We saw the comments before booking but we wanted to make our own mind. It is not worth neither the effort nor the money to go there because the food was disgusting and I am weighting my words. Other than that location is nice, waitresses were kind.

The food was disappointing. We had noticed several reviews mentioning the same issue but decided to try it ourselves since some ratings still seemed promising. Unfortunately, our experience confirmed the concerns—this place really didn’t meet expectations.

Excellent Location, Fantastic View and sunset, Great food and service ! The only thing that was too loud was the music from the DJ, I understand the concept of the Beach Bar, but still you should be able to eat dinner and have a conversation with your partner. We will be back. Thank you for the great experience.

Food did not taste like usual Buddah bars and I’ve had many outside of London. However was edible after the hotel food we had been receiving. The fried rice was nice and tasteful but the black cod and everything was not. They were very hospitable to my 2 year old and I.

Overpriced for no reason, the location is valuable yet the whole management is really unacceptable for Buddha Bar standards! Final experience of our family lunch was the refusal of the manager to issue a legal receipt which by the way is illegal! After complains they made the exception to issue it and hand it over to us in the hotel reception after continuous complaints! Really avoidable and a bad advertisement for tourism!

I had the pleasure of dining at Buddha-Bar Beach in Crete one evening, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. The setting at night is magical — elegant lighting, relaxing music, and a luxurious ambiance right by the sea. It felt like the perfect mix of sophistication and chill island vibes. I ordered sushi, which was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. Each bite was full of flavor and perfectly balanced. Along with the food, I enjoyed a couple of their signature cocktails — both were creative, refreshing, and matched the atmosphere perfectly. The service was top-notch: friendly, attentive, and very professional without being too formal. Overall, it was a memorable night with great food, drinks, and a stunning location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Crete who’s looking for a stylish and high-quality dining experience by the water.

Had a truly memorable dinner! The food was fantastic!The service was excellent, the staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcome. To top it all off, the view was absolutely stunning, adding an unforgettable touch to the evening. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a special dining experience.

I had higher expectations of the food however most dishes were bland and overcooked. Cocktails were also very overpriced. The overall setting and experience was nice but I wouldn’t rush to go back unfortunately.

Food wasn’t enjoyable. Dishes all came at different times, so some of had our sides which were getting cold and mains were not given. Quite bizarre. The waitress seemed annoyed that I had asked to see the bill before paying, which is unheard of. She wasn’t friendly. The restaurant is overrated, much nicer restaurants to eat in. The food was not good and wouldn’t return.

Food was perfect, staff were friendly and helpful, anything we mentioned are asked about was provided for us. I’m still dreaming about my food we were so impressed and we can’t wait to come back
