Business was closing and they were out of a lot of menu items.
Manager started yelling at servers. She was obnoxious asf
Walked up and left. Place is closing so it doesn’t matter anyway. Seated 30 minutes past reservation, waiter was overwhelmed.
bar food quality, the service was extreamly slow. Had 6pm reservations and had to check in 3 times with the hostess, wasn't seated until 630. Didn't see waiter until 10 min later and he explained how busy he was. Food quality when finally served was fair at best. never refilled drinks, never cleared table.
It was horrible I was excited to go to buck head but the experience was awful. The food was horrible, and I heard a couple days later they were closing down and realized maybe that’s why it was so horrible.
Excellent all around
Salmon was well prepared.
Caramel cheesecake delicious
Great service and great food.
We were celebrating a birthday, had noted that in our reservation and waited a long time after our meal but nothing happened. During our meal a staff person spent a LONG time vacuuming around our table making it impossible to talk!!! Our server took a very long time to bring our checks and forgot a request for a take out soft drink. Food was excellent though and appreciated the attention to disinfecting tables and menus.
I mean the food was hot but 10 bucks for 6 skins was high and my ribs where well over cooked. Service was good my date enjoyed her drink.
Awesome place to dine right on the river! The Louisville skyline was absolutely beautiful!
This place is a very walkable destination in downtown Jeffersonville. Great views of the river and DT Louisville. My wife enjoyed a very nice dinner. Service was very attentive. Menu has many selections. Prices are so low, we were surprised. Only weird part was a separate charge for ice in my bourbon glass.
The entire experience was great and very affordable
First time visit, great food, great view, great service!!
Delicious food with awesome views of the city. Will definitely come again.
Plates for bread was dirty . Tea was nasty tasted like tea bags was left in to long , my mashed potatoes was salty . We got the queso in we got a very few broken chips . The waiter had like 4 tables and took a while to bring ticket wasn’t offered any refills I ended up asking another server to Bring me some water .
We were able to sit at the bar since it was a date night without kids! The bartender took great care of us... even though she was the only one working. The food was good. Everyone was wearing masks and keeping socially distant.
Very nice place. Our service was questionable. I don’t believe we had the server assigned to our table, but Michelle S. Took care of us after no other server acknowledged us. Michelle S. did a good job. If the service would have been seamless, we would have give a better score. We would try this restaurant again, as we enjoy the Buckheads in Newport.
They couldn’t pull up my reservation but were able to accommodate my party. The food was terrible, cold, and nasty across the entire table. Server was great and management was able to take care of the food issues but overall I’d give the experience a 2/5.
We sat outside and the music was excellent but too loud as it was difficult to talk. The fish and chips were excellent but the chicken salad was only ok.
We had a reservation but they still didn't have a table available. They tried to put 5 adults at a 4 top with an extra chair on the end. When we finally got a table, the server didn't have a mask on until we said something about it. The manager was at the food window with her mask down eating and licking her fingers while she was getting orders ready. Not somewhere I will be going back to.
The wait staff is not very sophisticated but the food was great and the view of the river was spectacular
Food and service good. Great live music. Patio seating could be updated for more comfortable
My wife and I enjoyed our visit very much. We were seated very quickly and our meals were very good. Our waiter was very good. Had everything we needed right there and he was very polite and efficient. Enjoyed our visit very much. Will be back soon.
Outstanding view of Louisville. Ask for a window!
Our servers name was tabitha I believe, she had tattoos hair in a bun (only describing cause I don’t recall her name) best service we have had in a long time (we don’t make it to buckheads to often) the steak I ordered was cooked to perfect a lot of times most places do not season the meat they just throw it on there a lot of times it’s over cooked (all this is at other places) everything was absolutely perfect. We don’t get out often especially the way things are right now we couldn’t have asked for a better environment, service or food. Great job to everyone that played a part in our evening. I’ll also add when we were first seated it was not as we requested and even that was quickly resolved we were placed in an area with ZERO people and a beautiful view. We will be back
Very good food, nice size portions. They were very accomadating for my parents who have mobility issues with stairs. Our server was wonderful as I was concerned we would be overlooked sitting away from the main areas, but we were not. It was clean. If I were to complain about anything it would be the table itself was a bit sticky, but from knowledge of the industry it is from the cleaners used not residue from uncleanliness, maybe look at some new tables. I would rather have had my fried green tomatoes have a lighter breading, but that is a personal preference for me. Otherwise a great dining experience.
Every time we have eaten at Buckhead’s we have totally enjoyed the experience. Excellent food, service, and value. We would strongly suggest Buckhead’s to anyone.
The service was great. Beer was cold. The food was mediocre at best.
The wait for our food was over 45 minutes and there were only two tables occupied. Our server was very apologetic, however, she was having an extremely bad day herself. We asked for condiments, boxes, and a few other normal items and had to ask for all of those things at least twice and it always took 5-10 minutes to receive them. I will say that when we did receive our food, it was hot and delicious. This was the worst experience I have had at this restaurant but it will not prevent me from returning. Perhaps a little more hands on training would be helpful.
We arrived during a thunderstorm, so outside seating was "washed out" but we had a reservation and were seated promptly. However, in the reservation we had opted for the upper tier, but the greeter seated us elsewhere. When asked about this after the meal, she replied "we thought you'd like elsewhere, sorry." My response was we should at least have been given the chance to receive what we requested. Service was OK and the staff did try their best, but we had to make corrections twice: one side (broccoli) simply didn't arrive until we flagged down a senior server and complained. My guest's steak and ribs were really great, as was my salad and baked potato, but my smaller steak was ordered medium well and came medium rare--with a big piece of grizzle through it that occupied about one quarter of the steak. However, it was not visible until one cut into it and tried to eat it. The staff, to their credit, removed the cost of the steak from my bill--without me even asking. Yes, I would go back there.
Being able to eat on the deck was wonderful and exhilarating. It's such a wonderful venue. My meal was delicious and affordable. Everybody outside was having a wonderful time. I can't wait to go back!
Service was good but food was terrible. We got a sirloin that smelled and tasted very off, almost like it was old meat. Returned and didn’t want a replacement, they only gave us a 50% refund. We also got 4 kids cheeseburgers and all the buns were stale. I got a salad and it was ok but it was more croutons than lettuce. Very strange.
Food was lukewarm, took a long time to get ketchup for fries. One of the servers had her mask over her mouth but not over her nose. The only handicapped accessible door was the exit. Overall, not impressed.
Birthday Dinner.
Outdoor seating was great. Food, as always, was very good, but service was a little chaotic at times.
Always love buckheads! This was my first time making a reservation and it was quick, easy, and the restaurant was ready to seat us!
Our waiter was not interested in making our dinner a pleasant experience, just in getting through his order taking and delivery.
Presentation of the food lacks visual appeal. Green beans from a can, and not dressed up with seasonings. So so
Very good food, will be visiting again and next time hopefully near a window to look out on the water.
We had a reservation for 7:45pm and were not seated until 8:10. The food was poor and expensive for what we got.
Pasta needed more sauce, other wise very enjoyable.
