We had an evening booking whilst we were in Crete on holiday. The staff were amazing and very attentive and as it was a bit chilly in the evening time, they even offered some small blankets. They staff even made sure to get us a taxi back to our hotel.

Our first dinner at Abaton was a bit disappointing. Food was fairly good, service friendly but the loud bumping disco music is totally unacceptable if you want to enjoy a nice dinner by the sea. According to the waitress the music is "Buddha-philopsofy" but here I totally disagree.

Sub average food (sashimi was sinewy and not sashimi grade) and the music is deafeningly loud though beautiful views and decent service. Would go back for a drink but definitely not eat! Much better choices in the same hotel!

Aussicht Top! Musik zu laut zu sich unterhalten! Tuna vermutlich frittiert und völlig trocken! Frühlingsrolle völlig ölig! Beef Tatar auf Reis wirklich gut! Beef Tataki völlig zäch, fast nicht zum runterkriegen! Spare Ribs zuviele Röstzwiebeln und wie frittiert…nicht zu empfehlen! Weiss nicht wo die ganzen guten Bewertungen herkommen!?

We visited this restaurant for a second time during our stay. Fantastic service and delicious food. Not cheap but compares very well to Asian restaurants in London. Would highly recommend the set menu.

We had the set menu; the food was delicious and there was so much of it. All presented beautifully and very tasty. Not cheap, but compared very well to Asian restaurants in the UK. Would highly recommend

Food was very tasty. Quite a fusion in some cases, not sure it was all so necessary, feels like the chef doesn’t know when to stop. But it was good quality and no loud music on our visit, but this is not always the case, so be warned.

I had researched a number of restaurants prior to my trip, that I thought would be a good fit to celebrate my sisters birthday. I was fortunate enough to find Buddha Beach Bar Abaton. To put it simply, the pictures do not do it enough justice- we were blown away! As this was a surprise dinner, I couldn’t have been happier. We were met with stunning views, and the best service from Eleni, that I have honestly experienced. We couldn’t have been happier. So much so, that we visited again the next evening. If you would like to draw your evening to a close, sat by the beach, next to a fire pit with drinks following outstanding food. Well, look no further than here, be prepared to be given the highest tier of service by Eleni and the team. Thank you for helping me make my sisters birthday one to remember.

We had a lovely evening here while on our holiday to Crete. The food was 10/10, the cocktails were also lovely! The staff were so attentive and the value for money was great considering back in London you would pay double what we paid for the same food and service. The sunset was also beautiful, i’d definitely recommend booking a table for this specifically!
