   The food was great. Unfortunately our server forgot things and we didn’t get them until several minutes after our meals were brought. My wine didn’t come until I was done eating and I selected it to go with my meal.

   As usual the wait staff was fabulous, and food good. However, the hostess was flat out rude- asking us to hurry and order as she seated us because they had a busy night. Certainly dampened the mood- we almost walked out.

   Even though they were out of short ribs there was many other entrees to select from. Bucks has a great selection of cocktails and vast wine list. The food came out hot and delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Unfortunately, we were too full to enjoy dessert and coffee. Will be back next year!

   Server (Allison) was excellent. Had the special..mahi with couscous. Couscous was undercooked. It was $45 for this entree….definitely not good value.

   I had a burger and it was just ok, there was not a lot of flavor. The drink prices are pretty high as well. But the caesar salad and meatloaf were tasty.

   This place is a sleeper! We've been coming here for 12 years and simply love this place when we visit Big Sky. The game selections are great and the wine list is pretty killer as well. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Big Sky and wants a great meal!

    Food was excellent, server was working very hard and had been called in because of low staffing so Service was a little slow. Ambience was very Montana like.

    The food was not good and very overpriced. The service was very slow and we had to ask several times for help to get our server to place the order and get the check. I was I. A group of 6 and none of us cared for the food and we all had different entrees.

    We were seated in a room with several large groups who were quite loud. The other seating area we walked through to get to our table was quiet. Guess we have to be more specific with hostess!

    We had a really lovely family dinner here to celebrate a birthday. The food and the service were both wonderful. Even though this place is famous for its meat, the vegetarian in our party had no trouble finding things to eat. The soups, salads, and desserts were fantastic. Highly recommend this place!

    Our party of 8 had the meatloaf, duck, burger and pot pie. Everything was excellent, as usual. The staff are always knowledgeable and friendly. Our only disappointments were that the shuttle service has been discontinued, and the duck bacon risotto is nowhere to be found.

    Our server Clair was wonderful - very efficient, professional, friendly. Has the curry squash soup, duck lettuce wraps, Russell sprouts. All was very good. Everything in Big Sky has become super expensive and Bucks isn’t your bargain choice, but it definitely has affordable options on the menu. A wonderful place that the locals love.

    All 6 of us enjoyed our entrees. Service and atmosphere were wonderful. Sides and salads were good but a little pricy. Desserts were excellent. We will be back!

    We ate at a high top in the bar area by choice. This has been our go-to favorite for a few years. This was our first time since last year. Big disappointment! Menu had changed significantly - very few moderate priced options. We opted for the burger and each tried a soup. The soups were very good! My husband enjoyed his burger, but for me, it was Sooo huge, it was overwhelming and I could only eat half of it. Also very difficult to eat because so large and overstuffed. We will probably not go back again this season unless we hear something has changed. The service was also less than satisfactory. There was apparently a “mix-up” regarding who was waiting on us, consequently we waited an inordinate amount of time before we saw someone to take a drink order. Then our meal sat on the bar for several minutes while our waiter entertained another table. After the chef reminded him that his order was ready, and after he finished his casual conversation, he finally delivered our meal. Not an impressive evening!

    Bucks is a must when we are vacationing in big sky. It always delivers good Montana fare with an up grade. We enjoyed wait staff,pierce, and sommelier, Kevin, very much. Thank you for a wonderful evening out.

    Enjoyed a great meal. Bucks is a classic Montana steakhouse. Rustic appearance but the food is very good. We had great apps and delicious bison filet. Overall a great experience and would recommend.

    We had a great dinner with amazing wines. The duck breast lettuce wrap app was a highlight. As always the beef tenderloin and filet were hits. Nice to finds it off with a skillet choc chip cookie. The service was outstanding.
