as well as Delray Beach's first Binchotan charcoal grill. In addition to traditional menu items like Peking Style Duck it also features a great vegetarian selection.



Buddha Sky features full dinner service at all seats. Due to limited space, reservations are recommended, including bar & sushi bar seats.

The place is always lively. The crowd seems to be attracted towards this restaurant. Do try to reserve a table for you beforehand to save any disappointments.

We love Buddha Sky Bar and go there often. They have a great Happy Hour menu and honor that until 7:00pm. The food is creative and delicious and our waiter, Rob was charming, helpful with menu and efficient.

Here at least 1-2/month - usually perfect. This time almost 20 minutes passed before I had to grab a server to even come up to the table. Hope just an anomaly, but also took a lot of good items off the menu and added some not so great ones...always like a refresh, but the items removed and replaced...eh

The food was incredible but the service was horrible. It was at least 20-30 minutes in between each dish. We didn't even get a waiter to come around until 30 minutes after we sat down and then had our first dish come out before they brought out water. When we went to the bar to ask for water because we couldn't take it anymore they said we had to ask the server since they "didn't have glasses suitable for the dining room." To top it off, it was so hot in the restaurant.

The manager was incredibly nice and gave us some drinks on the house but it didn't really make up for it since my drink was completely bland.

It's unfortunate that the tables next to the window overlooking downtown Delray are not available as (I've been told this every time I've been) that they are "reserved for the managers VIPs". How do I become one of these VIPs? As the "sky" portion of "skybar" are not available for normal customers.

The food was excellent except for one dish the peppered steak that my husband ordered. We loved the sushi and the shumai as well as the fried rice both veggie and the pineapple as well as the bourbon chicken. The only issue we had was that the food took an extremely long time to come out to us and the drink order took a bit long too. Once we reminded our waitress that we hadn't gotten our drinks yet though she went back and brought them to us fairly quickly. It was busy so I guess they got backed up. However we did enjoy our dining experience anyway.

Enjoyed the food, nothing to write home about but good. My wife's dish was too spicy and they took it back and cooked it without the spices and it was excellent. Good friendly service.

Always a unique and enjoyable dining experience. Just different enough to be interesting but not too different for those that aren't willing to try new things. Everybody leaves happy!

Even though the food was really good, a little over priced for sushi, I don't think I will go again to the restaurant. The service is poor, the lighting is awful, and it was freezing. It is so dark you almost need a flashlight to be able to read the menu.

Our waiter came to our table only twice throughout the whole night, took forever to bring our drinks, I even had to return one because it was so bad.

We were a party of 5, everybody got their food, but one person that had to wait like 10 minutes for his plate after everybody was already served, and we all ordered simple sushi rolls.

The bad part was that the restaurant wasn't even crowded, there were only two tables besides ours, I can't imagine the service when they have to serve a big crowd.

Horrible experience!!!!
We went to the sky bar(3rd floor)

Very loud place, we decided to go to the garden room instead.

The bar offers Draft beers in the menu but reality is ... they don't have any(Sapporo Reserve in bottle $9, haha great business) so ...
...we ordered an appetizer and 3 beers, the server comes back with only 2 glasses and the beers , they didn't even have enough glasses for 3 people(the place was 25% full)!!!.

Well... it doesn't finish there..., the beers were warm!!!!! We asked for an exchange and the server said that all beers are at the same temperature...then the server asked us what he can do for the inconvenience...so we said "nothing, we are leaving...", the server called the manager and he justified himself saying that the draft beers are only seasonal, this guy got that nasty attitude, like he really doesn't care about the customer and made us pay for the appetizer before we left.

PS place looks really cheap, they look good in pictures but when you get there is like being inside of a McDonald's.

THIS PLACES IS ALSO SUPER EXPENSIVE!!
If you love yourself do not go there, you deserve better!!! This is one of those places that you don't get what you pay for...

Lots of small plates to share. The seafood shimmied was wonderful. The egg rolls were very good. Fried rice was delicious. Spicy shrimp was a big hit, as were the beef with peppers. Crab with Boursin was fine, chicken dim sum was good but seafood was better.

We have come to the restaurant a lot but this time we were very disappointed. We brought friends who had never eaten there, and they too weren't thrilled! The ribs were tough and chewy; the mushroom stuffed appetizer was so unappetizing that we returned it! The fried shrimp appetizer was good, but the duck spring rolls were pretty tasteless!
Shame!

Ridiculous concept with average fare catering to the overfunded and overdressed crowd who still think Price = Quality. Service was great!
